After Serena arrives at the jail, she manages to get permission to visit her "so-called" friends, who are sitting in the cell. All of them couldn't believe that they have been found out for their murder, or that they are getting death sentences despite their young age.

Every one of them has sacrificed Delia's life, and it was all for nothing, and in the process, destroyed everything they have worked so hard for. It's all over for them. They have seen the evidence that had ruined them, it was the conversation with Golly. They can't believe that Ash has 5 siblings and he has been hiding the truth from them, Golly's mother is also Ash's mother, meaning that she is also doing this for revenge. They now hope that a miracle can save them.

Just then, they hear footsteps and all of them look to see who it is. It is Serena, accompanied by a policewoman. "Serena!" Everyone gasp as she has come, but they flinch after seeing her face.

"I can't believe you guys! You made it very clear years ago that it was Ash who killed his own mother and I trusted you!" Serena says with a glare.

"What can we say? We didn't want to be found out. We wanted to stay out of jail." Misty says.

"We had families to take care of as well." Brock admits.

"So you have no remorse for what you've done?" Serena asks angrily.

"It's true that we did kill Delia, but we didn't antagonize the Elites, or try to rape Ash to get him to listen to you." Trip says. "That was all you. You didn't hear him out before ordering him to be taken in for questioning."

"Shut up." Serena clenches her fists. "You were the one who plan all of this. And you have the nerve to involve all of his friends."

"But friends should help friends, it's no different." Iris says.

"You were supposed to be the Champion!" Serena glares at Iris. "But then again, I am just here because I have some things to tell you. First, even though I didn't commit a crime, but the fact that I made Ash and the others miserable, I decided to resign my role as the Kalos Queen."

"What? You resign your role as the Kalos Queen?" Dawn gasps in shock.

"After all, not only your Unova Champion role, but my Kalos Queen role also helped you to get to where you were. Now that it is gone, your achievements would be as good as null."

"But..." Mallow decides to say, but Serena says, "Nothing matters anymore. I can't help you anymore, I won't be able to overturn your sentence handed to you. So you should get in touch with your families and say your goodbyes or something."

"But surely, what about Cynthia and Leon? They supported you, right?" Brock asks.

"They suffered worse than me considering that they are Champions, I heard they have lost their positions as well. But there is no point." Serena says.

"I mean there's no point in helping when you're the ones who have ruined everything." Serena says in a cold tone. "I went out of my way to help all of you with your careers, but it hasn't done right for me at all. I don't understand why you would like to hide your own crimes and walk as if nothing happened? You were willing to kill someone and frame another. Not to mention, portray yourselves as the victims. Did you actually think I wouldn't be upset once I realize that?"

"Serena, we...she wasn't supposed to die, we...we didn't want our lives to be ruined, so..." Clemont says.

"Did you ever consider the possibility that when you got found out, it would be even worse, or were you hoping that Ash would be falsely convicted for your crime?" Serena asks.

"That wasn't supposed to happen. We were sure of it. Ash himself wasn't exactly innocent by that point." Brock says slowly.

"Really? You keep saying that, but look what it gets you." Serena turns around and prepares to leave, "This is the last time I'm going to see you, and I hope you have your lives in hell."

Once Serena nods at the officer, they leave as the traitors are screaming in horror that even Serena refuses to help them out.

Ash and his family are now looking at the coffin where his mother is staying, after they have redressed her and cleaned her, she could've just been sleeping inside. The ones who attended the funeral are the Sevestar leaders, Pallet Town residents, Professor Oak, and some of his friends.

"My mother lived a life in the darkness, but she has been guiding me in the light for the rest of her years." Ash says. "Thank you, Mother. For everything."

"Ever since we are just three when we were separated, we have never met until we heard the news of the demise. We really wanted to spend more time with you..." The other Ketchum siblings are also sad as each of them speaks about their roles. The International Police decide to overlook the crimes that she has committed because of Arceus' interference, much to their delight, and Adam also reveals the fact that he's the father of Ash Ketchum and the wife of Delia, which is one of the surprising turns of events.

