When we prepare to leave the Hearthome City, we meet up with Cynthia once more. She says, "I'm so glad to see you! You're not very easy to track down. My grandma told me about what took place in Celestic Town."

"We're sorry that both the orbs are stolen..." I say.

"Don't worry about that. Thanks for what you did by the ruins! But that Team Galactic... I thought they were just a bunch of eccentrics. You know, talking about how they're going to make a new universe and all. And that weird way they dress, too. I thought they were all harmless." Cynthia says.

"I don't think that's the case, you know that you're also a part of Team Alpha, right?" Lillie says.

"It appears as if they're a lot more trouble than I thought. I mean, stealing and hoarding Pokemon... That's just plain wrong. By the way, did you find the ruins interesting at all?"

Really, she just changed the topic like that? "If you did, you may want to visit the library in Canalave City. They have some ancient books that you might find interesting. It may also be of help to the completion of your Pokedex. I think you ought to go there. OK, bye-bye for now!"

After she leaves, Dawns says, "She sure is a little weird..."

"I can tell..." I sigh.

Before we head to Canalave City, we decide to stop by Fuego Ironworks because we get a call from our mother that Looker has been found out by Team Galactic and is imprisoned there.

But just as we arrive at the Floamora Meadow, we find Meowth lying there and he explains to us that Jessie and James are also imprisoned by Team Galactic. Since we're going to the Fuego Ironworks after all, so we let him tag along as we head to Fuego Ironworks.

They have prepared some Golbat to attack us, and we also see Jupiter there trying to stop us from getting close. "Get out of the way."

"You all are good at popping out of nowhere." Jupiter says. "Want to join Team Galactic?"

"Sorry, we are not interested." I say, "Where did you imprison Looker and the rest of the staff?"

"We imprisoned them of course." Jupiter says as we decide to surround them. Jupiter has Skuntank use Toxic, and we try to use Defog. But we notice that Jupiter is already gone with the helicopter taking off.

"Come back here!" I yell, but they are already gone. So our priority is to find Team Rocket and Looker. We find them imprisoned in the room, and we are glad to find the staff with them as well. The door is electrified, so Looker wants us to break the door.

After saving the people, Looker says, "You helped us out in a tough spot. Thank you."

"No problem." I say. Then Team Rocket decides to leave us alone instead of trying to steal our Pokemon.

"So Team Galactic escapes again..." Looker says. "And that means my work here is finished."

We try to find out what they're looking for, and we manage to find a piece of crystal. "Check it out, Looker, what do you think that is?"

Looker says, "I have no idea, we'll send it to your mother and we'll analyze what the object is."

We nod as we all bid Looker farewell, and we are also given an Electirizer so we can evolve Electabuzz into Electivire.

Electivire: The Thunderbolt Pokemon: Electric Type. Evolve from Electabuzz by trading with Electirizer. It pushes the tips of its two tails against the foe, then lets loose with over 20,000 volts of power.

We are now at Route 218, and it is a usual day of sending Team Rocket blasting off after annoying us. After that, we encounter a wild Glameow. I say, "Come to think of it, Lillie. We still haven't got ourselves a Glameow, right?"

"Yeah." Lillie says. "Should we capture it?"

"We should ask this Pokemon first." I say as we talk a little, the Glameow agrees to let herself be captured.

Glameow: The Catty Pokemon: Normal Type. It claws if displeased and purrs when affectionate. Its fickleness is very popular among some.

And then we also train our Shellos and they both evolve into Gastrodon. They also help us surf through Route 218.

Gastrodon (West Sea): The Sea Slug Pokemon: Evolve from West Sea Shellos at LV:30. Eats beach sand for nourishment. Should one Gastrodon encounter another of a different color, a fierce battle will inevitably ensue.

Gastrodon (East Sea): The Sea Slug Pokemon: Evolve from East Sea Shellos at LV:30. Found more often on the land than in the sea. More active when it's cloudy or rainy out than when the weather is fair.

Then we stop by a town as we're training Floatzel and Luxio, and suddenly, they are hugging each other and won't get separated. The same goes for Piplup and Pikachu. We find out that it is Professor Kodama's work since he wants his Quagsire and Magnemite to be friends.

Team Rocket then appears and steals the machine, but after Quagsire and Magnemite save the hostages and turn off the machine, Luxio evolves into Luxray and sends them flying in the end.

Luxray: The Gleam Eyes Pokemon: Electric Type. Evolved from Luxio at LV:30. It has eyes that can see through anything. It spots and captures prey hiding behind objects.

I think that the machine won't work on Quagsire and Magnemite because of their Ground and Steel Type, and Professor Kodama is delighted as he wants it to become his next research project.

After we arrive at Canalave City, Barry is already waiting for us. "You're going to challenge the Gym Leader up past here, eh? Someone should check to see if you're ready for this challenge! That someone is me! With my brand-new Gym Badge!"

