BANG! BANG! BANG!
     "What the hell...?" You got up, grabbing your earmuffs, coat, scarf, and boots. "I swear, if we have another animal infestation, I'm gonna scream." You muttered under your breath, slamming the door on the way out of the house.
     You ran outside and turned around to look at the roof. It was your girlfriend of two years, Mahiru Koizumi, hanging Christmas decorations on your rooftop. "Mahiru, honey, what are you doing on the roof?" You yelled, hoping neighbors wouldn't yell back.
     "I'm putting up Christmas decorations! There's not really a lot of time left!" She yelled down to you. Still in her 'I know everything' voice.
     You sighed. "There's a little more than three weeks left until then! You've got plenty of time..."
     "Actually..." She looked down at you. 'Oh god...I know where this is going...' She pulled up her coat sleeve and looked at her watch. "We have 24 days, 6 hours, 21 minutes, and 10 seconds. 9, 8, 7..." She kept counting down, and climbed down from the ladder she'd put up.
      You sighed and rolled your eyes. "Why the hell do I put up with this every year?" You crossed your arms and sighed again.
      She walked over to you, the snow crunching under her winter boots. She grabbed your hands, covered in a few fallen snowflakes, and looked at you with warm eyes.
      "Because I make you, my loving girlfriend of two years, die hard Christmas sweets." She smiled with a greedy smirk and pulled you inside the warm place you two call home.
