"Hey Parker." Y/n smirked when he opened the door to his apartment. "Ned said he'd meet up with us at the mall."

"Ok cool." Peter replied looking over his shoulder, "bye may love you." He called out to which she had yelled back a goodbye.

"So the movie starts at ten and right now it's 9:05 so we have plenty of time."

"Yeah, we can go get ice cream or something." He suggested and she agreed.

Y/n Ned and Peter walked out of the theatre after the movie discussing how good they thought it was, "I still think that actor looked a lot like Thor." Peter pointed out and y/n nodded in agreement.

"Yeah it was kinda creepy.." Ned added.

"Did anyone else realize that Tessa Thompson looked a lot like Valkyrie?"

"Who's Valkyrie?" Asked Ned confused and y/n and peter glanced at each other. "She's someone from that battle with Thanos that I told you about."

"She lives in new Asgard." Peter added, gravitating closer towards y/n without realizing it. "She's super cool she has this unicorn-"

"It's a Pegasus." Y/n corrected.

"Whoa I didn't even know those existed!" Ned exclaimed excitedly, "that's awesome."

"Yeah..I got to ride it." Peter whispered.

"You sat on it for point three seconds when slinging around." Y/n laughed and peter nodded.

"A ride is a ride." And y/n scoffed looking to Ned, who was still deeply amazed with the fact that his two friends had seen a real life Pegasus. "It was cool though." Peter said, "it was really pretty."

Y/n smiled continuing to tell Ned about their experience with the avengers battling Thanos and with each word Ned seemed to get even more excited.

The group had left the mall and were walking down the sidewalk now, further more discussing any avengers stories, "and then," y/n continued her story "Natasha and Hawkeye told me-"

But then her voice began to feel blurred and distant to Peter and he heard a familiar ringing go off in his ears, his temples began to hurt as his head throbbed. He froze in his tracks looking around the street and began noticing little things like the mosquitos that were flying across the street and the conversations people were having from inside the passing cars with rolled down windows. "Peter?" Y/n asked turning around to look at the boy. She was at least six feet ahead of her while Ned was just now crossing the street. Peter glanced at her, still looking around and listening to the now very loud city noise surrounding him and the strong smells coming from every direction.

"Somethings wrong." He explained still not moving. "I can sense it." Then he took notice to a small sound coming from where y/n was standing and noticed little cracks forming from under her, "y/n get out of the way!" He yelled, beginning to run towards her.

"What?"

And just then there came a loud rumbling and the ground under her crumbled in a flash Peter was beside her pulling her out of the way and the two fell next to a stand that displayed various magazines. The ground where she had been standing split open sending pieces of concrete into the air, which Peter blocked y/n from with his arms, a gigantic lizard at least ten feet tall emerged from the hole in the ground, clawing around to climb out. Screaming filled the streets as people began to scramble around to get away from the beast and y/n sat frozen on the ground with her mouth hanging open. The lizard took one look at her and Peter before eyeing the Oscorp building then it dropped down on all fours and ran towards it. "What was that?!" Y/n screeched.

Peter looked across to the other street to where Ned was standing in shock, "Ned go!" Peter yelled waving his arm around. Ned didn't need to be told twice, as he disappeared into an alley.

"Was that a lizard!?" Y/n screeched from the ground and Peter pulled her to her feet as she stared into the direction that the creature had ran to.

"Y/n you have to leave." Peter told her glancing backwards, his words were on her shoulders and his eyes held a panic to them.

"Wh-"

"It's not safe here." He told the girl, "go home."

"And leave you to fight a ten foot reptile?" She asked, "I can help."

"You can help by going home, I don't want you getting hurt, plus Mr. stark will kill me."

"Peter I can help you that thing is huge, it just ripped the sidewalk apart!"

"Just go!" Peter told her and he took off in the direction the lizard went, "I'll check in with you later, I promise!"
