Scarlet claw woke me from my sleep, she looked at me her eyes furious.
"Why are you sleeping in you lazy Tom, Thislestar wants to see you in her den now!" She hissed, I flinched at her words and padded into Thislestars den.
"You wish to see me," I said.
"Of course now sit," she said, I sat down.
"Why is it you wish to see me?" I asked.
"I spotted a jet black cat with silver stripes and green eyes padding in our territory, she wishes to meet you by the lake as soon as you can, in other words now," Thislestar said, I got up and padded down to the lake. A voice behind me made me jump, she appeared out of the shadows.
"I have been waiting for you, it took you a while but you made it," she said.
"Sorry I am late, I fell asleep after the starclan cats sent us back to camp," I said, she nodded.
"I presume they haven't told you the prophecy either," she said.
"Yeah I find it odd," I said looking at the sky.
"May I ask your leader a question?" She said.
"Uh sure follow me," I said, we went back to camp and Thislestar padded out.
"May I see you in private she-cat," Thislestar said, she nodded.
"Good luck and be careful she gets angry easy," I said, she nodded and padded into Thislestars den. Later she emerged and Thislestar stood on high rock, I knew she was going to call a clan meeting. HollyWhisp sat down beside me, I looked at Thislestar once again.
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around to hear my words, we have a new cat joining our clan, her name is HollyWhisp, she says she was a born clan cat but her clan exiled her for what she says isn't true, murder, we will welcome her with respect or I give her permission to hurt any cat with none," Thislestar said, I looked at her with confusion.
"Did you kill a cat?" I asked.
"No but the deputy blamed me for murder," she said.
"Clan dismissed," Thislestar said flicking her tail.
"So HollyWhisp want to come hunting with me?" I asked.
"Sure are any other cats coming?" HollyWhisp asked.
"Sure we can take Swiftflight and Fireberry," I said, I gathered the other sand we went into the forest. We found good areas to hunt in the snow filled forest, all I managed to find was a few skinny mice and a skinny squirrel. I took my catch back to camp and the others arrived after me, in total we managed to catch; 6 skinny mice, 2 skinny squirrels, and 1 skinny vole. I looked at our catch with a worried expression, HollyWhisp padded up behind me.
"I am sorry we couldn't catch more," she said her voice sad.
"It's not your fault it's life during leaf bare, the worst part is we had an elder die a few days ago, his name was Bumbleleap, he was Thislestars brother," I said.
"So that's why she is acting strange," HollyWhisp said, I nodded and went into my den. Scarletclaw came in her eyes blazing, I looked up confused.
"So much for we were going hunting together, so much for there being an us, so much for your promises," Scarletclaw spat, I flinched as I remembered how I promised her we would go hunting together.
"I got caught up.........." I said but was cut off.
"You got caught up in what, loving the new she-cat, getting caught up in her eyes!" Scarletclaw spat again.
"Look I am sorry and if you can't ever see that then I guess we are over!" I spat, I flinched at my own words. Scarletclaw looked at me, her face that of shock.
"Fine, I hope you enjoy her," she said before running out of camp, I looked at my nest when HollyWhisp came in.
"What was that about?" She asked.
"She accused me of loving you, I do but I mean she was my mate but I think I may have messed up and said we were over," I sighed.
"It's going to be ok," she purred softly, she leaned against me and I purred softly.

Guys I will be talking in Scarletclaws pov for the rest of this chapter then it will switch back to Shatteredfangs next chapter.

I sat beside the lake, angry at Shatteredfang for what he said. He never broke promises but as soon as HollyWhisp shows up he falls in love with her. I scratched at the dirt and snow under my paws, I hissed in fury and a cat padded up behind me.
"Hey what was that about?" He asked.
"Me and Shatteredfang are no longer mates," I said, he sat beside me.
"That's horrible I knew he was selfish but I never thought he would do this to such a beautiful she-cat," Bluepoppy said, I looked at him and leaned against him.
"Thanks Bluepoppy," I said purring, we entwined tails and sat looking at the froze lake.
