"Kendal, c'mon! Let's go!"

"Neo, leave her be!"

"Thank you, Karma!"

"You three, be quiet!"

A group of girls, all friends from a very young age, run through the woods behind Kendal's childhood home, playing a game of cops and robbers, despite all being at least nineteen years old. A brown-haired blue-eyed girl by the name of Kendal, a dark brown-haired brown-eyed girl named Neo, a blonde-haired hazel-eyed girl named Karma, and a red-haired brown-eyed girl named Jen are the team of robbers.

"Guys, we need to be quiet. Do you want Lauren, Emma, and Neko to get us?" Jen asks, referring to the other three girls in their friend group who are playing as the cops. Karma, Kendal, and Neo shake their heads and proceed to shut their mouths. "Okay, good, now we need to get back to your house, Kendal. That's what we set as the base, right?" The blue-eyed girl nods and proceeds to lead her team through the woods.

After a few minutes, a cry is heard and suddenly three other girls surround the robbers. A black-haired dark brown-eyed girl wearing a grey cat ear headband named Neko, a strawberry blonde-haired green-eyed girl named Emma, and a light brown-haired dark brown-eyed girl named Lauren also known as the cops. The robber girls share a look, confirming that they are thinking the same thoughts, then take off running with the other group trailing close behind. "This way!" Neo shouts, trying to keep her group from getting caught. Kendal yelps as Lauren comes close to tackling her to the ground. Soon enough, the robbers managed to lose their tail, but they don't recognize the section of the woods they're in.

"I think we need to call off the game. We're clearly lost." Karma says, her companions agreeing with her. "Guys! The games off! We're lost!" Karma calls into the woods, hoping her other friends hear her. The cops, who had been extremely close by, heard her and sighed. They enter the small clearing that Kendal, Karma, Neo, and Jen stopped in. "How are we lost? We weren't that far from Kendal's place." Emma says. "Clearly, we were. Tell me, Emma. Do you recognize this side of the woods? You spent just as much time in here as me, if not more, considering you're my cousin." Kendal sasses.

The strawberry blonde looks around and shakes her head. Each girl pulls out their phone only to find it without service. With a groan, the group begins to wander around, hoping to find their way back home. After a long (and when I say long, I mean LOOOOOOOONG) time, they emerge from the woods, in the shadow of a mountain. "Maybe if we go up, we can get some service." Neko suggests. The group shrugs and begins to ascend the mountain. "Kendal, it's getting dark." Lauren jokingly whines to her girlfriend. "It's okay, sweetie. I'll protect from the darkness." Kendal says, playing along. "Hey, lovebirds! Get a room!" Jen teases. The three girls burst out laughing, drawing chuckles from the others.

"Did you guys hear that?" Neo asks. The group silences and there it is. A small noise. Almost sounds like... Growling...? Suddenly, a rabid wolf springs from the shadows. Without even thinking, the girls take off running towards the peak of the mountain with the wolf close on their tail. "Cave!" Kendal shouts, causing the group the run towards it. Neo and Jen start to try to close off the entrance, but the wolf bursts through before they can even start. The group slowly backs up, the wolf herding them to the back wall. "Uh, guys? There's a giant hole right behind us." Karma says. "If I'm dying, it's on my own accord!" And with that, Kendal jumps down the hole, her short, Markiplier-like hair slightly streaming behind her. The other girls share a look before jumping in after her, leaving behind a wolf that wonders why those humans were so dumb as to willingly jump into the kingdom of monsters.