Barry already gets the Canalave Gym Badge, so he wants to battle me and he has a Heracross this time, but with the five Pokemon I still win against him in the end.

"Yeah, yeah, you're just a bit better than me, as usual. But listen up! Let me tell you who's going to take on the Pokémon League and become the Champion. You guessed right! It's going to be me! Anyway, you should be able to take the Gym Leader here. Hurry up and go make the challenge!"

After he leaves, we head to the Canalave Gym, only to find the gym is closed. Byron is not at the gym since he's training on Iron Island, and we also notice some people are sleepy and the shops are closed. When we go to the Police Station, we also find that Officer Jenny is also sleepy.

"What's going on around here, Officer Jenny?" I ask.

"For some reason, over the past couple of days, every single person on the island is having nightmares." Jenny says. "Everyone has gone to another island so this is why Canalave Island is so deserted right now."

"Do you know why this is happening?" Lillie asks.

"Yes, the truth is we have a Darkrai on the island." We are shocked to hear the name of Darkrai.

"And Creselia will come to the island at the same time with Darkrai and use its mystical powers to give us good dreams. For some reason, Darkrai decides to show up early and so far there is no sign of Cresselia and everyone's having nightmares. In desperation, I try to get a Lunar Wing to protect myself from bad guys..."

She shows us the wing, and Dawn also has one that she got from Alamos Town, we decide to compare and I notice that the wing is actually a fake.

"This is just a Pidgey's feather with a dye color. I can say that it can be a good item when filming a movie." I say.

Officer Jenny runs out in a rage, determined to arrest the counterfeiters. We also go there and we find that it is actually Team Rocket's work. They use the Nightmare Machine to send people into nightmares and trick people into buying the fake wings.

"Why don't you ever learn..." Dawn says.

Then we try to destroy the machine and also send them flying using Thunderbolt, once they're sent flying, we know that at least people will be able to have some sleep. After we bid Officer Jenny farewell, we decide to find an inn for us to rest. But just when we enter the inn, the owner is strange and he says, "We've had a reservation for you. We've held it a long time..."

We are confused, but we don't think that much as we all take a room and fall asleep. But then, we find ourselves in a nightmare as we fall into darkness, and the next thing we wake up, I ask, "Did all of you have nightmares?"

"All of a sudden I found myself in total darkness and there was a creepy Pokemon standing there with me."

"We have the same dream as well..." I say. "And where exactly are we?"

We notice that we're in our regular clothes instead of our pajamas and we find ourselves on an island. We check the map and we notice that we're on Newmoon Island with a boat.

"It seems that we're here on Newmoon Island, but how did we get here in the first place?" Tox asks.

"We come here through this boat?" Daniel asks.

As we walk further, we can't believe what we're seeing. A Darkrai is standing in front of us. However, before he can talk, Team Rocket appears and they try to take Darkrai, they also trap us in nets, and the only one who can move is Dawn's Swinub. In the end, Swinub evolves into Piloswine and defeats Team Rocket, freeing the Pokemon.

"Thank you for saving us." Dawn hugs Piloswine, and Darkrai also breaks free from the net. I ask, "Darkrai, did you bring us nightmares?"

"I have sensed someone trying to frame me with a machine, I have heard a lot about you, and I think you're ready to capture me."

We gasp in shock, we know that Cynthia's husband, Tobias, has a Darkrai and how he manages to win the battles with it. I smile as I finally get to face the Nightmare Pokemon in the battle.

After we battle, of course, Pikachu loses in the end, but Darkrai decides to give us the customized Pokeball for our efforts.

Darkrai: The Pitch-Black Pokemon: Dark Type. Folklore has it that on moonless nights, this Pokémon will make people see horrific nightmares.

"Darkrai. Your power is strong. Though you don't will it, you make people and Pokemon around you see terrible nightmares. That is why you came here - Newmoon Island. Here, there is no one but you. There are none that can be drawn into your nightmare. And if anyone were to fall into the nightmares, Fullmoon Island is close by."

We hear a strange voice and then our minds are blurred once more. When we wake up again, we are back at the inn.

We also find Dawn sending out Piloswine, and she says, "That was not a dream..."

We are confused as we all head outside, the sailor comes and says, "You've been asleep for a long, long time... What happened to you? And what were you doing here? No one has lived here for 50 years."

After he leaves, we feel shivers, and Gladion says, "Maybe we did use Sleep Talk after all... or Darkrai must have done something to us..."

"Anyway, I guess everything's fine. Let's go to the gym now." I say.

Here is a new chapter, and in this chapter, I put the Darkrai event inside so Ash can finally capture the Pokemon. I hope you like it and the next chapter will be the Canalave City Gym.
