Dean drove down the dark road as it was now night out. Sam sat in the passenger seat, talking on the phone, while Carmen laid across the back seat. "Really? Well, thank you for taking our survey, and if you do plan to fly, please don't forget your friends at United Britannia Airlines. Thanks," He said in a cheery tone before hanging up. "All right. That takes care of Blaine Sanderson and Dennis Holloway. They're not flying anytime soon."

"So Amanda is our wild card flight attendant." She asked, messing with the strings of her hoodie. "Right, her sister Karen said her flight leaves Indianapolis at eight. It's her first night back on the job." Sam confirmed. "That sounds like just our luck," Dean remarked.

"Tweety, even with you behind the wheel it's still like a five hour drive." She stated finally sitting upright in the seat.

"Why don't you call Amanda's cell phone again, see if we can't head off at the pass." Dean insisted making Sam quickly shake his head, "I already left three voice messages. She must have turned her cellphone off. We're never gonna make it." He clarified as Carmen quickly tightened her seatbelt knowing where this was going. "We'll make it,"

💾

The three rushed into the airport, quickly checking the Departure board. Sam pointed at the middle screen finding the answer they were looking for, "Right there. They're boarding in thirty minutes."

"Okay. We still have some cards to play. We need to find a phone. Dean stated as Carmen started looking around, finding the bright red courtesy phone. "Found it," She announced as the two looked at her following to where she was pointing at.

Dean picked up the bright red phone, "Hi. Gate thirteen," Carmen and Sam stood on either side of him trying to listen the best they can. "I'm trying to contact Amanda Walker. She's a flight attendant on flight-" He looked at Carmen who held up her fingers, "-um, flight four-two-four."

"Come on. Miss Walker. Hi, this is Dr. James Hetfield from St. Francis Memorial Hospital. We have a Karen Walker here. Nothing serious, just a minor car accident, but she was injured, so-" Dean started to say before quickly going quiet. "You what? Uh, well...there must be some mistake," The two younger siblings looked at each other nervously. "Guilty as charged," Dean replied with a little chuckle.

"He's really sorry," He said with another pause. "Yes, but...he really needs to see you tonight, so-" Carmen realized that they weren't getting anywhere. "Don't be like that. Come on. The guy's a mess. Really. It's pathetic," He said with a smile. "Oh, yeah...No, no. Wait, Amanda. Amanda!" He shouted before putting the phone back. "Damn it! So close,"

"All right, it's time for, what, Plan D? Which is getting on the plane?" Carmen suggested as Sam nodded in agreement, but Dean's eyes grew wide. "Whoa, whoa, now just hold on a second."

"Dean, that plane is leaving with over a hundred passengers on board, and if we're right, the plane is gonna crash." Sam protested.

"I know..."

"Okay. So we're getting on the plane, we need to find that demon and exorcise it. I'll get the tickets. You and Carm get whatever you can out of the trunk. Whatever you'll think will make it through the security. Meet me back here in five minutes." Sam ordered as Carmen nodded, but Dean was just looking between the two clearly anxious. "Are you okay?"

"No, not really." The oldest answered, giving a nervous smile.

"What? What's wrong?"

"Well, I kind of have this problem with, uh..." He trailed off not wanting to say it aloud. "Flying?" The two asked in unison. "It's never really been an issue until now," He replied.

"You're joking, right?"

"Do I look like I'm joking? Why do you think I drive everywhere, Sam?"

Carmen's eyes looked down, thinking of a plan that would either work in her favor or be a great opportunity to show off how fast she can think on her feet. "Right...So, Sam and I will go." Dean's head snapped towards her, "What?"

"We'll do this one on our own." Sam added.

"What are you both nuts? Sam, you said it yourself, the plane's gonna crash." He said in a hushed tone. "Dean, either all three of us can do this, or me and Sam can do it ourselves. We can do it." She explained as Sam just helped drive her point home, "I'm not seeing a third option, here," Dean sighed heavily, "Come on! Really Man..."

💾

The three Winchester's sat in the last available row, luckily getting the last three seats near a window. The intercom spoke as everyone was getting ready for the plane to take off. Sam sat close to the window, Carmen in the middle sat, and Dean near the aisle seat reading the safety card. "Just try to relax," Sam tried to tell him. "Just try to shut up." He snapped back, making Sam chuckle.

