Recap-

Gwaeneth's eyes saddened. 'more friends, family gone...' she thought. But, at least they would get her note. Returning to the present, "Its now or never..." She spoke quietly, going to the wardrobe and picking out a green traveling dress with pants, traveling shoes, and gloves. She put her daggers in the sheaths, her sword strapped to her side and put the rucksack that Gandalf had packed whilst she was talking to Diaval on.

"Okay, I'm ready." Gwaeneth spoke...not ready at all.
Gandalf nodded. He knew his granddaughter was in pain. But hopefully he could fill that void, and distract her by improving, and teaching her magic. One could only hope...

They both got on their horses and left Dale behind, heading for Lothlórien

I took a glance back at Dale and the top of the Lonely Mountain as we rode out of sight. A tear going down my cheek. 'When will I see them again?' I barely knew my grandpa. He rode ShadowFax, and I rode my mare, Aria. My Rucksack upon the horse. My weapons strapped on. Twin daggers upon my back, the bow given to me by Girion and quiver on top of them. (like how Legolas wears his Daggers, Quiver, and Bow.) My sword made and gifted to me by Thorin strapped to my side. The ring was snug on my right hand.

"Grandpa, how long will it take to get to Lothlórien?"
"My estimation is a little over a week. We have to pass through Esgaroth, The Green Wood, travel through The Old Forest Road until we meet The Anduin where we cross at Lorien."

(Their path above in red)

"Really, only a little over a week?"
Gandalf nodded. Taking out his pipe and starting to smoke.
"I truly am sorry I couldn't be their while your mother was sick, and again when your father was leaving this world."
"It's alright, grandfather. It...made me stronger. And I had family to help me through it, even if they're not blood related." I smiled.
"Mithan is watching us, so is your father. Have no doubt in that little flower."
"I know, grandpa."

We were now passing through Esgaroth. 'The furthest i've ever been from home.'

This place was overflowing with jewels, and fine stalls. It was Erebor's main trading partner.

Grandpa and I hurried throughout the town.
We couldn't ride, sadly. So I led Aria and Shadowfax followed grandpa. We found someone to take us to The Greenwood by barge, and of course paid them handsomely afterwards. The road led us onward to The Old Forest Road. It was beautiful. Deer were seen here and there, bunnies, animals of all sorts with bright green trees and sunshine shining down on us. I couldn't help but smile widely.

"This, has to be one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen." I spoke, looking around.
Grandpa laughed. "Yes, it is quite a beautiful place." He answered.
"What's Lothlórien like?" I questioned, my head turning.

He looked serious. "It's more beautiful then these woods."
"Really?" I asked, eyes wide.
He nodded. "It's the home of Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn, The Golden Wood."

"Now, lets pick up our pace."
I followed him and Shadowfax.
We were soon halfway out of the forest, or so I assumed.
When it was time to make camp.

I made an attempt at a fire, while Grandpa taught me certain things to improve.
From here on out.... It was about learning.

Come morning, we briefly ate, watered and fed the horses before we were back on the road.
We were on the road for nearly the whole day. Grandpa informed me that I'd be six or so days until we got to Lothlórien.

Days came and went. Rain, Sun, Fog, we saw it all - except snow.

Soon, we entered the Golden Woods. Grandpa, upon his horse Shadowfax put a hand on my shoulder to stop me.

I looked at him, confused.

Elves with very pointy arrows appeared.
"Mithrandir, you have returned. Follow me." A blond Ellon *male elf* spoke, motioning for the others to put their bows down.

"Come, Gwaeneth. There is much to learn." Grandpa spoke, following who I learned was Haldir.

Many, many, many stairs later we were at a platform where the Lady of Light stood with Lord Celeborn.

"Greetings, Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn." I spoke shyly, Bowing my head.
"Rise, Gwaeneth. You need not bow to me." She smiled.
"Mithrandir, it is nice to see you again." Lord Celeborn spoke.
"As it is you, my Lord."
"Your home is beautiful."
"Thank you, Gwaeneth. The Lady and I were hoping that it might become your home for a time."
"My home?" You wish me to live here, in Lothlórien?" I asked, bewildered.
Galadriel smiled.
'Take your time with decisions, Gwaeneth. You have lost much. However have hope. You will meet them again.' She spoke, using telepathy.
I nodded my head.

Looking between my Grandpa, the Lord and Lady I answered.
"I will stay, for a time."
