She hauled herself back from the shiny silver-white liquid as if she stayed there any longer it would pull her in into the dark abyss. Gasping for air, heavily breathing. Her eyes were wide open, thousand of thoughts raced through her mind.
The liquid ran down her neck making her shudder.

An eruption of emotions swelled in her heart. So much. So much was happening. What just played in front of her eyes ran a sharp pang through her chest. Her head was concealed in a fervor of unknown emotions. Empathy. She couldn't help but feel empathy, she tightly closed her eyes but she saw them, The familiar reflections revealed in front of her eyes but when she opened them she saw him.

The dots started to connect now, she understood why it was her. She understood what made them so bounded.

All of this had made her dwell in guilt. She wanted to speak, to say something but she couldn't bear to meet his burning gaze that bored holes into her soul. Feeling just his presence now made her wanted to crumble to the ground. Her lips quivered, trying to come up with words, she found her self speechless.

After a moment that seemed to last for hours, she finally spoke still not meeting his harsh stare, his eyes that sought hers for an answer, for a response.

With her voice barely above a whisper, she felt herself drowning in remorse as she spoke

"I wish I would have known better"
