The Hunters prepared for their Dragon Hunt.

Zane, Kai and Jay were in a cage, looking miserable.

Wu, Cole and (Y/n) watched from behind a wheel, looking at the trio. They then climbed onto a vehicle, and the guy with a spider mech. He looked up at them. ''What do you think you're doing?'' He asked, pointing up at them.

''Uh, we've been asked to lend a hand.'' Cole replied, putting his hand on the side.

''Didn't I hear you three were from the Dangerbuff clan?'' He asked.

Cole looked at Wu while (Y/n) narrowed her eyes at the guy.

''Yup.'' Cole answered.

''Well then, I refuse to hunt with the three of you, because no Dangerbuff I know can shoot a hole in the ground.'' He said, lifting one of the spider mech's legs.

Wu jumped onto a part of the vehicle, narrowing his eyes at him. ''Then stay at home, tinsel toes,'' Wu pointed at him. '' 'Cause the boss says they need all the hands he can get. And legs.''

Cole glanced at Wu, before seeing the guy with the spider mech leave.

(Y/n) smiled. ''Nice, Wu.'' 

Wu looked at her and Cole and winked. 

''To the hunt! To the hunt!'' Iron Baron shouted.

It was nightfall.

''How are we supposed to rescue them way up there?'' Wu asked.

''In short, we don't. Not until they're alone.'' Cole replied, looking at Wu.

''Why don't you join us, Dangerbuff?'' Said Chew Toy, and the other Hunters laughed.

(Y/n) sighed, and followed the other two to the campfire, where they sat down.

Cole, feeling awkward, looked over at someone sharpening a blade.

''Uh, that's some blade you have there. Crazy how it repelled those powers.'' Cole said awkwardly.

''Oh yeah? Carved from Dragon bone, from a piece of the Firstbourne.'' Chew Toy replied.

''Firstbourne?'' Wu asked.

''Hey, where you been, Dangerbuff? In the belly of Beetle nut?'' Daddy No Legs asked.

''Firstbourne is the mother of all Dragons. The most powerful in the realm. No one's ever seen it entirely, but it is said to possess every Element of her beloved spawn. The one prize that's always eluded Iron Baron.'' Jet Jack said, looking at Cole. 

''Tell 'em, Jet Jack.'' Arkade said.

''She took Baron's leg, then his arm, then his pride.'' She replied.

''But someone here got a piece of her, didn't you, Heavy Metal?'' Daddy No Legs said, looking over at the person sharpening their blade.

''Iron Baron's been searching for her nest all his life. Said she protects there the ''Dragon Armour''.'' Jet Jack said, looking over at the three.

 ''Dragon Armor?'' Wu questioned.

 ''Worn by the First Spinjitzu Master. Whoever controls the Armor controls Firstbourne. And he who controls Firstbourne can protect us from the Oni.''  Chew Toy said excitedly, bumping into Wu. 

 ''Oni?'' Cole asked, confused.

The Hunters cheered, and began spitting into the fire.

 ''When the Oni see me riding on the mother of all Dragons.'' Daddy No Legs shouted.

''That will be the day.'' shouted a Hunter.

''It's gonna be me, you know.'' Declared Daddy No Legs.

''The Oni? What do they look like?'' Cole asked.

(Y/n) had begun to become uncomfortable with the talk of Oni. She sighed heavily, and Cole looked at her.

''Are you two together?'' Asked a Hunter, looking at them.

''N-no!'' (Y/n) stuttered, blushing. 

Cole looked surprised. ''No?'' He answered, blushing.

''Well, it looks like it.'' The Hunter snorted, looking back at the fire.

A shrill roar broke the silence.

''Dragon! Don't just stand there, Dangerbuff! Man the turret!'' Daddy No Legs shouted, ordering the three to get to their job.

 Iron Baron looked at the night sky. ''Where is she? There! There!'' He shouted, as the clouds parted to reveal a fast moving silhouette. 

 ''A Wind Dragon. A good-sized one too. Lay low! Let her come.'' He ordered, as the dragon came close to land a blow. It then opened its mouth and unleashed a gust of wind, blowing out the fire. ''Now!'' He shouted.

''Take a shot, Dangerbuff! What are you waiting for?'' Daddy No Legs shouted to the three, who had gotten into the turret.

Cole aimed for the trio in chains, launching a chain and freeing them, though they were still in Vengestone chains.

 ''Oh, no. My mistake.'' Cole apologised, shrugging. (Y/n) smirked.

 ''I should've known to never trust a Dangerbuff. Get out of there!'' Daddy No Legs ordered.

 ''Now's our chance. Let's get them.'' Cole said, hopping down from the vehicle with Wu and (Y/n).

''She's making a run for it! Follow her!'' Iron Baron said, hopping on to his vehicle.

The three approached the spot where they thought Kai, Jay and Zane were.

Before looking around to see them in the cage again.

''What?'' Cole said, confused.

''You heard the Baron, get a move on!'' Daddy No Legs ordered.

While the three sat on the side of the vehicle, watching the Hunt, (Y/n) looked at the stars, feeling the rumble of the engines hurt her ears. 

Cole turned to her, a concerned expression on his face. ''What's wrong?'' He asked.

(Y/n) sighed. ''It's just so... loud.'' 

Cole patted her on the shoulder. ''Just cover your ears and convince yourself there's no noise. Or you could talk to me, if you want to.'' Cole said with a smile.

(Y/n) smiled. ''I'd rather talk to you.'' She replied, smiling.

The two talked for the rest of the hunt, while Wu watched.

Suddenly, a sound like that of dragon against ground was heard, making the two look to see what happened.

The Wind Dragon laid on the ground, in chains.

Cole and (Y/n) looked at each other before the three of them hopped down, and went to Kai, Zane and Jay.

''Tonight wasn't our night.'' Kai said, looking hopeless.

''It wasn't hers either.'' Jay replied, referring to the Wind Dragon.

''We'll figure a way out of this, for us, and the dragons.'' Cole reassured them. Jay glanced at the two, seeing them holding hands. He decided to not question it.
