Here's the next chapter......

This chapter will describe how Piper was sucked into the well.
Tomorrow I get up at 4am for a long day of appointments.

Inuyasha was asleep against the wall in Kagome's living room, that is until he heard shuffling, and he opened one eye, and saw Piper with her eyes closed, getting up, and she started walking out of the house, and Inuyasha stood up, him following her, and found her walking towards the well area, her opening the door herself, and he followed close behind her as she walked down the steps of the well area, and she stood in front of the well, her stepping over it, and he reached out, trying to grab her, but a barrier prevented him from doing so, and he watched helplessly as she jumped down the well, and disappeared, and the barrier disappeared, which was weird.

Inuyasha ran back to Kagome's home, him jumping up to her window, him opening it, and stepped into her room, but when he did, he stepped ontp the dust pan, it flying, and hitting him in the face comedically, making him fall backwards, and out of the window, his back slamming onto the ground below, screwing up his back, because he heard a pop, and felt pain riddle his back, him groaning in pain.

"My back!"
Inuyasha says breathlessly, as he carefully gets up, his back popping again as he stood up.
He limped into Kagome's home, and carefully sits against the wall in the living area.
"I can't climb up the stairs now.
I'll wait until the morning."

Piper floated down to the bottom of the well, her still sleepwalking, and she climbed out of the well, and her bare feet touched grass, and she stood up, and randomly walked in a different direction, her walking most of the night, until she came to a big field, that had short grass, and she stood in the middle of the field, her eyes still closed, her breathing evenly.

A cat-like scent with alot of human hits Sesshomaru's senses, and he stops walking, him turning to the right, his long hair swishing as so, and he started walking in that direction, him following the smell, until he came to a clearing of a grassy field, him seeing a sleeping woman with golden and blue hair, her evenly breathing he could hear, and her eyes were closed, so he figured she was asleep, that is until her eyelids squinted, and she opened her eyelids, her eyes were of the deepest blue, but they seemed to be gazing faraway, that is until she blinked, and smiles up at the milky way up above her, and she spins around, then stopped, her talking to herself.

But then a snarl erupted around them, her not noticing Sesshomaru, and a demon came from the trees, her falling on her rear, and screaming in utter fear.
Sesshomaru acted on instinct, and used his poison whip to kill the demon, saving her, and she started crying, him calling her pathetic, since he could smell the cat demon in her blood, and she looked beyond confused, and hurt in her face.
He turned to walk away, but she followed him, which annoyed him, but he then allowed her follow him.

And now; that very girl was sleeping soundly next to the fire Jaken made, her not sleepwalking now, which confused Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru could see the sun rising ahead, but he decided to let her sleep, him giving Jaken a look to let her sleep, and Sesshomaru stands up, him scenting out Saimyosho nearby, in which he let his hand glow green with his poison, and used his inhuman speed to kill each one of the hell hornets as the girl slept.
He knows if this girl dies, then Kagome will slay him, however it's laughable that she could try to slay Sesshomaru, and thinking about her attempting to slay him, made him slightly smile in his own amusement.

The girl soon woke up when the sun was high overhead, her rubbing her eyes, and she looked around, then says.
"I guess it wasn't a dream?"
She yawns, then turned her blue eyes to  look at Sesshomaru.
"Good morning Lord Sesshomaru."

Sesshomaru looked away from her, him not responding to her, and he walked over to A-un, taking the leather water cantine off A-un, that he filled last night of water from a nearby stream as she slept, and walked over to her, him kneeling down, and holds it out for her.
"Thank you.
I am thirsty."
She nods to him, her smiling at him.
She started drinking from it, that is until she hands it back to him.
"Here."
He nods when she says that, and tied it back upon A-un's saddle.

"Let us go."
Sesshomaru says to her, and she stands up, her gathering the furs, and walked over to him.

"Thank you for the bedding.
You know you are nice when you want to be."
She gets flustered in her cheeks, her avoiding his gaze, and he took the furs from her, and tied them upon A-un with his one hand, and his fangs.
"Um.....may I ask how you lost your arm?"
She asked him.

He gave her a glare over his shoulder, making her flinch, and say.
"Nevermind I asked.
It's not my business anyways, but I feel bad I'm having you do things for me with an arm missing."

"I am not weak.
I can handle my own."
He replied coldly to her.
"It is you who cannot survive in this era without my guidance, so know your place."
He then walked away, and she followed him, her giving him a look she was hurt he said that, her rubbing her other arm with her hand.

