Washing off the shaver in the sink the placing it to the side, Steve was shown with a clean shave as he closed the water off. Cleaning off the parts of his face with a towel, he placed it beside him before looking at the mirror. He sighed before seeing the small mirror beside him start to shake. A heavy rumbling could be heard and he stopped the mirror from moving but then heard something come from outside. Placing on a shirt, him, Pepper, Bruce, Pietro, Bibi, Rocket, Eva, Natasha and Rhodes ran out to see who it was. The ship you, Tony, Nebula and Loki were on started to land by the help of Carol.

Nebula could be seen helping Tony out of the ship and as soon as Steve saw, he ran over quick to help with the rest of the way. Loki followed out with you in his arms. Pietro noticed and sped his way over, taking you into his own arms. "I'll take her." He told Loki. He passed Tony with you in his arms as Bibi and Eva went to check on you. Natasha as well. "Couldn't stop him." Tony told Steve. "Y/n tried too but it didn't work." Steve sighed lightly as he said "Neither could I." Tony stopped him as he said "Hang on. I lost the kid." Steve could see how much it weighed on the man.

"Tony, we lost." Steve told him. "Is, Uh...?" Tony started to ask referring to Pepper but she ran up to him. "Oh, good." He said in near tears. "Oh, my god!" She said "oh, my god." She said again as she hugged him and started to sob. He gave her a kiss on her cheek to reassure her as he said "it's okay." Steve went over to see if you were doing alright. When he got over to you, he saw that Pietro had managed to get you to stand up. "Y/n.." He said and when you saw him, you gave him a hug the best you could; which he gladly returned. "I couldn't save him.." you cried and he nodded his head. "I know." He told you as he pulled away. "Let's get you inside." Bibi told you as she offered a hand to you and you took it. Pietro was beside you, Loki trailing behind, Eva nearby as Natasha, Bruce and Rhodes could be seen checking on Tony. Rocket sat beside Nebula and patted her hand gently. She turned over her hand and held his. They tried to comfort each other.

"It's been 23 days since Thanos came to Earth." Rhodes said as a screen of all of the people who were placed as missing were being shown. "World governments are in pieces. The parts that are still working... are trying to take census and it looks like he did..." she paused and when you saw your boyfriend's face appeared on the screen, you looked down. Tony did as well when he saw your face afterwards. "He did exactly what he said he was gonna do. Thanks wiped out... 50% of all living creatures." Natasha finished. "Where is He now? Where?" Tony asked and you looked up. "We don't know. He just opened a portal and walked through." Steve admitted to Tony and Loki looked over at you. "We need to finish getting you treatment." He said and you didn't say anything for a minute but then nodded.

"What's wrong with him?" Tony asked when he saw the way Thor was sitting. "Oh, he's pissed. He thinks he failed." Rocket told Tony. You gestured towards Thor and Loki nodded and the two of you made you way over. "Which, of course he did but there's a lot of hat going around, ain't there?" Rocket could be heard adding on in the background. Knocking on the glass door Thor was in, he looked up and spotted both you and Loki. He also took in how you looked. Standing up, he walked over, opened the door and gave you a hug. "I feared you did not make it." He said softly before pulling away. He looked up at his brother and placed a hand on his shoulder, "glad you both did."

Loki told Thor he was going to help you get treatment and Pietro was waiting in the room for you. Nodding, Loki left with you as Thor sat back down. "Honestly, until this exact second I thought you were a Build-A-Bear." Tony told Rocket and Rocket replied by saying "Maybe I am." That's when Steve butted in. "We've been hunting Thanos for three weeks now. Deep space scans... and satellites, and we got nothing. Tony, you fought him." That's when Tony looked at him. "Who told you that? I didn't fight him. No, he wiped my face with a planet while the Bleecker Street magician gave away the store. That's what happened." Steve nodded as Tony continued. "There was no fight, 'cause he's not beatable." Steve looked at him and asked "Did he give you any clues, any coordinates, anything?"

Tony couldn't believe what he was hearing and sputtered "Uh... I saw this coming a few years back. I had a vision. I didn't wanna believe it. Thought I was dreaming." Tony said. "Tony, I'm gonna need you to focus." Steve said. "And I needed you. As in, past tense. That trumps what you need. It's too late, buddy. Sorry." Tony states and you could be heard crying when you got the news of Penelope and Brazen being killed during the fight and Wanda vanishing also. Pietro could be seen comforting you as he hugged you.

