I was led on my bed on Friday night relaxing in the peace and quiet, until I get disturbed with "Hey you get up and get ready were going out tonight......well I am and I'm dragging you with me," Kerri yelled coming into the room. "If you're going to that stupid beach party you can forget it I'm not going. I mean what I said to Hayden and that's final," I said back and chucked a pillow over face and ears so I wouldn't have to hear what she had to say. Next thing I hear is thump next to me so I take the pillow away from my face to be face to face with her.

"Please. I always go ALONE, but this year I have a roommate and I want you to come with me," I gave out a huge sigh and replied "No Kerri I'm sorry and besides I ain't in the mood," I turned on my side to face the wall instead of her. She leant up on one elbow to steady herself so she could see me then whispered into my ear "Is it because of what happened with you and Elsa in the hallway," I turned back around to face her and went "A little, I feel proud in what I did, but......but we have never had a fight before. At least not one that I can remember, you know."

She laughed and says to me "Well then maybe going to this party with ME will get it off your mind," I thought about it and finally gave in and said "Okay fine I give in, but only, ONLY, this once you got it," she screeched yes loudly in my ear, pulled me into a hug and wouldn't let go. "Okay, okay you can let go now thanks," with that she let go and apologised. She jumped off the bed to go and get ready in the bathroom.

I went over to my closet and drawers and picked up these short black shorts, turquoise top and my sneakers. Not party looking outfit, but who cares, I'm not the party person anyway. I grab my snowflake patterned hoodie ready to leave until Kerri comes out looking like a model. She was wearing this long velvet delicate rose looking red dress, it was at least down to her knees and she looked beautiful. It also had this scarf look effect around the neck with three black buttons to hold it together. There were no sleeves so her arms were bare, which let her loose curls fall onto her shoulders making it spring up and down. Again she was beautiful much more than I could ever be I can tell you.

"Kerri you look amazing!" I complimented her. She smiled in return then look in horror at me "Tell me you are not wearing that to the beach party please," she judged. I looked myself up and down then nodded at her. She shook her head in disgust and said "I'm giving you a makeover, come here," she pulled me over and sat me down in the bathroom in the mirror. "Please Kerri no I'm fine I'm not a fancy looking person," she just shushed me and did her magic on me and I was afraid on how I was going to turn out.

She spun the chair around so I was facing the mirror once she was done and let me open my eyes. I was shocked to see the change she had done to me. It was a good different, a very good different but I couldn't get used to it. My hair was pinned up with a crocodile clip which made my hair fall down in curls at the top which made it cover the clip. She put makeup on me so I had this golden eye shadow which lightened up my eyes but only a little so it didn't look like so much. A touch of mascara to make my eyes stand out. I had pink blusher on my cheeks and this light lipstick attached to my lips. "I look," I stuttered and she finished "Beautiful," we both giggled, then she said "For the finishing touch," she dragged me back into the main room, sat me down the bed and rummaged through her closet.

She pulled at this long dress and came over to me and asked me to take off what I was wearing and put that on. "Um Kerri, I don't wear dresses," I told her but she shushed me and walked me back to the bathroom and left me to change. I changed quickly and wrapped the belt around my waist to finish the design. I slowly walked out to watch Kerri clasp her hands to her mouth in shock, horror, beauty I dunno so I said "What, it looks bad isn't it?" I asked. She shook her head and then cried "You look amazing, beautiful no wait stunning," I lowered my head in embarrassment.

I glanced in the mirror to find I was wearing this dress which fell to the back of me to about the floor length, not touching just above my feet and just under my knees. The front fell down to the top of my knees and I pleats going through it up to the belt so the dress would move side to side as I walked around. It had all this different flowers scattering all over the dress but most were roses. The colour was beautiful, it peach with tints of green to represent the flowers. I was wearing this slim brown belt around my wait to finish the design off with a glow that made me stand out.

"There is just one thing that is ruining the whole effect," Kerri commented standing next to me, "What is it?" I asked she turned me to face her and detached the glasses covering the golden eye shadows on my blue eyes. I blinked a few times so I could get a better view and she said turning me back to the mirror "Now you are even more stunning," I laughed and replied "Thanks," she hugged me and said "Now let's get to that party shall we," I nodded my head in shyness and we left the dorm behind us.
