Dean parked the Impala in front of the large building. Looking into his rearview mirror seeing Carmen was asleep peacefully. Turning towards the passenger seat where Sam was asleep, having another nightmare. "Sam, wake up,"

"What?" She asked in a sleepy voice.

"Nothing Carm, go back to sleep." He tried telling her but she threw something to the front hitting Sam, which woke him up. "Ow!"

"Oops. Did I wake you up?" He asked his brother who was looking around still trying to fully wake up. "I take it I was having a nightmare," Dean nodded resting his hands on the steering wheel, "Yeah, another one,"

"Hey, at least I got some sleep."

"You know, sooner or later we're gonna have to talk about this," He sighed before looking outside his window once more, "Are we here?" He asked changing the topic. "Yup. Welcome to Toledo, Ohio." Dean told him, handing him the newspaper.

'The Shoemaker family is sad to announce the sudden death of their beloved husband and father Steven Shoemaker.

Steven was 46.'

"So what do you think really happened to this guy?" He asked setting the paper back down.

"The same thing that's gonna happen if you two don't shut up, and let me sleep." Carmen said harshly, keeping her eyes shut. "That's what we're gonna find out," Dean said opening the door, "Let's go,"

"You two go, I'll stay here." Carmen mumbled turning on her side.

Both brothers stopped and looked back at her. "You okay?" They asked at the same time. She opened her mouth to reply but a small yawn interrupted her. "I haven't slept well since I lost Mr. Whiskers."

Dean's head tilted, "Carmen?" He asked as she finally opened her eyes and looked up at him. "You're sure you're okay?" She gave him a soft smile knowing he was worried about her, "I just need to sleep this whatever off." She replied softly. "Okay, lock the doors. Call us if you need anything. We'll be right back," He told her still worried about her, she mumbled a 'sure' before going back to sleep. And the two went into the large building.

Twenty minutes passed, and Carmen didn't fall back asleep for one minute. Sleeping had been strange for the past two week. It seemed to take her ages to fall asleep and when she did she would only sleep for a maximum of three hours, and then she would be awake for the rest of the day.

"Well?" Carmen asked, not opening her eyes hearing both doors opening. "Might not be one of ours. Might just be some freak medical thing." Sam informed looking back at her seeing she paler and now shaking. "Are you cold, Carm?"

"Not really," But still Sam draped his jacket over her glancing at Dean seeing his expressed matched his.

"How many times in Dad's long and varied career has it actually been a freak medical thing and not some sign of an awful supernatural death?" Dean asked. "Uh, almost never," Sam answered. "Exactly," He told him making him sigh, "Alright, let's go talk to the daughter,"

The two looked back at Carmen who was still shaking but not as badly. Neither one knowing what was wrong, "Carmen, can I ask you something?" Sam asked as she slowly propped herself up on her elbows. "Yup," She replied rubbing her eyes that where tried as her bags under them matches.

"How much sleep have you gotten?"

"Guys, I'm fine,"

"Carmen, how much?" Dean repeated.

"Ten, maybe,"

"Carmen," They both scold. "We've been busy," She tried to make an excuse but they both gave her a look. "I just haven't been able to sleep."

"So, you are running on less than ten hours for a week and a half?" Dean asked as she slowly nodded. "That's it. You're getting some sleep, while we talk to the daughter."

💾

The two took her to a motel room, "Carmen will be right back," Sam told her, closing the door behind her. She just smiled at him from the bed, all tucked in and everything. Hearing the Impala leave the parking lot did she get out of the bed. They really think I'm going to just stay in bed? Pushing the covers to the side and hopping off the bed. Walking over to Sam's bag and pulling out his laptop. Moving to the small two-seat table and starting to type away. Researching anything and everything about their current case.

"Carmen!" Dean shouted as her eyes finally left the screen seeing her two brothers standing in the doorway, pissed. "You're supposed to be asleep."

She glanced down at the clock in the bottom right corner seeing thirty-minutes had passed by and she hadn't noticed. "I'll sleep later."

"No. Carmen you'll sleep now, your body needs it." Sam instead as she looked back up at him. "You went to law school, not medical school. What did the daughter say?" She stated changing the topic. "That it was Bloody Mary." Dean replied. "Bloody Mary? As in say her name three times and she'll do the hookie-pookie?" She remarked sarcastically waving her pointer fingers.

"Yup, but instead of turning you round she kills you."

"So, Bloody Mary is actually real, huh?" She thought aloud.

"We don't know yet. We'll check it out."

"So what are we going to do?" She asked, leaning back in the chair crossing her arms. "Well, Dean and I are going to the library and you're staying here." Sam told her as she quickly pouted, "Like hell I am."

"Language,"

"Besides you need to sleep Carmen," He tried telling her but she quickly scoffed. "That's sweet coming from you." The two follow walked into the room as Dean shut the door only able to watch the two. "What's that supposed to mean?" Her head tilted, "I'm having a small problem sleeping and yet nothing happens to you cause you won't even go near the topic."

"That's enough!" Dean shouted standing in between the two knowing that they would just go around and around. "Now, Sam we and I both know she's right-"

"Ha!" She laughed quickly, getting a look for her to shut up. "-that doesn't mean you have to fight her on the same topic. Carmen, just because your cranky doesn't mean you can go piss everyone off. Either of you can act like your nomal fucking selfs, or I'll go figuer this shit out myself."

"How you barely know how to use a search engine." She remarked getting a small chuckle from Sam, but getting the same look from their older brother. "I'll figure it out!"