Tony sighed and continued on. "You know what I need?" I need a shave." He tumbled a few things on the table as he stood up. "And I believe I remember telling all youse..." He added as he started to rip off the IV cord. Rhodes tried to stop him. "Tony, Tony!" He said but Tony just kept at it. "...alive and otherwise, that what we needed was a suit of armor around the world. Remember that? Whether it impacted our precious freedoms or not. That's what we needed." Tony implied. "Well, that didn't work out, did it?" Steve said and Tony took a few steps towards Steve. "I said we'd lose. You said, 'We'll do that together, too.' And guess what, Cap? We lost. And you weren't there. But that's what we do, right? Our best work after the fact? Were the 'Avengers'. We're the 'Avengers,' not the 'Pre-vengers.' " Rhodes held him as he said "okay." Tony looked at him before looking right back at Steve. "Right?"

"You made your point. Just sit down, okay?" Rhodes tried telling him but he wasn't having it and tried to pushed Rhodes away. "Okay. No, no, here's my point. You know what?" Tony said and pointed towards Carol. "She's great by the way."

"Tony, you're sick. Sit down." Rhodes said. "We need you. You're new blood." Tony told Carol before finally pushing away from Rhodes and looking at Steve. "Bunch of tired old mules. I got nothing for you, Cap. I got no coordinates... no clues, no strategies, no options. Zero. Zip. Nada. No trust, liar." Tony's breath was shaky as he pulled off the piece on his chest and handed it to Steve. "Here, take this. You find him, you put that on... you hide." Tony added as he fell on his knees. "Tony!" Steve said. "I'm fine. Let me..." Tony started to say before completely falling on the ground. Carl helped him up and placed him in the medical bed. Pepper and Rhodes stayed with him.

Steve and Natasha got updates of how you were doing also by either Bibi, Eva or Loki. Rhodes came back in and told everyone, "Bruce gave him a sedative. He's gonna probably be out for the rest of the day." Steve looked down for a moment. "You guys take care of him... and I'll bring him a Xorrian elixir when I come back." Carol said as she started to walk away. "Where are you going?" Steve asked her. "To kill Thanos." She answered. "Hey." Natasha started to tell her, causing Carol to stop. "You know, we usually work as a team here.. and, Uh, between you and I, morale's a little fragile." She added on when she got face to face with Danvers. Steve was right behind Natasha.

"We realize up there is more your territory, but this is our fight, too." Steve implied. "You even know where he is?" Rhodes asked. "I know people who might." Carol said before Nebula quickly added in "Don't bother. I can tell you where Thanos is." Everyone looked up at her as they then all piled into the meeting room. "Thanos spent a long time trying to perfect me. And when he worked, he talked about his Great Plan. Even disassembled, I wanted to please him. I'd ask... where would we go once his plan was complete? And his answer was always the same." She then walked up to the table where the hologram would soon be projected as she added. "To the garden."

Rhodes made a face as he said "That's cute. Thanos has a retirement plan." Steve walked nearby Natasha as he asked "so, where is he?" That's when Rocket opened the hologram. "When Thanos snapped his fingers Earth became ground Zero for a power surge of ridiculously cosmic proportions. No ones ever seen anything like it. Until two days ago on this planet." He finished. "Thanos is there." Nebula spoke and Natasha went to speak as Steve walked behind her back to his original spot. "He used the stones again." She said and Thor could be seen eating nuts from a bowl as Banner started to talk. "Hey, Hey, Hey. We'd be going in shorthanded, you know?" He said. "Look, he's still got the stones, so.." Rhodes started to imply when Carol interrupted him by saying "so, let's get 'em."

"Use them to bring everyone back." She added. "Just like that?" Bruce questioned. "Yeah. Just like that." Steve said. "Even if there's a small chance that we can undo this... I mean, we owe it to everyone who's not in this room to try." Natasha replied. You came out of the room and started to speak. "The world has changed. None of us can go back. All we can do is our best, and sometimes the best that we can do, is to start over." Everyone nodded their heads at what you said and started to take in the good point you were making. That's when Bruce spoke up, "If we do this, how do we know it's gonna end any differently than it did before?"

"Because before you didn't have me." Carol quickly snapped back and you made a look at her. "Hey, new girl? Everybody in this room is about that superhero life. And if you don't mind my asking, where the hell have you been all this time?" Rhodes finally said. "There are a lot of other planets in the universe. And unfortunately, they didn't have you guys." She said and he looked at Steve as Steve gave a 'Yeah Alright' type of look. Thor noticed the look Steve had and stood up from his seat. Walking over to Carol, he stood face to face with her as he called for his axe. She didn't flinch and he noticed. He sighed before nodding his head. "I like this one." Was all he told them. "Let's go get this son of a bitch." Steve finally told everyone.
