"COME ON." Kai says pulling on Paige's arm, urging her to get out of the bed. Paige groans but gets up groggily. Kai didn't want to go to the store either but if Paige was there, it wouldn't be as bad. Kai was wearing her new hoodie as it was freezing in Connecticut now, with some sweatpants that had leggings underneath for extra warmth.

Paige puts on a sweatshirt and sweatpants as well, not going for the extra layer of leggings like Kai. They leave the dorm room and head to Kai's car. Kai shivers as the inside of the car was cold as the Arctic. Kai starts the car and immediately gets the heat going.

"Fuck this, I'm moving to a tropical island." Kai says putting her hands under her butt to warm them up. Paige laughs as the heat finally starts kicking on. Kai lets out a breath she didn't know she was holding in before taking off to the grocery store.

"Why do I keep letting you get aux?" Kai questions as they head into the grocery store. Paige smiles at the girl but doesn't answer her. Kai grabs a mini cart, not needing to buy a bunch of things. Paige sneaks some items into the cart.

Kai stifles a laugh pretending not to see the extra items as they go down the isles. Kai grabs more fruits while Paige is leaning on the cart. "Want me to braid your hair tonight?" Kai asks, coming back to the cart with packs of fruit. Paige thinks, "just want a head massage actually." Paige admits. Kai smiles at the girl.

"Okay, I guess I can do that." Kai says. Paige jumps up in joy (guys wtf) and claps her hands. Safe to say she was excited for it. Kai checks out with Paige putting the groceries in the back for her while she gets the car running and the heat going.

Paige enters the car, shaking her ass off. "Cold?" Kai teases. Paige gives her a glare, putting her hands in front of the fans to have the heat warm them up. Kai pulls out of the parking lot and heads back to UConn.

Kai and Paige carry the groceries into the dorm room in one trip— Paige demanded they do it in one trip or they weren't the goats. Kai laughs as they set down the bags on the floor. "Can you please put them away?" Kai asks sweetly, Paige nods. She could never say no to Kai.

Kai lays on the bed, watching the blonde put the groceries away in the fridge. "Okay, since you put the groceries away I guess I'll give you a head massage." Kai says with a smile. Paige grins and hops onto the bed, the two of them knocking their heads together.

"You're an idiot." Kai insults as Paige lays on her with her head on her chest. Kai smirks and starts playing with the blonde hair, "I love your hair, it's so soft." Kai tells the girl.

Paige blushes, one of the best compliments she could receive. "Thank you, Kai." She says politely while looking up to the girl. Kai laughs and pushes her head back down. Kai grabs the remote and turns on the tv, climbing on Mamma Mia.

"This is your favorite movie." Paige speaks. "How do you know that?" Kai questions as the opening scene starts. Paige shrugs and Kai brushes it off. "I love Sophie." Kai says as Sophie greets her friends on the dock.

Kai stops massaging the blondes head and quickly gets out of the bed, "honey, honey, how he thrills me." Kai sings with a fake microphone. Paige laughs and pulls out her phone to record Kai. "Uh-huh, honey, honey."

"Honey, honey, nearly kills me. Uh-huh, honey, honey." Paige laughs at the brunette singing but she doesn't pay any attention to her. "I heard about HER before, I wanted to know some more. And now I know what they mean, SHE'S a love machi-i-ne. Oh, SHE makes me dizzy." Kai sings, changing the pronouns from him to her to apply to her situation a bit. Paige smirks at the change of words as the song keeps going.

"Honey, honey, let me feel it. Uh-huh, honey, honey. Honey, honey, don't conceal it. Uh-huh, honey, honey. The that you kiss good night, the way that you hold me tight, I feel like I wanna sing— when you do your. Thing!"

Paige keeps smiling as she records the girl, "maybe don't sing." She says loud enough for Kai to hear. Kai gives her a glare and a middle finger. Kai lays back down on the bed as the song takes a break.

The song starts up again but Paige pushes the girl down, wanting her head massage. Kai rolls her eyes and goes back to massaging the blondes head. Kai sings softly while fiddling with Paige's hair. "I want a Mamma Mia lifestyle." Kai speaks, watching the three girls sing and dance in Sophie's room.

"I love Sky, he's so fine." Kai admits as well. Paige gives a look of disgust, Kai gasps and flicks her head, "be nice to him!"

Paige groans and rubs the area where she got flicked and focused back on the movie. Kai giggles watching Donna and The Dynamos reunite. "I want a friendship like that when I'm old."

Paige smirks listening to the girl talk about what she wants. Kai gets out of bed once again as another song comes on. "I work all night, I work all day to pay the bills I have to pay. Ain't it sad? And still there never seems to be a single penny left for me." Kai sings while Paige records her again.

"In my dreams, I have a plan. If I got me a wealthy girl, I wouldn't have to work at all I'd fool around and have a ball." Kai continues, changing all the male parts to women. This was the most Paige has smiled in a while. "Money, money, money, must be funny. In a rich man's world." Kai decided to not change it from rich man's world because it is a man's world.

