CHARACTER ✸ he's the golden boy of Glenmore High School, embodying a Nate Archibald-like charm. If you haven't heard of INVISIBLE THINGS? Honestly, you'd have to be living under a rock, because he's that one guy who goes under 'most popular' in the yearbook. It's not even that he particularly excels at anything, his grades are atrocious and he's kind of just vibing all the time, but you can't hate him. He's well-meaning, has a literal heart of gold and is there for anyone whenever they need. He might be a little dense and it might take him a while to process things, but the Golden Retriever energy is strong with this one—he's loyal, friendly, eager to please, and a total sweetheart when he cares for someone. Notably, he struggles in love, he's been in several relationships and has never been the toxic one, but he can just never get it right. His main flaw is being a little on the vain side, perhaps checking the mirror a little too often, but we forgive him, he's just a guy. He's a frequent partygoer, everyone knows that when INVISIBLE THINGS shows up, it's going to be a good time. Spontaneous and creative, he's an excellent friend to have all 'round.

RELATIONSHIPS ✸ his best friend in the whole world, R U MINE?, is truly his polar opposite, they couldn't be more different. They met in freshman year and they've been inseparable since, although since he's far more popular than his friend, INVISIBLE THINGS isn't around him all the time. He tries to be, though. Little does he knows his best friend has some big feelings for him—he's far too oblivious for that.

RECEIVED OR WROTE? ✸ received! INVISIBLE THINGS received one letter, with no name on it saying who it was from. All that was there was his address, and the contents of the letter itself. How odd. He's naturally very confused, and really just doesn't know what to think—it's not everyday you get a random love letter. School's just starting up again, so he's on a quest to figure out who sent it, with the help of R U MINE?... how ironic.

CHARACTER ✸ he's absolutely a rockstar at heart, passionate about music and embodying many of the things stereotypically associated with rockstars, but due to pressure from his father, he's forced to be a 'jock' of sorts, and plays on the Glenmore High hockey team. He enjoys the sport, but has a rather intense dislike for its players. He's one of the most controversial people in the school, known for being blunt and sarcastic and for often making shocking comments. To put it shortly, he would definitely be cancelled on Twitter. He's an emotional wall who keeps his true feelings well-guarded in order to protect himself, known for his tough love attitude where he uses sarcasm as a defense with even those he cares deeply about. R U MINE? is one of those people where you either love them or hate them, and it's rare to find any in-betweeners. He has a secret band hidden from his father, maintaining what might be described as a double life where he balances his musician aspirations with the façade of a jock imposed by his father.

RELATIONSHIPS ✸ he and INVISIBLE THINGS are yin and yang. They share a deep bond despite their contrasting personalities and R U MINE? has had feelings for his best friend for well... a long time. A carefully guarded secret that no one knows about, and no one can know about. Subconsciously, he ends up dating people who resemble his best friend, and in this instance, he's dating FEATHER who is reminiscent of INVISIBLE THINGS in their personalities, with her being a golden girl. They've only just started dating this summer, a relatively new relationship.

RECEIVED OR WROTE? ✸ wrote! R U MINE? wrote out his love letter in lyric form. He wasn't actually a part of the sleepover, but briefly came to visit due to it being hosted at his girlfriend's house, getting roped into the activities but deciding to do them on his terms. His letter was read aloud, though much of what was written applied as much to FEATHER as it did INVISIBLE THINGS. The letter was not signed, nor did it contain INVISIBLE THINGS' name, only his address, which none of the others saw. When the letter is posted, it could be disastrous for R U MINE?, who has no desire to make his feelings known. Good thing he's anonymous, right?

CHARACTER ✸ your typical football jock, or well, maybe not so typical. While he embodies many of the stereotypes of this kind of student, including being charming, popular and athletic and being the quintessential quarterback, he's not a bully, nor is he unintelligent. He's pretty mediocre academically, but he possesses a soft, charismatic wit, using sarcasm but in a way that comes across as endearing and friendly. WHAT'S LEFT OF YOU is based off of both Peter Kavinsky and loosely, Aidan from the Barbie franchise. He's a relatively laid-back person, easygoing and approachable, getting along with most people. As his song would suggest, he's a very healthy person when it comes to relationships and friendships alike—he loves unconditionally. Honestly? He embraces the flaws of his loved ones, he might encourage people to do better, but he firmly believes in taking the bad with the good. He has very few enemies, although for those who do want to criticise him, he does struggle somewhat with communicating his feelings to people.

RELATIONSHIPS ✸ he has close friendships with both IT'LL BE OKAY and DREAMER. IT'LL BE OKAY has been his friend since they were in the 4th grade, so they're thick as thieves. They balance each other out well, and have a meaningful friendship where they often go to one another for advice. DREAMER has been friends with WHAT'S LEFT OF YOU since they were in kindergarten, a long time to say the least. They're absolutely like brother and sister, and for a while, the three of them formed a trio. WHAT'S LEFT OF YOU became a voluntary third wheel when the two started dating three years ago. WHAT'S LEFT OF YOU is also currently dating CLUB HEAVEN, who he's been dating since junior year. They met through her tutoring him, although they're a very on and off couple because he's so used to being in the spotlight, something she shies away from, and have very poor communication.

