Now we are at Camphrier Town, we meet up with Shauna again. Shauna says, "Serena! I saw it! Your Pokevision Video! You and Fennekin have been awesome in that video that I've been a fan of ever since I saw it!"

"Oh, wow. Thanks." Serena is now slightly blushing. "So I guess you have your own videos as well?"

"Of course. I've made a whole bunch! Especially now with Bulbasaur." Shauna says. "But since you're here, have you heard this? Aria's going to do an exhibition performance at the Pokemon Showcase in this Camphrier Town!"

"Really? Aria is here. That's awesome." I say.

"Her Pokevision videos are great. Not to mention she's the top performer, the Kalos Queen!" Elline says.

"I can't wait to see her." Serena says.

In the theater, we are now sitting at the stands as they are going to watch how the Showcase is doing. Clemont says, "I can't wait to see all the Pokemon perform!"

"Will there be a bunch of different Pokemon?" David asks.

"Lots of them." Shauna says.

And it seems that both Samurott and Chespin pop out of their Pokeball as well as they want to watch as well, and we don't know what to say about them...

Just then, the lights are glowing and a man appears on the stage. He says, "Bonjours, Pokemon lovers, and welcome. I am your humble host, Monsieur Pierre. Prepare yourselves for a competition magnifique. And now, The Camphrier Town Pokemon Showcase will amaze starting things off with our Rookie Class Division."

Everyone cheers, and he says, "But first, our reigning Kalos Queen Mademoiselle Aria, has agreed to put on an exhibition performance for one and all."

Just then, Aria's Braixen appears and shows off its gracefulness. It goes for Fire Spin, and then Aria herself appears on the stage. Braixen throws the branch to Aria, who throws it back to Braixen, landing it on Braixen's head. Using Fire Blast, Aria and Braixen end the show.

"Another stunning performance from our Kalos Queen! Mademoiselle Aria!" Pierre says.

"Perfect!" "Such precise moves!" "She's so great!"

In my Scarlet form, I'm also backstage watching the performance, after Aria has finished, she approaches me and says, "And I wondering who it is, if it isn't Scarlet?"

I smirk back at her and says, "Good to see you again, Aria. I admit that is a nice performance."

"I don't think it is enough after all." Aria says. "But I am looking forward to seeing how you go in this showcase, considering you are her grandson who is able to be male or female at the same time."

I sigh as I remember how we met Aria once when our grandma showed her performances to us. And then we also reveal the truth of how we are Arceus and how we can have both genders to her. I say, "Right now I'm a girl, and my boy self is probably in the audience right now. Just so you know, my Pokemon and I have been training a lot, and I won't hesitate to hold back."

"Alors, now that everyone is all revved up and ready to go, let's finally begin with the theme performances!" Pierre says as everyone is surprised to see 3 giant screens and four arrows on the ground. Shauna says, "You see, Pokemon Showcases consist of two stages, this is the first stage, which is the Theme Performance. Each of them is different, like this one, it is the Step-Dancing Performance."

As we watch the 3 performers trying to keep up with the glowing arrows, David says, "Looks like the performers need to step on these arrows so that they can get a score for each one...it really shows the balance and the quick reacting."

Clemont says, "That sure is going to be very tiring..."

After three rounds are over, the fourth round begins and then they see someone familiar, and Shauna says, "That's Scarlet Ketchura! She's in the Showcase as well?"

"No way! It really is her!" Clemont says as the others are shocked to see the one who managed to beat Aria in the PokeVisions is also attending.

Serena turns to me and says, "You know about this?"

I say, "I did tell you that right now Scarlet and I are different people, right? I was hoping that she will show up, but it seems that she knows what I'm thinking."

"And the winner is...Performer Scarlet!" Pierre says, "Who gets the full combo score without any tripping or distracting!"

Everyone in the crowd is cheering for Scarlet, and some of them are muttering that Scarlet might be the one to dethrone Aria from the Kalos Queen, but the others have different opinions.

"Looks like Scarlet is going to win this for sure." Elline says.

David says, "I really hope to see the match between Aria and Scarlet, but that is if Scarlet gets all 3 Princess Keys."

After the first round is over, the second round is the Freestyle Performance. And since I'm the last one to shine, I'm getting made up in the dressing room.

"A Perfect Score, I never knew you were this balanced." Aria says to me, and I smile, "What? Are you thinking of me as a clumsy person? There is a reason I beat you in the PokeVision."

"You're right about that." Aria sighs.

Just then, we notice a commotion on the screen, and a wild Pancham is going on stage.

"What is this about? A Pancham has suddenly broken in?"

Aria and I look at the screen with confusion, and Scarlet says, "At least nobody was injured...I wouldn't want someone to interfere with my performance."

"Looks like we're thinking the same thing." Aria sighs.