Carmen smiled resting her head against her headrest as she shut her eyes. She was scared, this was the first time flying and it was supposed to go down in thirty minutes. Fumbling with her necklace as the plane took off. Thinking of her mother, which oddly calmed her. Most people would think it would make her sad, and it did, of course it did. But, every time she did remember the few things she could, it brought her comfort.

A few minutes passed of them being in the air before she finally opened her eyes. Exhaling out of her mouth before checking on Sam, who was fine. Dean on the other hand was still anxious, hearing him humming. Nudging Sam's hand as he noticed it too as they both listened to him closely, "Are you humming Metallica?" She whispered.

"Calm's me down,"

Sam let out a sigh, "Look man, I get you're nervous, all right? But you gotta stay focused. I mean, we got thirty-two minutes and counting to track this thing down, or whoever it's possessing, anyway, and perform a full-on exorcism,"

"Yeah, on a crowded plane. That's gonna be easy." The oldest remarked sarcastically.

"Just focus on one thing at a time. Like who's possessed, and then we'll go off that." She suggested trying to calm him down.

Dean sighed before nodding making her smile lightly, "It's usually gonna be somebody with some sort of weakness, you know, a chink in the armor that the demon can worm through. Somebody with an addiction or some sort of emotional distress."

"Well, this is Amanda's first flight after the crash. If I were her, I'd be pretty messed up." Sam said to the two.

"Mm-hm," Dean hummed, nodding his head before turning to the nearest flight attendant. "Excuse me. Are you Amanda?"

She shook her head keeping her friendly smile on, "No, I'm not."

"Oh, my mistake." He apologized with a smile as she walked away. He then turned towards the back of the plane before turning back to his siblings. "Alright, well, that's got to be Amanda back there, so I'll go talk to her, and, uh, I'll get a read on her mental state."

"And if she's already..." She trailed off as he knew what she was getting at.

"There's ways to test that." He started to say quietly, going into his bag and pulling out a bottle of water. "I brought holy water." Sam swiftly snatched the bottle and tucked it into his hoodie pocket. "No, I think we can go more subtle. If she's possessed, she'll flinch at the name of God." Carmen told him knowing it wouldn't end well if he walked up and poured a bottle of water on her. So, she went the better route which was to use what she was taught to use. "

"Nice one sis," Dean affirmed making her smile while he got up and turned around.

"Hey," Sam quickly called, getting Dean to lean over the seat to the two, "What?" He questioned. "Say it in Latin," The younger brother told him, "I know." He replied going to turn away but Sam stopped I'm once more. "Okay, hey!"

"What?!"

"Uh, in Latin, it's 'Christo',"

"Dude, I know! I'm not an idiot!" He reminded finally walking to the back of the plane.

"God, you two are idiots." She groaned out getting a playful shove from her brother next to her. "Shut up," He muttered as silence fill the space between. Both feeling anxious about the whole plan.

Dean came back after a few minutes, sitting down in his seat next to his sister. "Alright, well, she's got to be the most well-adjusted person on the planet." He informed them sarcastically. Sam leaned over and asked quietly, "You said 'Chriso'?"

"Yeah,"

"And?"

"There's no demon in her. There's no demon getting in her," He answered, making Carmen sigh lightly, "It's on the plane and can be anywhere or anyone."

The plane shook reacting to the tiny bit of turbulence making Dean have a death grab on eithier armrest. "Come on. That can't be normal." He shuddered as Sam tried to sooth him. "Hey, hey, it's just a little turbulence."

"Sam, this plane is going to crash, okay? So quit treating me like I'm fucking four!" He replied in a whispered yell.

"You need to calm down."

"Well, I'm sorry I can't."

"Yes, you can,"

"Dude, stow the touchy-feely, self-help yoga crap, it's not helping."

Carmen shot her hands in front of the two. "You two shut up and listen to me." She told the two before turning to her older brother. "This is the one time I need you to put your big boy pants on and shut your shit down. You're wide open to possession, so calm down."

"Now, take slow breaths," Sam told him as he did so. "Good, now, we found an exorcism in here that I think is gonna work. The Rituale Romanum."

