It was dusk
All the lights glitterd making the water sparkle in it's motion..

Admist the immensely marvelous golden lit roads the cars were moving

We were going towards the beautifully.lit resort and currently I was sitting in Umar's car and Daud almost dosed off at the back seat.

I had quickly changed my shoes in the other car thanks to sana .even she was shocked to hear that I will go with him
I had thousands of excuses but the fact he had asked from my mother forced me..

Even now when I think of it .
It seems unbelievable that my mother has allowed

His car was completely black with tinted windows which urged me to slide the window a little as i was feeling trapped..

However one thing kept disturbing me through out that wouldn't all think why I am going with him and no one else is there.

.But Than everyone acted so casual .

"Areesha will you not ask me" Umar brought me back from my thoughts

Uh..yeah I answered

He glanced back to see Daud was fully asleep laying on the comfy seat behind..

"Those people are my father's enemy" I started

"Yeah" he nodded

"Close the window he ordered the air is to cool it's disturbing me"

Hesitantly but I did

"Why ?what has my father done to them!.
I asked continuing the topic

"Amjad uncle and your father had a group in there university life
They always used to travel together on adventures and long trips".He started looking at me

"There were basically best friends"

"One of them called Arshad his parents had some property quarrels within there family

They were not very rich so every time when they used to go in the court the other side of the family used to buy the judge and the final decision would always be in favour of opposite side" he explained taking a turn

"Oh than?" I asked

"So, he asked his friends to help him and planned together they will demand for his rights by scaring them

"They all agreed including your father and amjad uncle
they went together and demanded Arshads family right But they denied so they threatened the opponents son to fight against them"

"He was the only son of there family so they backed out and gave them what they deserved."

"That's a good thing right" I asked.

"Hmm it was Arshad was ecstatic that his poor family was given their right.
And there friendship grew more stronger".

"Than?" I asked not quite getting the real problem

"Than" he looked at me "his uncle who was there enemy had planned something that they all wasn't aware of.."

"Oh" I whispered

"Soon one by one they got married and had children they all used to hang out even there families"

"Only these three friends were left together others moved to different states."

"As you know amjad uncle was a close family friend. So yours and uncles family was more closer .."

"Arshad's uncle came and apologized to his family and they all forgave after a certain time considering that he has learnt his lesson.".

I was so engrossed in the story that a sudden honk jolted me making Umar smirk

"You get scared easily" he pointed making me shift in my seat

Beside there was Ahmad bhais car..
They were honking at each other trying to race..

"Than" I asked coming to the point

"Yeah than there family got reunited with there opponents..But slowly his evil uncle started to fill his ears regarding his friend 's and gradually they started getting apart"

"Oh no" i said making Umar look at me .

"Phir.Than"

"Arshad uncle had one daughter and one son .."

"One day his uncle called your father somewhere saying that Arshad has met with an accident.."

"Your father and Amjad uncle haphazardly went there but there was Arshad uncles son lying dead his evil uncle had killed him

"ALLAH" I gasped

"They tried to help his son to take him to the hospital but on the cue his uncle came with him and lied that they killed his son."Umar said making my eyes pop out

"Uff..."

"Arshad uncle was broken he believed his uncle and saw your father and uncle as a culprit.".

"He didn't had any pure evidence to prove this so he couldn't go to court"

"They tried to tell him the truth but he didn't listen and promised to make there life a mess"

"How cruel" I voiced.

"Hmm" he nodded switching on the heater

"I guess this is the most longest conversation we had so far" he orated

"Uh..mm So after that" I asked ignoring his previous comment

"Than slowly Arshaf uncle managed to poison grannys heart towards Amjad uncle we don't know.how but she somehow believed him that they are mixed in a certain gang.."

"What a gang" I asked shocked

"Yup" he replied bringing his hands dangerously close to mine

Making me clutch the belt tightly.

"Areesha give me the usb from the dashboard" he pointed..making me internally sigh

"Continue please" I said keeping the usb in the cup holder instead of giving him which earned me a glare.

"Granny made a vow from your father not to meet Amjad uncle she didn't listen to any of the pleas "he continued

"And IN that way they got apart for fourteen years.."

"So that's how" i voiced

"No one knew that Arshad uncle is behind this.."

He connected the usb

"He wasn't finished yet after seven years of filling grannies ear he made her believe we have no idea how but that your father killed someone "

"How can dadi believe it" I asked bewildered

"No idea maybe his uncle" he shrugged

"She broke off with your family and instructed all his siblings never to meet him if they want to see there mother alive"

"Oh no " my hand flew to my mouth

"your father was so furious of being accused of something he didn't do that he promised that he will never come back "

"Untill granny got to know the truth that his evil uncle on his death bed told granny everything.."

"Oh !! Shukar" I breathed

"Than granny called your father and apologized Many times. "

"You father slowly did started talking to granny but didn't agreed to come here".