After a while, it is finally Scarlet's turn to shine, as she goes for her own Glaceon, and they create a perfect ice show. In the end, Scarlet is the one who wins the performance and she earns her first Princess Key.

Once we are outside, I say, "Too bad it ended early."

"But at least we got to see Aria and Scarlet's performance. That Glaceon of hers is wonderful." Shauna says.

"Both of them are completely in sync with their Pokemon! That's so fantastic!" Serena says, and others are showing their opinion.

"Ash! Serena! Guys!" We notice Scarlet rushing up to us, and I say, "Scarlet! It's nice to see you again."

Scarlet shushes and says, "Not too loud, Ash. You do know that the crowd will be watching us."

"Sorry. But your performances are so great." David says.

"Indeed. And congrats on your win." Elline says.

"Why thank you." Scarlet says, "With this, I just need two more keys so that I can settle the score with the Kalos Queen."

Shauna says, "I'm Shauna and I'm a big fan of yours! Your Glaceon is so awesome. Both you and Aria gave me a lot of ideas for the Pokemon Showcase performance!"

"Oh? So you're going to be a part of it?" Scarlet asks.

"But I still have a lot of work to do." Shauna says. "I'll be heading back to the Pokemon Center, so I'll see you soon."

After she leaves, Scarlet turns to Serena, "What about you? I'm sure you want to take part of it, right?"

"I... I don't know..." Serena frowns.

"Just think about it. Well, I also need to go as well, if you want to face Aria, you will have to beat me as well, after all, only the winner gets to challenge Aria's title. And I'm going at it too."

Before Scarlet leaves, she whispers to me, "Also, it seems like Aria has some sort of feelings for you as well..."

I slightly groan and say, "Really? You're telling me this?"

Then she leaves without saying more. Then we turn to see Chespin trying to mimic Aria's Braixen's performance. But then a stick hits him and we notice that it's the Pancham who ruins the stage, who is also dancing on top of the sign.

"That's the Pancham who crashed the show." Clemont says.

Then Chespin is angered by his taunting, and he tries to chase after him. "Chespin! Where are you going?"

Then we decide to split into three groups, Serena and I, and the other two sets of siblings. When we search for the Pancham, we find that he's dancing in front of a lake with Clemont's glasses and David's cap.

I say, "Serena, do you think what I'm thinking?"

"Yeah. Pancham wants to perform..." Serena says.

Then we try to approach the Pancham and we try to have a talk to him. But when we find his hiding spot, we find a lot of things that are stolen.

"Pancham, have you been gathering up all of these things for your performances?" I ask. "You shouldn't steal other people's things."

Serena says, "But if you promise me you'll stop stealing, I'll give you these." Serena takes out a pair of sunglasses and Pancham wears them, but Pancham gets scared easily and runs off.

When we chase after him, we find that the other four have found Chespin and also surrounding the Pancham.

"Guys, hold on a second!" Serena says, "Step aside, we wanna catch that Pancham!"

This causes surprise to everyone, and Bonnie asks, "Why do you want to do that?"

"When we find that Pancham near its cave, we discovered that it likes to perform." I say as I return the items back to them.

"After it took them, Pancham was using them as props while it practiced performing near a lake. We know why it crashed the Pokemon Showcase: Pancham wanted everybody to see what a good performer it is."

Pancham blushes a little before turning away, Serena says, "And you have the most adorable smile I've ever seen. So, am I right?"

Pancham tries to walk away, and Serena says, "I know I want to do. I wanna be a Pokemon performer, like Aria and Scarlet. With Pancham as our partner. Pancham? I'd like to catch you!"

Fennekin also seems to be pumped up as we decide to have a battle. Pancham starts with Dark Pulse, though Fennekin jumps, dodging it and using Flamethrower on Pancham. Pancham uses Arm Thrust, hitting Fennekin, who retaliates with another Flamethrower. Pancham avoids the attack and uses Arm Thrust once more, though Fennekin hits it with Hidden Power. Serena uses a Poké Ball to catch Pancham, but Pancham bursts out immediately.

"Looks like that's not enough..." I say. "Just don't give up and keep battling hard."

Serena nods as Fennekin uses Flamethrower and Hidden Power on Pancham, weakening it, and this time it is captured.

Pancham: The Playful Pokemon: Fighting Type. It does its best to be taken seriously by its enemies, but its glare is not sufficiently intimidating. Chewing on a leaf is its trademark.

Serena then says, "I'm going to do my best to become a Pokemon performer like Aria. And someday I'll become Kalos Queen!"

Serena then puts her red sunglasses on Pancham, and we are also happy to see Pancham willing to help Serena out.

Now I put this chapter early on because Pancham is supposed to be captured on Route 5, and there are a lot of other things I've planned with Shauna in the next chapter which is related to the game. I hope you like this chapter.
