I stopped viewing my body
as the enemy
a long time ago

It no longer matters
if it's too thin
or too fat
by society standards

I no longer view my body
as a prison
here to keep me in

I no longer view my body
as a different
entity

My body is not an alien
My body is me
And my body is mine