"But granny somehow managed to make your father agree"

"Oh I see"

"But arshad uncle is back he is not able to digest that we all are together again.."

"What he can do now" I asked panicked.

"I don't know nothing actually. He won't even try to do anything in public and at home we are safe".He looked at me

"Alhumdulilah" I whispered.

"Is there anything more"'i tilted my head .

He shook his head "that was enough for you to know" he honked the car.

" I told you as I said..now how was your journey with me" he smirked making my heart beat faster

"When will we reach?" I asked looking ahead.

"What's the rush?" He said playing the song..

Making the rest of 2 minutes drive utterly uncomfortable

Sitting in the lobby we all girls were admiring the lavish resort.

Furnished with luxurious furniture with a touch of warm and cozy atmosphere..

Brimming lanterns were lit and hung all around the entrance making it stand out.

A huge iced sculptured chandelier glimmering from above.

It's was splendid..

"I love it! hina api spoke mesmerized

"Mee to" I replied

Daud 's head jerked making me look at him he was to tired

"Just two minutes Daud we will get our room soon" I combed his hairs with my fingers

"Hmm" he nodded tired.

"Areesha here this The card to yours and Sana's room" Ahmad bhai handed the card..
"It's 402 ",

"Okay" I nodded handing sana the card.

"Wait go with Amir and Daniyal they have the same floor" Ahmad bhai instructed.

"We all have rooms on different floors" Kiran api frowned.

"Yeah depending on the availability" he nodded.

Soon all got the keys and we headed towards our rooms

Umar couldn't share and wanted the separate room which he luckily didn't got on the same floor..

Sudden harsh knocks jolted me from the peaceful sleep..

I abruptly sat and looked towards the door which didn't seized banging.

If it would have been any family member they could have called or at least voice there names from out .

"Sana" I whispered

"Mmmm" she hummed

"Sana please wake up" I touched her arm..

"Who is knocking" she asked as opened her eyes

" don't knowI" I trembled

"someone outside is constantly knocking the door" I added eyeing the door

I looked at sana who sat up equally terrified..

"Who it can be" I whispered afraid.

"I don't know "she whispered .back

And knocks were continous

"Sana!" I shivered

"What ?"

"The door is not locked" I whispered petrified

"What!!" her eyes enlarged

"Oh my ALLAH
One tug and the person will be in" she said frantically

It was 2 am

"Wait I will call Amir his room is beside us" sana said taking her phone in her shivering hands.

I looked at Daud and prayed that he may not wakeup now

"H heelo A amir the e r re is someone outside our door constantly knocking please come" she stuttered

"Stay on the phone I am coming" I heard him through the phone..

And in the few moments a loud bang and constant shouts were heard

It was Amir's voice

While me and sana huddled close together almost shivering..

It was a new place and we were alone

No mom or dad..

Amir knocked the door saying its him

"Come in" sana shouted

We stood up and went towards him as he came in

He was frowning

"Who was it" I whispered

"A stupid idiot man who forgot his room number" he growled..making me hide behind sana who exhaled thankfully..

"We were So scared".sana said..

"Why was the Door not locked!!" he shouted
Making me hide more behind sana

"I I w w e forgot" sana stuttered

"Is this a thing to forget huh!
You are in a hotel not in a house that you easily forgot there could have been anyone"

"I can't believe you didn't locked the door.."

"Where is the common sense" he flared .

Making my eyes water..

"Areesha come out" Amir pointed

"Never do that again okay.".

He sighed

"I am sorry I just got to worried my anger took a toll on me" he apologized raving his hands through his hairs

"No Amir we deserved it" sana said

"No we didn't "I whispered making them chuckle..

"Areesha are you crying" sana asked.

"No" i shook my head..

The story which Umar told me today and the man with the knife kept flashing in my brain making me frantic

"Are you okay" Amir asked

"I.want my mum".I whispered not at all in my senses

"Areesha Your a brave girl yar nothing happened "sana hugged me..

"Are you sure your the eldest" Amir teased.
Making me glare at him.with my watery eyes

"What is happening" a sleepy Daniyal stood at the door

"Nothing" Amir replied "go and sleep I am coming"

"Is everything okay ?"he asked again

"Yeah."Amir nodded

"Okay now lock the door" he said going towards the door.

"No please don't go" I panicked making him halt .And than turn

The man clutching a knife was flashing in my brain..

"Areesha he has to go dear everything is fine now" sana kept her hand on my shoulder.

"No" i shook my head stopping my tears..

"Areesha
okay wait don't cry" he said looking at my tears fill eyes

"Here this hotel phone I will connect it with mine so you could hear me and Daniyal while we will be able to hear you" he took the phone from the cradle and dialed his room no.

"I will go and pick it up. And keep it aside fine" he looked at me.

It did make me somewhat satisfied I gingerly nodded..