Serena was watching the whole scene from the hotel room, noticing how Ash is sad about his mother's death, it just makes her guiltier considering that she didn't believe Ash. She can't help but wonder how much sadness has Ash kept in his heart during these years, but then she remembers another person, Alice.

At the funeral, she realizes that the bullies that made Alice suffer were killed at the hands of Delia, so the question she asked back in Solanet Town was meant for nothing. The only good thing about this whole event is the fact that the traitors are executed. They pay for their crimes in the end and they aren't going to frame others again.

"Are you sure it is fine, brother?" Hop asks his brother Leon, who is packing his stuff as he's about to leave the region. Leon says, "I made a really big mistake, and I guess this is what I deserved."

"But every one of us really thought that Ash did kill his mother." Hop says. "You were also being deceived by those people."

"But that doesn't give me the right to abuse the Galar Champion's power to do such a thing. Just like what Ash and the other Champions have reminded me, I have become too cocky. Maybe I was just scared that Ash would one day defeat me."

"But he did defeat you, even though he has to use a disguise back then." Gloria replies. "So now that you lost your Champion title, what are you going to do then?"

"Maybe I'll get back to work in the battle tower." Leon says, "Or managing the Galar Star Tournament."

"I guess so..." Hop says, "I really hope you could see my battle..."

"I'm sorry, Hop." Leon says.

At the same time, Cynthia is also talking to her elites about her leaving. Cynthia says, "I really think I don't deserve to be the Champion now that everything has happened."

"Cynthia..." Aaron says with concern.

"I have been friends with Dawn, Iris, and Cilan for a long time, maybe that's why I wouldn't see through their act...Ash was a good boy and I have framed him to be a murderer."

The first one is about his life during these 5 years, the second is about Ash's mother and her assassin life, the third one is if they can handle being prince and princess of the two regions, and the fourth one is about the traitors' death, the fifth one is resigned of several important figures, like Serena, Cynthia, and so on.

The sixth question is about their wedding, the seventh question is about the League inspection since they are going into the Elite Four and Champion inspecting. The eighth question is about what they're going to do after the wedding and everything is done. The ninth question is about Ash and Adam's father-and-son relationship, and the tenth question is about forgiveness.

Ash and Alice are annoyed at the constant questions and they have the urge to have Glaceon and Pikachu freeze or shock them. But they don't care as they are now alone in the room, with nobody else to bother them.

Alice says, "Ash, who are you going to battle during the 4 inspections?"

"I got Maylene, Raihan, Shauntal, and my Dad. I can beat the first three, however, my Dad might be troublesome." Ash says. "What about you?"

"I got Roxanne, Mom, Officer Nanu, and the last one is quite a surprise, Serena." Alice says. "I mean, the order was decided before the League Inspection begins."

"Well, all the traitors were arranged to battle our 18 leaders, so it was a good thing that Eve, Mark, or Drandon don't need to do some changes because of the execution." Ash says. "However, are you going to destroy Serena as you've meant to?"

"She wasn't actually a battler, so I might be able to hold back a little." Alice says. "By the way, has she tried to talk to you today?"

"No, she seems to be avoiding me." Ash sighs. "I can't blame her because of what she had done."

"I see..." Alice says, "By the way, how about the 18 Infinity Gems? What are you going to do with them?"

Ash says, "Those Infinity Gems are powerful, but they aren't supposed to fall into the wrong hands. I have Meloetta, Keldeo, Ho-oh, Eternatus, Zygarde, Diancie, Genesect, Marshadow, Jirachi, Victini, Manaphy, Shaymin, Zeraora, Mew, Kyurem, Rayquaza, Zarude, and Magearna take the gems away and sealed them so that nobody will be able to find them."

Alice kisses him on the cheeks and she asks, "Ash, are you sure that it is the right choice to make?"

Ash smiles at his fiancee and he says, "Those gems are more trouble than their worth, and quite honestly, I've had enough trouble for a lifetime."

"That may be true." Alice says. "I am glad that you accepted me, we both had rough pasts, but the truth that we couldn't forget about our love proves that we still want to be together."

"You're right." Ash says as Alice rests her head on Ash's shoulder as they wait for the others to come back to the castle.