"I'll repay my debt to you somehow Lord Sesshomaru."
She tells him, her giving him a serious look.

"No need.
I will drop you off at any village I find."
He says coldly to her.

"Really?
But; can't you keep me with you?
I really don't trust anyone else to help me.
Because you saved my life, I trust you; you know."
She tells him honestly he could tell.

"The journey is too dangerous for you."
He retorts calmly back at her.

"I can do anything you want!
Name it!
I'll do whatever you want to repay you!"
She says to him, her giving him a look of desperation.
"Please let me stay with you?!"

Those blue eyes.......are as rare jewels.
Keeping her by my side is not wise, lest Naraku tries to harm her.
Naraku will no doubt use her to his advantage.
And the sleepwalking problem will cause lack of sleep for myself.
But if she sleep walks in a human village, then they will think she is possessed by a demon, and try to exorcize her.
Sesshomaru thought to himself, and he sighs outloud.

Jaken looked to Lord Sesshomaru with a look to tell his lord that it is Lord Sesshomaru's decision on what to do.

"You may stay for now, until I can figure where to place you."
Sesshomaru says to her as he walks and she followed close by him.

"I really appreciate you taking me in."
She says to him, her giving him a look she was glad he took her in.

Sesshomaru looked forward, but then stopped, and says as he pulled Tokijin from his waist sash.
"Stay behind me."

Lord Sesshomaru stopped walking, him on edge, as he took his sword, that has no sheath from his waist sash, and held it, him looking around, as he says to me.
"Stay behind me."

"What's going on?"
I asked him.

"Be silent."
He orders me lowly, to where I barely heard what he said.

A loud snarling noise rumbles the air, and I watch to my horror, as a tall ogre red skinned creature stomped slowly up to us, it shaking the ground.
I heard evil laughter not far from us, then a voice say.
"Let us see Sesshomaru; how you fair protecting that girl."

"Who's that?"
I ask Lord Sesshomaru.

He knows I have this girl, so my theory was correct, that Naraku brought her to this era somehow, so that he could use her to end me.
Sesshomaru looked to the girl, him noticing she was scared, and if she worked for Naraku, then she would know his voice, or know him, and it looks like she does not recognize Naraku's voice.

"Stay behind me and not falter."
Lord Sesshomaru orders me, and he swung his blade, it making a blue energy rush forward, and attempt hit the ogre tall creature, but the ogre creature dodged in time, and the blast flew, and destroyed the countryside, making me go wide eyed at that kind of power the sword had.

"What is that thing?"
I ask Lord Sesshomaru, my voice quivering.

"Do not stand there Sesshomaru.
Fight to protect her."
I heard that voice laugh again, making me look in the trees around us, me turning this way, and that.

"Who are you?!"
I yell at the voice.

"The one who will kill your newfound friend."
The voice says to me from the trees somewhere that I cannot tell where.

The ogre creature was now reaching down in attempt to grab Lord Sesshomaru, but Lord Sesshomaru used his blade to cut it's arm off, and blood splattered to the ground, and it's arm fell with a thud, then turned into a bone.

I see; the ogre is not alive, but dead like that Kikyo woman.
Sesshomaru thought to himself, and Tenseiga then pulsed, as if telling Sesshomaru to use it.
Sesshomaru looked down at the blade, and sheathed Tokijin, and as the ogre tried to grab the girl, Sesshomaru, with inhuman speed, grabbed her to his chest, and dodged the blow of the ogre's claws.
Sesshomaru then sets her upon a flat rock to sit.
"Stay here."

I blink up at Lord Sesshomaru, and ask him.
"What do you plan on doing?"

He didn't reply, as he pulled the other blade from it's sheath, and it glowed blue, and he rushed forward, jumping high in the air, and above the giant creature, and sliced the giant creature in half, it turning to ash, and the bones fell to the grass with several thuds.

I noticed the voice I heard in the woods isn't around anymore, more like it  disappeared, and it made me wonder who that person was.
I stand up, watching Lord Sesshomaru land onto his boots, and I smile up at him, and say to him.
"Thank you again for saving me."

"Do not thank me."
He walked by me, and I follow him, me smiling warmly at his back.

He maybe cold hearted, but he is kinda nice in my opinion.
He just has issues showing how he feels.
I thought to myself as we continued walking where he was leading me.