"Money, money, money, always sunny in a rich man's world. All the things I could do, if I had a little money. It's a rich man's world." Kai sings and does a little dance making Paige laugh behind the screen of her phone that was currently recording. "A girl like that is hard to find," she says in a deeper voice to match Tonya's voice. "But I can't get her off my mind." She says next switching over to her regular voice.

"And if she happens to be free, I bet she wouldn't fancy me." Kai sings with a slight pout, Paige does a small little pout with her behind the camera. Kai smiles at the blonde before continuing the verse, "so I must leave, I have to go. To Las Vegas or Monaco and win a fortune in a game my life will never be the sa-a-me." Kai acts out Donna's moves, pretending to show a flush of cards.

"Money, money, money, must be funny. In a rich man's world." Kai pretends she's on a boat and at the edge of it looking out over the sea. "I want to go dancing on a yacht." She says as the song goes to just some harmonizing.

"Let's go on a cruise." Paige suggests, turning the recording off as Kai yawns being tired out from the singing and dancing. Kai laughs, "yeah and I'm gonna be on the UConn basketball team." She jokes. Paige rolls her eyes but she was being serious.

Kai goes back to massaging the girls head and relaxing while watching her favorite movie. "I want to live at Villa Donna." Paige nods, Kai's fingers tangled up in the blondes hair causing a tight tug.

"That was all you!" She defends as Paige lets out a whine. Kai gasps as the intro to Mamma Mia starts. "It's my favorite song!" Paige groans as Kai gets up again. "I was cheated by you and I think you know when. So I made up my mind, it must come to an end." Kai sings with a smile on her face.

Paige watches the girl in fascination, "look at me now, will I ever learn? I don't know how but I suddenly lose control, there's a fire within my soul." She vocalizes, using a hairbrush as a microphone. "Just one look and I can hear a bell ring. One more look and I forget everything." Kai sings into the makeshift microphone while hitting a singing pose.

"Mamma Mia, here I go again. My, my, how can I resist you? Mamma Mia, does it show again? My, my, just how much I missed you." Kai yells out into the mic. Kai smiles as she quits singing, wanting to just enjoy the movie and Paige definitely doesn't like it when her head massage gets cut off. "Okay, I'm done. I promise." She says as she goes back to lying down. Paige rolls her eyes, not believing the girl.

Kai giggles watching the movie while Paige starts lightly snoring. "Sleepy girl." Kai teases as she continues to stroke her hair. Kai gives a light kiss to her forehead before she falls asleep soon after.

KK giggles while taking a video of Ice carrying a bucket of water. "I swear if I go down, you're coming with me." Ice says as they enter Kai's room. Kai and Paige tangled together on the bed.

Ice throws the bucket of water on the two girls, them snapping awake. "What the fuck?" Kai speaks while wiping her eyes to get the water out of her eyes. Paige doesn't bother, already knowing whose fault it was. "KK!" She yells as she gets untangled from Kai and starts running after her.

Kai laughs watching the two of them run out of her room. Kai gets out of bed and hurries out to the hallway to see Paige almost caught up to KK. "Get her, P Boogers!" Kai cheers on, dripping water on the floor and a little bit onto Ice.

Kai turns to Ice, "oh, you should probably run too." Kai tells her before running after her as well. The four of them run around the dorms before getting complaints from the others and they head back to Kai's dorm.

Kai grabs her stuff as they stop by Paige's dorm so she could get ready for practice. "So, what were you two doing last night?" KK asks with an eyebrow wiggle— insinuating something happened between the two of them. Kai laughs at the girl, "we watched a movie and fell asleep." Kai answers simply just as Paige was coming out of the room with her bag. They all head to the gym.

Kai says hi to the players, giving them all hugs as she hasn't seen them in what felt like months but in reality was only a few days. Kai pouts realizing that the season was coming to a close soonish and she doesn't know how she'll survive without her team. Kai smiles, she didn't know when she started referring to them as her team but she felt like the mother of all of them.

Geno blows the whistle, all the girls heading to the bench where he was at. Kai leaves the main gym and heads to her office. Kai switches on the light, the light illuminating the dry room. Kai blows out a breath of air before going to work restoring the life in the room.

Kai grabs her cameras and heads back out to the gym to take some shots, having missed taking pictures. "Kay Dawg in the house!" Ayanna yells, catching the ball from under the hoop. Kai laughs as she raises her camera up and starts taking pictures of the girls, distracting them from actually practicing. "Guys, you have to practice!" She scolds as she brings the camera down. The girls laugh before focusing back on practice.

Kai does different angles and focusing techniques, wanting to make her photography better. Kai spends the rest of practice doing weird angles, different zooms, and different heights. Geno blows the whistle and all the girls gather around him. "Alright, we have a game tomorrow. I know it's New Year's Eve but you can celebrate that after we win tomorrow." Geno tells the girls. The girls cheer before breaking out and heading back to their dorm rooms to get some rest before the game.
