in which... elora hargrove moves to hawkins, indiana a town in which nothing seems to go wrong, though that idea soon changes when elora comes across a realm of monsters and horrors that takes place within the town, flipping her life upside down - literally.

Reader's notes/rambles:

. Heads up: This fic currently only has one chapter published (yet), and as such this will probably be short. But don't let that deter you! Because just like Mara's other ST fics, it is really good so far!!

. Okay, so... so far, the plot is really good! Especially since this is more or less the first fic I read where the OC is a Hargrove, so it provides for interesting dynamics with Max <3 and Billy *hurls*, and so far Elora is a really interesting character that's gonna have me wish to hug her CONSTANTLY throughout this fic. Like, can someone give her a hug already, please? (Steve, we're looking at you) And it also makes me intrigued on how she'll deal with the monsters...

. Also, she's a really different character from Carla, personality-wise. I feel like there is a fear of having your main characters have the same personalities, but that's not the case here. Elora and Carla are fundamentally different people just from the first chapter, ad that makes me really curious on how Mara will expand upon Elora's character in future chapters, especially with the impact of her mother leaving will be upon her.

. Another thing that interests me is the dynamics. Of course, I know I'm going to love Elora and Max's sister-dynamic (and prepared to be utterly WRECKED in s4 by it), but even as he boils my blood, hers and Billy's dynamic given they're twins will also be interesting (and with the ending of s3...) But along with those dynamics, I'm intrigued by the potential sparks of a friendship between Nancy and Elora, which I love because of how some fics just have Nancy and the OC in a Steve fic don't like each other, which... I'm not a fan of, so it's REALLY refreshing that it's going in the opposite route. And, of course, the sparks between Steve and Elora! I'm already shipping them and I really can't wait to see how their relationship will grow and develop (though I think I'll have a hard time choosing between Starla and Stelora XD) 

. Of course, just like in Missing, Vanished and Gone, this fic has Mara's AMAZING writing! Like... I love her writing style so much. As I said before, you are such a talented writer, Mara <3

. Again, this does have one chapter, but still give this fic all the love it deserves! And same with Mara and her other fics, including her Scream fic! (which I will also do a review of!)