"What do we have to do?" Dean asked now fair more calm.

"It's two parts. The first part expels the demon from the victim's body. It makes it more powerful." Sam started to explain quietly. "More powerful?" He asked as Sam nodded and handed Carmen a paper, "How?"

"Well, it doesn't need to possess someone anymore. It can just wreak havoc on it's own." Carmen replied.

"Oh. And why is that a good thing?"

"Well, because the second part sends the bastard back to hell once and for all," Sam finished the other part. "First things first, we have to find it." Dean sighed out.

The three split up, Carmen and Sam went one way finding nothing while Dean went another. Sam tapped lightly on his shoulder as he jumped, turning to see it was only them. "Don't do that."

"Anything?"

"No, nothing. How much time we got?"

"Fifteen minutes." Carmen replied after looking at her watch that she stole from Dean. "Maybe we missed somebody?"

"Maybe the thing's just not on the plane?" Dean suggested. "You believe that?" Sam questioned as Dean shrugged, "Well, I will if you will."

He looked down at the EMF meter in his hand. "What?" She asked, seeing his confused face. His head turned towards where the Copilot who had just walked out of the bathroom. "Christo," The Copilot turned slowly revealing his eyes went black before walking into the cockpit.

The three gave nervous glances before quickly heading to the back of the plane towards Amanda. Dean went to tell her everything that was currently happening to Sam and Carmen's objections. "She's not gonna believe this."

"Twelve minutes dude," He told his younger brother.

"Oh, hi. Flight's not too bumpy for you, I hope." Amanda said to Dean as they appracted her. "Actually, that's kind of what we need to talk to you about." He said as they filled in with Carmen shutting the curtain behind them. "Um, okay. What can I do for you?" She asked, keeping her friendly smile but you could tell she was very confused. "Alright, this is gonna sound nuts, but we just don't have time for the whole "the truth is out there" speech right now." The oldest started to tell her clearly getting off track. "Alright, look, we know you were on flight 2485."

Amanda's smile slowly disappeared, "Who are you guys?"

"Now, we've spoken to some of the other survivors. We know something brought down that plane and it wasn't a mechanical failure." Sam continued to explain. "And we need your help because we need to stop it from happening again. Here, now." Dean added.

"I'm sorry, I-I'm very busy. I have to go back-" Amanda said trying to go pass the three but Dean stopped her. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a second. I'm not gonna hurt you, okay? But listen to me, uh.... The pilot in 2485, Chuck Lambert. He's dead."

"Wait. What? What, Chuck is dead?"

"He died in a plane crash. Now, that's two plane crashes in two months. That doesn't strike you as strange?" He asked her as all she did was stutter not knowing what to say. Carmen grabbed her brother's arm, "Easy up Dean you're overwhelming her."

"Look, there was something wrong with 2485. Now maybe you sensed it, maybe you didn't. But there's something wrong with this flight, too." He said taking his sister's words into consideration. "Amanda, you have to believe us," Sam added.

Her eyes dropped to the ground. "On.... on 2485, there was this man. He... had these eyes,"

"Yes. That's exactly what we're talking about,"

"I don't understand, what are you asking me to do?" She asked, looking between the three. "We need you to bring the copilot back here." Carmen told her. "Why? What does he have to do with anything?" She kept asking. "Don't have time to explain. We just need to talk to him, okay?" Dean asked as she shook her head, "How am I supposed to go into the cockpit and get the copilot-"

"Do whatever it takes," Sam cut her off. "Tell him there's something broken back here, whatever will get him out of that cockpit."

"Do you know that I could lose my job if you-"

"Okay, well you're gonna lose a lot more if you don't help us out," Dean cut her off she hesitated before agreeing and leaving.

Sam handed the thing of holy water to Carmen who handed their dad's journal to him. The copilot walked in, "Yeah, what's the problem?" Dean punched him as Amanda swiftly closed the curtain as Dean pined the copilot down and Carmen duck taped his mouth.

"Wait. What are you doing? You said you were just gonna talk to him."

"We are going to talk to him." She told her before splashing holy water making his skin sizzle.

"Oh, my god. What's wrong with him!?" She shouted.

