"Mandy, we gotta talk."

Yep, straight to the point. Now as most stories, there would always be some sort of lead up to any sort of confrontation. But even to Lou, no waffling in the spur of the moment was acceptable within this given time.

"Oh yeah? What is it, Lou?" She was clearly distracted by her room being messy, her stubborn nature turning to view and pushing into fixing her room up as she would please. Every doll knew of her stubborn nature that seemed to block everyone out when it came to everything being perfect to Mandy. But this case seemed so much more serious.

Lou just rolled his eyes at Mandy's actions, she clearly wasn't taking this conversation seriously as he would like. He straightened his posture up once again and folding his arms leaning against the doorway.

"I've noticed that you seem a bit preoccupied at something." Lou started, Mandy did not seem fazed and just continued to pull at the sheets of her bed. "Oh?" Lou just stifled a laugh, making it almost sound like a scoff. "Yes," Still, the brown female doll paid no proper attention to where Lou was getting at. Lou took one whole glance around the room, not before subtly noticing the mirror being turned to the wall. Lou lifted his brow, he shook his head really beginning to think this was getting out of hand.

"Okay, Mandy seriously we need to sit down." This grabbed Mandy's attention, she feared something bad was to happen and decided against the idea of disobeying Lou. Sure she had her independent moments where she liked being herself, but she had more respect for others than she did for herself- which turns to be the ugly truth behind her uplifting-nature facade.

"Okay... Well then, what's bothering you?" Mandy asked, kindess flowing off of the tip of her tongue as she laid a hand on Lou's shoulder. Lou shook his head at her kindness, he wasn't mad at her, it was actually quite far from it. He was in pure disbelief at how kind this woman can be. Which only out Lou foward into a state of determination.

"No Mandy, I gotta ask you the same thing." Mandy raised an eyebrow and Lou's comment. Lou guided her hands in his.

"When I mean your distracted, I mean that you are really focused on something. In a... non-healthy way." Lou deepened the tone of his voice, making him seem more serious. Mandy's eyes widened.

"Oh..." She was finally catching on to what Lou was so serious about.

"Care to enlighten me." Lou furrowed his brows, squeezing Mandy's hands a little harder in his. But not in a painful way. His emotion screaming through his face was full of concern, but a part of his expression really showed dissapointed. Mandy's heart sink. This clearly didn't make Lou happy with her. She couldn't help but groan in frustration at her actions, which much to Lou's dismay, caught him off-guard. She lept up from the edge of the bed and paced back and forth as she spoke.

"Oh I don't know Lou? Is it wrong to feel good about myself for once?" Lou scoffed. "Not if it's practically killing you!"

"Oh you don't know that." Mandy crossed her arms.

"You fainted this afternoon."

Now that caught Mandy off-guard. The only person who knew about that was Nolan.

~Flashback~

Mandy wipes some sweat off of her head, clearly exhausted after her task at hand. Nolan was generous enough to lend a hand to Mandy with her floral arrangements for her backyard. Presentation was everything in Mandy's life, but to her expense, so was the beauty of life itself.

"Thanks again for helping me with the last of these floral arrangement, Nolan." Mandy thanked him while taking a break, inhaling and ehaling some much-needed breaths after that hard work did a number on her back and hands.

"It was-" Nolan grunts before placing the last arrangment down on the concrete that accompanied her backyard, "no problem, really."

"How about we get some snacks inside to unwind." Mandy smiled generously, which Nolan instantly sprung up to.

"Oh yes please!" Mandy laughed right after he saw Nolan about to rush inside, she was going to catch up to him, only to experience this lethargic force against her head.

"You know I've always wanted to try a cinnamon roll. You know, before all this happened I never  actually tried one. Oo! maybe with a side of-" Nolan turned around to see Mandy struggling to walk, along with a hand on her head in desperation. The smile instantly off of his precious face, and concern was all he could present through his expression.

"Mandy?... Are you okay."

"No yeah! I'm- fine." Mandy said before her legs gave out, Nolan rushed to her side, quickly catching her before she fell onto the ground. She was unconscious, but it was better that she didn't fall to the concrete ground and damaging herself even more.

~Flashback end~

'Damnit, Nolan' Mandy cursed mentally.

"You actually kept something like that from me?" Lou said, more anger planted on his face.

"Well I didn't want you to worry!"

"Okay, well, how is you fainting from not eating and heat exhaustion bound to NOT worry me?!"

Mandy just shook her head before heading over to the window, not wanting to be by Lou as she shouted.

"What was I supposed to say?! Huh? If I gave you a reason, then something like this was bound to happen!"

"What's even worse is that you thought me not knowing how much pain you were in, was any better than me being fully aware."

"Jeez Lou I'm SORRY! WHAT MORE CAN I SAY!"

"Sorry? Sorry?! REALLY THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?!"

"YES!"

"OH WOW! THAT CLEARS EVERYTHING UP JUST DAMN FINE!"

"WELL THEN WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO SAY?"

"TELL ME WHY YOU DID IT!"

"BECAUSE! LOU! I KNOW YOU'LL TELL ME AS MANY TIMES A DAY THAT I'M BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT BUT I CAN NEVER SEE MYSELF THAT WAY. BECAUSE I'M NEVER SATISFIED WITH MYSELF.  I QUITE LITERALLY HATE THAT I CAN NEVER COMPARE TO ANY DAMN DOLL AROUND HERE. HOW DO YOU THINK I ENDED UP HERE."
