adèle dourand was only 20 when she turned into a vampire in 1705. her creator was none other than carlisle cullen, her first love. she was turned out of desperation as she laid, dying in the street. carlisle was still young then, so when he had done things he could never take back, he had to disappear to understand who he was as a vampire and in turn, he left adèle, his mate, on her own. now it's 2010, and adèle has returned to find him.