There was a small part of silence, Carmen looked up at Sam as he met hers. "I'm sorry," She said softly. "I'm sorry too," He apologized as the two broke into soft smiles. "Great now the chick-flick moment is done, can we go to the damn library."

💾

"Alright, say Bloody Mary really is haunting this town. There's gonna be some sort of proof. Like a local woman who died nasty." Dean said walking down one of the town's library aisle. "Yeah, but a legend this widespread it's hard. I mean, there's like fifty versions of who she actually is. One story says she's a witch, another says she's a mutilated bride, there's a lot more." Sam explained glancing back at him. Carmen was in the front leading them down as Dean followed from behind, and Sam was in the middle of the two.

"All right so what are we supposed to be looking for?" Dean questioned as they arrived to the small circle of computers. "Every version has a few things in common. It's always a woman named Mary, and she always dies in front of a mirror." Carmen answered with a small yawn. "So we've gotta search local newspaper–public records as far back as they go. See if we can find a Mary who fits the bill." Sam added.

"Well that sounds annoying." Dean remarked.

"No it won't be so bad, as long as we..." Sam trailed off as they all turned to each of the computers, all having small signs saying 'Out of Order'. Sam chuckled, "I take it back. This will be very annoying."

A couple of hours had passed and Dean was the only one left awake. Smiling lightly at Carmen, who was in front of him, her arms folded on the table and resting her head on it while Dean's jacket draped around her. His eyes trailed over to Sam next to him who was sleeping in the same position. Finally sleeping. He didn't know if he was sleeping peacefully but was just happy he was finally sleeping.

That was until Sam suddenly jolted awake. Scanning around him quickly finding him and Carmen, still there, completely okay. "Why'd you let me fall asleep?"

"Cause I'm an awesome brother. So, what did you dream about?"

"Lollipops and candy canes. "He replied sarcastically.

"Yeah, sure," The oldest scoffed, placing his elbows onto the table, moving it a bit. "I'm awake!" Carmen yelled, jolting upright, blinking rapidly trying to figure out what was happening. Looking between her brothers and sighing lightly. "Uh, did you two find anything?"

"Besides a whole new level of frustration? No, I looked at everything. A few local woman, a Laura and a Catherine committed suicide in front of a mirror, and a giant mirror fell on a guy named Dave, but uh, no Mary." Dean answered, letting out a sigh of fraustion.

"Ew, you can see yourself dying." She thought out loud, cringing at the thought of having a mirror fall on you and die from it.

"Maybe we just haven't found it yet." Sam muttered, rubbing his hand across his tired face. "I've also been searching for strange deaths in the area, you know bloody tears, blood from your ears, all that good stuff. There isn't anything. Whatever's happening, maybe it isn't Mary." She added. Lightly flipping through one of the books in front of her. Sam's phone suddenly started to ring, gaining all their attention. Pulling it out of his jacket pocket and answered it, "Hello?"

💾

Chaile sat on the bench as the siblings sat with her. SHe had told them about what had happened to her friend, Jill. "And they found her on the bathroom floor. And her-her eyes. They were gone."

"I'm sorry,"

"And she said it. I heard her say it. But it couldn't be because of that. I'm insane, right?" Charlie questioned looking between. All understanding 'it' meant saying Bloody Mary's name. "No, you're not." Carmen tried to console her. "Oh God, that makes me feel so much worse,"

"Look, we think something's happening here. Something that can't be explained," Sam told her. "And we're gonna stop it but we need your help." Dean added.

💾

The three Winchesters waited outside the window of Jill's room, Charlie opened it just as plan. The two brothers gave Carmen a small boost up, followed by Sam. Dean threw the duffel bag into the room before climbing in. Sam sat the duffel on the bed before starting searching through it. "What did you tell Jill's mom?"

"Just that I needed some time alone with Jill's pictures and things." She answered. Sam pulled a camera out of the bag and Dean closed the curtains. "I hate lying to her."

"Trust us, this is for the greater good. Hit the lights," Dean told her as she did. "What are you guys looking for?" She asked standing next to Carmen. "We'll let you know as soon as we find it," He said, as Sam handed him the camera. "Night vision," He muttered turning it on and handing it back to Sam. "Thanks. Perfect," Sam pointed the camera at him, quickly striking a pose, "Do I look like Paris Hilton?"

"Paris Hilton, no? Beetlejuice on the other hand," Carmen teased walking over and opening Jill's closet finding the mirror.

Sam came up and started to film around the mirror. "I don't get it. I mean... the first victim didn't summon Mary, and the second victim did. How's she choosing them?" He questioned. Dean shrugged, "Beats me." he muttered as Sam closed the closet.

Dean turned towards Charlie, "Why did Jill say it in the first place?"

"It was just a joke.

"Yeah, well somebody's gonna say it again, it's just a matter of time."

Sam walked into the bathroom and Carmen was shortly behind him. Watching him filming around the mirror and then stopping. "What?" She asked before her head tilted seeing trickles of something running out from behind it. The two exchanged a matching look, Carmen walking towards the doorway, whistling quietly, "There's a black light in the trunk, right?" Dean nodded, going out the window before a couple of minutes later the black light came through it as he followed in behind it. "You are so dramatic," Carmen remarked, keeping the door open for Sam. He carried the mirror out and onto Jill's bed and laid it upside down. Dean started to peel the brown paper off the back of it after throwing him the light. Shining the light over the back of the mirror revealing a handprint and two words, 'Gary Bryman'.

"Gary Bryman?"

Do you know who that is?" The youngest Winchester asked as Charlie shook her head. "No,"
