Wedding gowns

"EDEN VERA DEVERAUX," Alice says, standing in front of the house entrance with her arms crossed, tapping her foot on the ground impatiently.

"Alice Cullen," Eden says as she gets out of the car, giving Alice a grin. "Well?" Alice asks impatiently.

"Let her get settled in first, love." Cordelia says as she walks towards them, "Eden, glad you're back,"

"Cordelia, still can't reign Alice in," Eden teases while Alice rolls her eyes with Cordelia smiling.

"It's in my suitcase, Alice, don't worry." Eden chuckles while shaking her head, while Alice claps happily while skipping towards her and giving her a tight hug, "I'm glad you're home,"

"Oh, we both know you just want the suitcase," Eden tells her while Alice pulls away with a 'humph' as she walks towards the trunk, grabbing the suitcase. Eden was assigned to pick up Bella's wedding gown while staying in France for about two weeks.

Alice randomly texted her Bella's measurements and told her also to get the boys tailored suits and new dresses for the girls to pick out.

It wasn't months when she received a wedding invitation from Edward, which led her to buy a ticket to Washington.

The wedding was in three weeks, which gave Eden plenty of time to help Alice plan.

"I haven't even met the bride-to-be, and Alice is already picking her wedding gown," Eden tells Rosalie, with the latter smiling at her, "You'll love her," A gentle voice says.

Eden looks forward and sees Carlisle, Thalia, Esme, and Christopher. "Ah, my lovely parents, here to welcome your favorite child,"

"Of course," Esme says, walking down the stairs, approaching Eden, and hugging her.

"Please, we all know that Edward is the favorite child," Christopher says with a grin, "Oh, he is. Because he remained a virgin for over a century, he deserves to be the favorite child." Emmett jokes while carrying Eden's suitcases.

"Speaking of Edward, where is he?" Eden asks, pausing, "No, let me guess, at Bella's?"

"He's been very clingy to Bella ever since Eloise talked to them about weddings," Thalia tells her, and Eden nods, "When are Eloise and Jasper arriving?"

"Next week, they were supposed to arrive tomorrow, but something came up with Eloise's schedule," Carlisle answers as Eden enters the house with Rosalie beside her. She immediately came to a halt when she saw the living room completely covered in fabrics, materials, and magazines.

She's not going to question it. It has Alice written all over it.

"Well then, let Bella come over and pick her dress, then we'll start officially turning our backyard into a wedding venue," Eden tells them as Emmett says, "We'll let the wedding planning to you and Alice. We'll sit this one out,"

Eden rolls her eyes, "Honey, the suits are in the grey suitcase. You wouldn't mind helping the boys with their suits. Make sure they don't accidentally rip the fabric while wearing them,"

They all know it was just an excuse to piss Emmett off. Eden knew their sizes since she was the one who always bought them when they needed new clothes. She was their source of newly dated fashion wear.

"Of course, honey," Rosalie says, grinning at Emmett, with him groaning as Rosalie walks up the stairs and into their room. The rest of the family started doing the tasks Alice assigned them, with Edward and Bella arriving.

As they walked towards the now organized living room, "Not even here to greet me, Edward, how rude of you," Eden said, not in their direction, as she hung the dresses on the rack. Bella looks at Edward, confused with him chuckling.

"Apologies, Eden," Edward tells her, with Eden turning around and crossing her arms with a bored look on her face. Her eyes then set on Bella, who was standing next to Edward, "Is this the man you want to marry? He's very rude,"

Bella then bites her lip anxiously, not really knowing what to say. It quite nerved her that Eden had red eyes that seemed familiar to her on how red it was. "Come on, Eden. We see each other every decade,"

"Yes, yes," Eden says with a dismissive wave of her hand, walking towards them and saying, "To be honest, I was getting tired of seeing your brooding face all the time,"

As she hugs Bella softly, then Edward, pulling away, she places both hands on the side of his face, "May I say it is not broody enough? How surprising, you smile now,"

Eden then looks at Bella, "Which is completely thanks to you. It was awful witnessing his tantrums whenever Rosalie and I had inappropriate conversations with him around,"

Bella then realizes, "You're Rosalie's wife?"

