I say that, but the thing I was so focused on wasn't his face. It was a red, slightly glowing crystal, dangling from his neck, right next to his mage saint pendant.

Jose: well, then, I must thank you for providing me with all this entertainment. I've had my fill.

By pushing Erza out of the way, I had to take the entire blow head on, and one could see the sky through the hole where my guts used to be...

Jose: A shame indeed. In the end, even as a dragon, with your friends lies your biggest weakness. Even though I had to empty that crystal to finally get rid of you, now both you and it are completely useless to me.

With one last blast, I was thrown out of the giant, disappearing under the lake's surface, followed closely by that empty crystal. And soon, darkness invaded my vision and my mind.

3rd Person POV:

Natsu: Was... Was that Y/n ?!

Gajeel: You see ? Your guild, your friends, everything has been reduced to dust now. Let it go, it's over.

Happy: Natsu's... He can't fight like that...

Lucy: I... I can't take anymore of this...

Happy: The Jupiter canon, the Element four... He's used up too much of his magic ! If he had some fire to eat, he'd definitely kick your ass !

Sagittarius: ... I see... It seems there may have been something of a misunderstanding. When you asked me if I could produce fire, the obvious answer to that question was "No". However... It would appear that the issue is not whether I can produce fire, but whether or not I can help generate it.
