Y/n was walking in town with his eel hound beside him

Y/n:well we're out here because Anne decided to take Polly on a "girl time".

He says making air quotes then crossing his arms

Eel hound:*bark*!.

Y/n:what? no I'm not mad for them having girl time I'm mad because she's ruining the progress I made with that child we were going to be the chaos duo!!!.

Coincidently while talking about them y/n accidentally bumped into Anne holding Polly

Anne:oh shoot sorr-oh hey y/n.

Y/n:oh hey Anne sorry for....

Y/n noticed that she looked different with her hair and outfit

Y/n:umm...your...

Anne:what? Oh ya I got some new clothes and my hair done so...I do I look pretty cute right?.

She asked with a light tint of red forming on her cheeks

Y/n:pff cute more like gorgeous!.

Hearing this Anne's face was a full on tomato now

Polly:Y/N!!!.

Polly jumps out of Anne's hands and latches onto y/n's hoodie while putting her hands out threw the top of the dress

Polly:HELP ME LOOK WHAT SHE PUT ON ME!!!.

Y/n:oh my sweet Polly what has she done to you...

Anne quickly pulls back Polly into grasp while Polly tries to shake out

Anne:eh heh don't listen to her sorry but we gotta go!.

Anne then runs off with Polly

Y/n then notices his cheeks feel weird they are...red? he pats them a few times as they return back to normal

Y/n:huh what was that?.

Y/n looks down to see his eel hound making a face

Y/n:what?...was it because my cheeks they're fine now!.

The eel hound just wiggles its brows and walks away

Y/n:what!? Was it because of the comment I made? She does!.

Y/n rolls his eyes about to follow his pet until he stops and starts smelling the air

Y/n:*sniff* *sniff* I smell chaos...and it smells wonderful.

Y/n looked to his right to see some sort of smoke coming up from the trees in the woods

Y/n:oooooo! mysterious chaos even better!.

He makes his way into the woods moving bushes and branches out of his way until he gets closer to the smoke

He finally reached the spot where the smoke was coming from only to see it was a pot with a boiling substance inside with a book leaned on a tree in front of it with a bunch of potions

Y/n:coooooool.

He takes a quick picture on his phone

He hears footsteps approaching as he quickly ducks down into the bushes he moves the bushes slightly to see it was Maddie

(She's adorable...in a creepy way)

Y/n:oh ya I remember her she makes soup?.

While y/n continues to wonder Maddie was grabbing certain items and dropping them into the pot

Maddie:one snake eye...

She drops it into the pot

Maddie:two black worms...

Again she drops it into the pot she then grabs a glass bottle with a confused look

Maddie:should I add this for a bit of a boom?...

Y/n:well in my book I'd say yes.

Maddie:hmm maybe your right......WAIT WHAT!!!?.

Maddie quickly turns towards y/n too quickly accidentally letting go of the bottle causing it to smash on the ground behind y/n and blow up

Y/n stands there for a second then falls face first into the ground

Maddie:oh...your the creature living in sprigs house.

Y/n then gets up and dusted himself off like nothing happened

Y/n:yup and if i remember correctly you are Maddie right?.

Maddie:ya and listen maybe you shouldn't sneak up and someone making potions you could've ruined my work!.

Y/n:well sorry maybe next time you wanna make soup in private use ur kitchen gosh!.

Maddie just gave y/n a deadpanned expression

Maddie:......it's not soup don't you know a spell when you see it?.

Y/n:uhhhhh...no?.

Maddie:*sighs*no one ever does listen I'd appreciate it if you leave me to my work.

Y/n:fine...

Y/n started to walk away while Maddie talks to herself

Maddie:dang it I'd have this completed if I could just find that mushroom.

Y/n was able to hear this and stops walking he then digs inside his pocket and pulls out a mushroom he ate that made him see things

He then walks back to Maddie as he taps her shoulder as she turns towards him

Y/n:is this it?.

Maddie then widens her one visible eye and grabs the mushroom

Maddie:whoa ya this is it I've been looking everywhere for this you just saved me so
much time.

