The last thing you remembered was seeing a car getting closer to you.

Everything became pitch black after that.

"Y/N?" A pause. "Y/N?!"

The voice continued to yell your name. You wanted to answer. You wanted to tell them you were okay but deep down you knew. You knew you had moved on...

After what seemed like an hour of the voice begging, you could finally open your eyes.

The sky was a dark grey, and it was chilly. The trees had no life, all black and leafless.

You slowly sat up and glanced around. "H-hello?" You called out, but from fear you were too quiet.

"Y/N?"

You turned around and blinked. "Boo?"

Indeed it was Boo. A ghost friend of yours.

"Y/N... you're dead?" He asked you, an expression of shock on his face.

You looked at yourself and blinked. You were a ghostly white. "Y-yeah... I am."

Boo bit back a smile. He didn't want to smile but then he did because it meant the two of you could hang out in public now.

Before you couldn't since Boos weren't accepted in Toad Town. So, the two of you would always meet up at the edge of the Dark Forest.

"So, now that I'm... dead..." It felt odd saying that. "What do I do now?"

"Well, we'll have to visit King Boo so he can register you. I'll lead the way."

He began to float off. You expected to walk normally but instead you floated. Your legs were replaced by a ghostly tail instead. "Huh..."

You looked up from your tail and noticed Boo was gone.

"Boo? Boooo?" You called, glancing around. You lost him. "Shroom..."

You slowly began to float in the direction you saw him go. You had only gone to King Boo's mansion only once, so the path to it was unfamiliar.

"Booooo?" You kept calling out. You noticed the clouds were getting darker the further you ventured.

This made you deal uneasy, so you stopped right there. Then, you felt a chill up your... 'spine.'

"PEEK A BOO!"

You shrieked loud, making the trees slightly shake. You turned and got upset, seeing it was Boo.

"BOO! That's scared me!" You said angrily while he laughed.

"Oh come on, Y/N. That was hilarious. Your reaction was-"

"Sh!" You turned away, folding your arms.

Boo sighed. "Okay... let's go to King Boo."

He floated ahead, making sure you followed this time. You bit back a giggle and eventually kissed his cheek.

A bright red blush dusted his face. "Gosh Y/N..."

"Kiss-A-Boo!~"
