I bounded across middle earth, my armour strapped on tightly. Kilis hands were gripped tightly around the chain collar on my neck, holding on for dear life as I ran, my paws and claws making deep marks in the ground. I was panting and my limbs grew tired but I had to get to Hobbiton before nightfall since Thorin wanted the invitation delivered promptly.

"Abrax slow down, you're going to do yourself an injury" Kili warned me, but I didn't listen and only ran faster, even if the armour weighed a ton and I had a dwarf on my back I was still able to run fast and shift. I had left Erebor at dawn and it was nearly dusk, I paused for one second to sniff the earth at my feet I caught the scent of Hobbits and I went bounding off dragging Kili forward unexpectedly, I just snorted in laughter. Just as the sun went down, there in front of me was Hobbiton. We were finally here and I could rest, we hadn't stopped since we left Erebor and I hadn't slowed down even when Kili fell asleep on my back.

I trotted through the town. Hobbits who were out late gave us looks as if they had never seen us before. We came to Bilbos house, Kili dismounted while I stood on my hind legs and we both trotted up to the door where Kili knocked on the door. I was still panting like crazy. The Hobbit opened the door and was very surprised. "Kili, Abrax!" He exclaimed.

"Thorin is to wed and he wants you there" Kili said handing him the invite.

"Oh okay, would you care to come in and stay the night Abrax looks exhausted?" The hobbit asked.

"Of course" Kili nodded. So I padded in turning into my human form. I collapsed onto one of his chairs but he didn't mind.

"Did you run the whole way?" Bilbo asked. I nodded. Kili lit his pipe and sat next to me his hand intertwining with mine.

"Where's the Frerin I have heard about?" He asked.

"Back in Erebor" I yawned.

"How's Fili?" He inquired.

"He's fine, happy married with two children" I replied looking at Kili.

"Unfortunately we had another on the way but he died, I was injured gravelly in battle and we lost the baby" I explained but tears began to cloud my eyes, Kili reached my hand and squeezed it gently. I looked up to him and he wiped my tears away.

"It's okay my Wolfy" Kili comforted me and kissed my head. He was the only one I allowed to call me Wolfy, in a way it comforts and calms me down.

"So who's the lucky lass?" He asked intrigued.

"Furdora Copperplate" Kili answered.

"Dis introduced the two and they hit it off straight away, we were all thrilled since we finally had a queen to rule by his side and keep him company" I said smiling at Kili.