"Look, we need you calm. We need you outside the curtain." Sam tried to tell her. "Well, I don't understa--I don't know–" She stuttered out before Sam cut her off. "Don't let anybody in, okay? Can you do that? Can you do that? Amanda?"

"Okay. Okay," She muttered before leaving.

"Hurry up, Sam. I don't know how much longer I can hold him." Dean shouted.

"Regna terrae, cantate Deo, psallite Domino-" Sam started to read in Latin. The Demon broke free briefly and hit Dean before the two managed to restrain it again. Letting Sam pick up where he left off.

The Demon knocked the two off again, ripping the tape off it's mouth. He grabbed Sam by the collar. "I know what happened to your girlfriend! She must have died screaming! Even now, she's burning!"

Dean quickly recovered and punched the demon as Sam stood there stunned. "Sammy!" Carmen called snapping him out of his thoughts beginning to read again. But putting the journal down to help the two pin the demon back down.

Suddenly large black smoke came out of his mouth as the demon expelled out of the copilot's body and disappeared into the vent.

"Where'd it go?" Sam asked as all three of them started looking around.

"It's in the plane. Hurry up, we got to finish it." Dean ordered.

Suddenly, the plane dipped violently. Pushing Sam and Dean against the exit door. Carmen watched as the book started sliding away, stumbling passed the curtains reaching out and grabbing it with her free hand. The other holding onto whatever she could to keep her balance. Finishing the exorcism the best she could over everyone's screaming and crying at the still dropping plane. A bright electronic change ran through the entire plane, leveling it out.

An eerie silence filled the cabin as everyone realized they were okay. Muttering of 'is everyone okay?' started to fill the space.

Carmen fell on her back, letting out a sigh of relief seeing Amanda was okay. Sam and Dean quickly came out of the curtain. Holding out their hands to help pull her up, keeping her hold on the journal. Sam pulled her into a tight hug letting out a sigh of relief seeing she was okay. "Nice job, sis,"

💾

The landing was much safer, and everyone made it. The copilot was now seated in a wheelchair with a blanket wrapped around him. While he and Amanda were being questioned by different agents. "Anything else?" The officer asked. "No, that's all." She told him seeing the Winchester siblings standing across from her, mouthing a 'thank you,'.

"Let's get out of here." Dean stated wrapping his arm around Carmen's shoulders, walking towards the exit.

She glanced up to see Sam was upset. "You okay?" She asked him softly. He stopped looking between the two, "Guys, it knew about Jess."

"Sam, these things they-they-they read minds. They lie, alright? That's all it was." Dean tried to tell him.

"Yeah,"

"Come on," He told him as Carmen held her hand out towards him. He took it as she pulled him up to them and hooked his arm. Dean looked down at her while walking out of the airport, "You did good today, munchkin." He praised her.

"What would you two ever do without me?" She teased as Sam laughed while Dean rolled his eyes pulling her closer.

💾

The three went back to Jerry's office one last time. Carmen and Dean were leaning against the Impala. "Nobody knows what you guys did, but I do. A lot of people could have been killed." Jerry held his hand out to Sam, who shook it. "Your Dad's gonna be real proud." He told him shaking hands with Dean and then with Carmen.

"If you need anything you have Dean's number." She smiled at him before walking to the backseat.

Dean started to walk to the driver side but then stopped, "Speaking of which, you know, Jerry. I meant to ask you, how did you get my cell phone number, anyway? I've only had it for like six months."

"Your Dad gave it to me."

"What?" Sam questioned standing on the passenger side still holding the handle. Carmen's brow frowned as his head tilted. "When did you talk to him?"

"I mean, I didn't exactly talk to him, but I called his number. His voice message said to give you a call. Thanks again, guys." Jerry explained before leaving. The three looked at each other speechless before quickly climbing into the car.

💾

Dean pulled the Impala to a clearing on the side of the road. Carmen sat on the trunk of the Impala while Dean and Sam leaned against it on either side. "This doesn't make any sense, man. I've called Dad's number like 50 times. It's been out of service," Sam finally said. Dean pulled out his phone and slowly dialed the number before putting it on speaker.

This is John Winchester. I can't be reached. If this is an emergency, call my older son, Dean. 785-555-0179. He can help.