That would've been great, because he was planning on them getting back together, however dysfunctional, but instead, it was from POWER & CONTROL, her step sister. That was a shock. At first, he was perplexed, but being the type of person who takes things as they come, he decided to use it to his advantage and suggested they pretend to date, thinking it might make CLUB HEAVEN take him back (not his smartest moment). CHARACTER ✸ one of the two candidates for student president this year, running alongside MAD AT DISNEY. He was the student rep for their year group last year, and let's just say he doesn't plan on losing his streak. He's organised and responsible, as well as being just and principled, but he shouldn't be mistaken for someone who is emotionally disconnected. He's a stand-up guy and a gentleman, and despite his serious demeanour, he's actually very soft and romantic. He isn't at all skeptical about love, and when he falls, he falls hard. He's a committed person, so it makes sense that the only relationship he's ever been in has lasted three years. IT'LL BE OKAY's main weakness is being a workaholic, sometimes prioritising work over his personal life, even if his intentions are pure. It takes effort to be the academic unit that he is, after all. Regardless, he's a very well-liked person and many feel comfortable going to him for help due to his maturity and patience. He's your typical first love kind of man, responsible and gentle.

RELATIONSHIPS ✸ he's one third of a close-knit trio with WHAT'S LEFT OF YOU and DREAMER. At least, they were a trio. At the start of the summer he and DREAMER broke up, initiated by her due to his work-first attitude which conflicted with her desire to have a grand kind of romance. They had conflicting priorities, with WHAT'S LEFT OF YOU desiring only to be comfortable. His attitude to the break-up is reflected in his song, he's only just beginning to move on, but he's approached it like a gentleman. The one part where he might be a bit of an asshole is in a very uncharacteristic move where he's started "dating" WALKING ON SUNSHINE at the end of summer vacation after they met on a beach and she started teaching him to surf. He means well, really, but he is subconsciously using her as a rebound. He doesn't mean to. Honestly, he doesn't know what the two of them are and he'd like to keep it that way—it's too much after his breakup.

Granted, given MAD AT DISNEY is his mutual sworn rival, it read more like "I hate that I'm attracted to you" but well, he has no idea what to do now. With either of the letters. He doesn't even know why he got them. I mean, he's just been through a rough break-up and has this whole thing going on with WALKING ON SUNSHINE and he just is NOT a three-timing type of man. He experienced parental neglect and essentially raised himself, which made him self-sufficient but, well, quirky. Despite the chaotic borderline insanity he possesses, he's highly intelligent and is talented in many various areas, surprising people every time. Still, he has that thousand-yard stare, an intense look that often scares people away from making friends with him. Honestly? No one knows what he's thinking. He's handsome and a great actor, which is quite the lethal combination, benefitting from pretty privilege but somehow also being largely a loner. He's an enigma, that's the general consensus. It's actually become a game between some people—who can predict what MIND IS A PRISON is going to do next? The truth is that he's a loveable guy at heart and has so much love to give, but no one ever takes the time to get to know him.

RELATIONSHIPS ✸ making friends is something that he's struggled with here. He's made one, HEAVEN, who he's become a kind of wingman for. They've been friends since roughly mid junior year, the first friend that MIND IS A PRISON made at Glenmore High. How genuine that friendship is is really up to the admins. Regardless, MIND IS A PRISON is just glad to have made a friend. He's learned a lot about Rosewood from HEAVEN and is grateful for his friendship, even if they're an unlikely pairing.

RECEIVED OR WROTE? ✸ received! This is... weird. MIND IS A PRISON was convinced that most people hated him or at the most, were indifferent towards him. Oddly enough, he received a letter from WALKING ON SUNSHINE. It was nothing crazy, she just seemed to think he was fun and intriguing... he's flattered but confused. Is she even single? Also why did she randomly send him this when they've barely interacted? He has no clue what to do with the letter. In a sad way, he kind of treasures it, it's nice to know that someone sees him in that way... it makes his heart happy.

He might flirt for fun, but he believes in 'the one' and is a playful guy despite how serious and unreachable he seems to those who don't know him. To those who don't know the real him, he gives off this 'untouchable' energy that often intimidates others, yet, for those close with him, he'll be the first suspect if someone's played a prank on someone else. He has a very youthful countenance even though he has RBF and he loves to just, have fun. His main fault is that he pushes boundaries, which can be a strength and a weakness. He's a kind person at heart but he can get carried away with his idealism and with his idea of what's right, and ends up unintentionally hurting others.

RELATIONSHIPS ✸ he used to date POWER & CONTROL back in junior year, but it was an incredibly toxic relationship. She had her own demons she was fighting, and he wasn't really of much help. He had his own things to deal with, and well, she wasn't number one priority in his life. He always has to be on the move, and he just didn't have it in him to be stationary and work through her problems, which well, fair enough. He would be open to dating again though. He might've romanticised the toxicity slightly...

He doesn't know what to think. However, when POWER & CONTROL and WHAT'S LEFT OF YOU start 'dating', he has the brilliant idea to fake date CLUB HEAVEN (he and WHAT'S LEFT OF YOU should be friends, honestly) so they can both get their exes back. He's helping her with her presidential campaign and is totally sticking up 'WANTED' style presidential posters around the school (thank you Mako for the idea LMAO). He used to date OBSESSED, really a short-lived thing right before the summer that ended around mid summer. He was into her, but she was as crazy as him, and that's a whole lot of crazy. I mean, he was down, but she broke up with him. Oh well. Sad. He got over it the next day, although he still has fond memories of all the absolutely wild things they'd do together. He doesn't fully recall, but they may have set the science lab alight at one point. He does too much wild shit to remember.
