Both their attention was drawn to the calm surface of the lake below us. Surface that couldn't be called "calm" anymore, considering the massive maelstrom that just formed in it.

The water that prevented Erza's skewering reformed itself, and flew away, directly toward the vortex, and disappeared into the depths of the lake.

Soon, the maelstrom stopped too, and silence filled the area.

Jose: ... Well, whatever it was, it ended. So, Titania, where were we again-

He was cut, when a massive light appeared, at the exact same place as the vortex, soon followed by a constant stream of bubbles. It lasted for a few moments, before everything exploded.

In a blinding, deep blue flash, a humongous geyser, as tall as the mechanical giant, rose from the lake, and near its top, a humanoid form could be seen...

The geyser opened, and everyone could see, when he stepped out, that there was no traces of the hole in his guts remaining. But something has changed about him. His eyes, that until now has been glowing with a bloody red power, were now completely blue. The same blue that was illuminating the geyser... And the same blue emanating from that crystal he was tightly gripping.

Jose: I... IMPOSSIBLE !!! How could you be still alive !!

Y/n: Hydro...

After blasting away a good portion of their guild with that attack, I finally started to make my way toward them, small lumps of water forming in midair under my feet for every step I took.

Erza: Y.. Y/n... is that really you ? What happened ?

"You'll have to thanks Gray for that. I believe he fought the element 4 that use water magic, right ? The water and his ice got mixed with the lake's water, charging it with magic."

"That say, I'll have to thank you, Jose. If you haven't thrown the empty crystal along my body, I'd definitely be dead now."