Y/n:say is there anything special about this mushroom?.

Maddie:hmmm well there is one legend about how if you eat this mushroom and wait ten days a weird entity will possess your bod-

Maddie then finally looks down at the mushroom noticing the chunk bitten out of it as her eye widens again

Maddie:you ate the mushroom!!!?.

Y/n:uh well ya but don't worry hop pop cured me-

Maddie:you can't just use some old normal cure!...*sighs* luckily for you the cure requires the ingredients that I just put into the pot.

Y/n:phew!.

Maddie then takes the mushroom and puts it down on a nearby carved wooden table she then goes up to the pot and starts adding a few more ingredients she then walks up to y/n and plucked out a piece of his hair

Y/n:weh!.

She drops the piece of hair into the pot as the liquids color turns to yellow then quickly turns to (f/c)

She then scooped up the liquid into a bottle and hands it to y/n

Maddie:just drink this and you'll be cured.

Y/n:what flavor is it?.

Maddie:...what?.

Y/n:what flavor is it? Since the color is (f/c) I'd think it should taste like (flavor) but what if it doesn't and sikes me out?.

Maddie:...did you forget that if you don't drink this there might be something possessing your body?...

Y/n:it already feels like that.

Maddie:what?.

Y/n:I said what flavor is it?.

Maddie just rubs her forehead not believing what she's hearing

Maddie:what flavor do you like?.

Y/n:(favorite flavor).

Maddie:it's (favorite flavor).

Y/n:well why didn't you say so!.

He then proceeds to chug the bottle then when he finished he smacks his lips for a few seconds

Y/n:...you lied to me-

Suddenly his eyes widen as they turn yellow

But then quickly turn back to his normal eye color as he exhales a yellow smoke strangely he swore he heard a distorted laugh

Maddie:huh looks like the curse is true.

Y/n:I feel better actually...maybe that was the voice in my head...

Maddie:...man you are a strange creature.

She then turns to her pot with a slightly saddened face

Maddie:looks like I have to search for a ingredient again...

Y/n now feeling bad walks next to Maddie and puts his hand on her shoulder as she looks up at him

Y/n:I'll help you find them it's me paying you back for helping me just now and hey maybe I could learn some of those spells with you?.

Maddie stares at y/n for a bit until she smiles

Maddie:that would be appreciated.

The two start walking into the woods looking out for one of the things they need

Maddie:by the way are you interested in the dark arts?.

Y/n:oh I adore dark arts!.

Maddie:ya we're gonna get along just fine.

(TIMESKIP)

Y/n was now making his way home but now he was holding potions

A sad day it is now y/n has now got his grasp on potions

While walking back he sees a crowd of frogs each being given a piece of gold he even sees the planters and Anne as Polly was given one he then walks up to them

Y/n:what the heck did I miss?.

Polly:I beat the longest spit! And Anne was wrong!.

Y/n:what!?.

He then turns to Anne and points at her

Y/n:you were wrong!?.

Anne:I was wrong...

Y/n:super wrong!?.

Anne:yes y/n I was super wrong...

Y/n:you're always wrong!?.

Anne:I'm-HEY you too now!?.

Y/n:heh I'm just messing with ya.

Sprig:you should've seen it y/n where were you?.

Y/n:I got released from a demon or something? I don't know.

Anne:WHAT!?.

Y/n:eh not important watch this!.

Y/n grabbed one of the potions and threw it on the ground in front of him making smoke go into the air

When it cleared he was gone

Sprig:whooooah!.

Polly:how come y/n gets to learn magic!?.

Hop pop:now Polly you know what would happen if you got a hold on magic and y/n....well we should have watched him better...

Anne:but where is he?.

A few seconds go by as y/n then falls in front of the group with the rest of the potions landing on his back

Anne:Y/N ARE YOU OKAY!?!?.

Y/n says nothing for a bit until

Y/n:..............pour the green one on me...........I think it heals you..............