Eden's face brightens, "The one and only, hopefully, Edward has told you about me. Call me Eden."

"A bit," Bella answers shortly.

"A bit?" Eden offendedly asks, glaring at Edward, "I'm not giving you my gift." Eden says while walking away as Edward groans, "Oh, come on, Eden,"

"Come now, Bella, you have wedding gowns to try on," Eden beckons Bella to follow her to Alice's bedroom, with Alice already waiting as three wedding gowns are displayed in the mannequins.

Bella stood in awe at how beautiful the gowns were, "These are gorgeous,"

"Of course they are. I bought them in Paris from three famous designers," Eden proudly says. Working in the fashion industry, she knows how to pick them.

"And, of course, with matching heels, jewelry, and a veil," Alice says while opening two suitcases, displaying five pairs of white heels and two jewelry boxes, and placing the veil on the bed.

"You'll be doing a runway for us and testing these dresses with the heels and veil," Eden says as she releases her purple vapors, covering the walls in the room, and disappearing into thin air, while Bella looks at her shockingly.

"Safety measures so that Edward wouldn't get a slip off our thoughts." Eden says, with Bella just nodding, "There's only one problem,"

"What?" Alice asks worriedly while Bella fiddles with her fingers, "I don't know how to wear heels,"

That is going to be a problem.

"No worries, you'll have a few weeks to break them in," Eden assures as she takes the first wedding gown off the mannequin, guiding Bella to the bathroom. They waited a few minutes until Bella asked to be zipped up.

Bella walks towards the full-length mirror, wearing a minimalist crepe fit-to-flare wedding dress. The delicately embroidered cape sleeves balance out the gown's simple fitted silhouette. The sheer tulle back adds a bit of romance to the elegant gown.

"I love it!" Alice beams, her hand smoothing the silk fabric, picking a white thin pencil edge veil with flowers scattered sewed across the material, placing a pair of glittery white heels.

Bella tilts her head, looking at herself intently in the mirror. Eden says, "It's not your type, is it?"

Bella pursed her lips but nodded, "It's just the sleeve is a bit short and see-through for me,"

"That's okay, we have two more to go," Eden says, taking the second dress off the mannequin, with Bella taking off the shoes and Alice removing the veil from her head.

Bella then takes the second wedding dress and heads towards the bathroom, and they hear footsteps coming towards the room, Thalia and Esme.

Then a knock on the door, and Alice opens the door, "Don't mind us barging in," Esme tells them with a smile.

"We don't mind at all. We need more help helping the bride-to-be decide," Eden tells them with a smile. Bella then exits the bathroom, looking at Thalia and Esme, with them giving her encouraging looks.

She wore a dreamy simple modern wedding dress. The off-the-shoulder neckline flows into a gorgeous flared cape for an ethereal bridal look. The minimalist silhouette has a corset bodice and a gentle slit on the rear of the gown for ease of movement.

"You look lovely, Bella," Thalia says in awe, with Bella whispering a shy 'thanks.' Eden then places white lace-up heels beside her, and Alice places a single-tier veil on her head.

"That dress is wonderful, Bella. It's a winner for me," Esme tells her, looking at Bella adoringly.

"I'll try on the last dress," Bella says shyly, and Eden nods, with Bella taking the heels off and Alice taking the veil from her head.

Eden then hands Bella the last dress as she heads towards the bathroom, with the women deciding what to pair with the previous dress.

Bella exits the bathroom with a smile, a stunning silk dress cut on the bias featuring a mermaid-like silhouette, lace-trimmed long sleeves, and a sexy lace-trimmed illusion back fastened by a million buttons.

Heading towards the mirror, she smiles at Eden, "This is the dress,"

"Great choice, Bella," Eden tells her as she hands her a pair of white heels with diamonds in an intricate design as Thalia places a long veil on her head.

"That's a yes on the dress. Your only task now, Bella, is to learn to walk on heels." Alice tells her with a giggle.