"And girls please don't gossip I will be able to hear you and than wouldn't let that go " he said lightning the mood and making me giggle..

"Read Ayat ul kursi" he said leaving the room.

We sighed locking the door my heart rate still abnormal..

"Shukar it wasn't something serious" sana sat on her side of the bed.

"Yeah" ..I nodded..

We decided to pray tahajjud first and than sleep..

Laying the praying mat beside the window I prayed tahajjud .

Raising my hands towards the sky I prayed to the only one who could fulfill my duas..

I prayed for the safety of all the humans

I prayed for everyone's comfort and peace..

And than I prayed for my family

Oh ALLAH I don't know who is he and what he is capable of..
Please ya Allah save our family from him you only can make miracles happen make him soft towards us..

Make his venom towards us vanish.

Only you can do it please my father has United with his family after so long please let him be soft towards us.I kept my pleas infront of Al Mujeeb and believed that He will protect us as dua made with sincere heart during tahajjud gets fulfilled

Reading ayat ul kursi I blowed on every one and hugged daud while clutching Sana's hand and meeting the deep slumber ..

I felt a kiss on my cheeks

Opening my eyes I came across dauds cute face.

"Assalam o alikum apii good morning" he greeted taking my hand under his cheeks.

"Walalikum Asalam wa rahmatulahi wa barakatuhu my hero"

"Apii let's wake up now" he demanded

"Okay but shh let's not wake sana up" I said .

"I am awake" she mumbled

"Gooooood morning" Daud and i cheered

"Good morning" she chuckled.

"I am hungry" Daud pouted

"Mee too" I said

"I am going to fresh up until you both than get up properly" sana said

"Okay two minutes I don't want to leave this cozy blanket". I mumbled snuggling in

Which Daud followed..

"Api your nose is pink! why?

"I am feeling cold" I imitated shivering making him chuckle.

"Mr bunny did you slept well I asked..

"Great" he showed his thumbs

"That's good" I kissed his cheeks

"Api I want a kiss here to" he pointed at his forehead..

"Give me your hands Daud I am freezing"

"And I am hot I want cold" he said placing his hands in mine making me giggle at his words

I rubbed my hand in his warm and small ones..

"Api tell me the story of that brave Prince" Daud said.

"Hmm okay come here" I said.

He layed on my arm stroking his smooth hair I started .

"There was once a very strong Prince".

"He was big and powerful.!!".

"Was he afraid" daud asked..

"No he was only Afraid of Allah nothing else.".

"Not even snakes?".daud piped in

"No nothing,
he used to pray on time and always do good deeds ."

"One day when he went out to work

Someone kidnapped his princess
He loved A lot"

"AaaHaa" why Daud exclaimed

"When He came home He didn't find her and than the news got to him that the monsters had kidnapped her.."

"Monsters" Daud exclaimed making me nod

"He prayed to ALLAH for her than got ready and went towards the house of monsters to save her.."

"Will monsters not eat him" Daud asked.

"Allah is with the good people and he was a good Prince .."

"He reached there and prepared himself to fight with all the monsters "

"Like batman" daud said.

"Eww no" I said making him giggle

"He was beautiful Prince who went to rescue his princess by Allah's help..

And no one can defeat a person whom ALLAH loves.."

"Than did he get his princess?"Daud asked

"Yes one by one he fought with everyone and unlocked the dark black cage in which his princess was locked"

"Wow I want to be like him"

"Keep praying Allah Will make you strong" I said

"And than?" he asked

"Than he thanked Allah and took his princess with him and he protected her every day by blowing Ayat ul kursi on her.And cared for her by bringing her chocolates everyday"

"Those words can save you"he asked curious

"Yes dear they can!"

"I will also give my princess chocolates"he smiled

"That's really great I poked his stomach"

"Hmm someone is ticklish" I smirked.

And started tickling him making him erupt in laughter..

"EXCUSE ME SOMEONE IS TRYING TO SLEEP HERE "Daniyal grumbled in the phone making me halt..

I totally forgot they could hear us..

Oh my Allah

"By the way I loved the story" dani said

OH my Embarrassing totally embarrassing

Daud eyes perked up at danis voice he held the phone and started singing good morning songs to them making me laugh

"What he is doing?" sana asked cleaning her face with a tissue..

"He is waking them up "I giggled looking at Daud who was still engrossed in his job.

"Good good keep it up" daud sana laughed.

"Okay that's enough Daud let's keep the phone.." I said

"No, wait Amir bhaiya Areesha api and me are hungry" he shouted through the phone making me freeze while sana started laughing

"Daud keep the phone" I chided..

"Hmm"
"Acha"
"okay bye".daud said on the phone

"He is saying tell them to get ready than we will go down to have breakfast" Daud completed giving me a toothy grin

While I was thinking of the ways to hide my embarrassment when we will meet.

"Chalo let's get ready fast" sana giggled again making me throw the pillow at her.
