you still believe that?

3rd person pov

kamari went back home and even thought she knew it could end badly, she didn't care. the door was open and she walked inside as she looked around and then went to the living room, she heard voices and she looked around the corner as she saw jason and crane and she stared. she didn't expect to see jason here ever again and she hated it.

she liked that he came home but after what he had done, after what he was doing to the titans, she hated his guts and never wanted to see him again.

she snuck up to her room and she closed her door as she managed to hide in her room and then she called to her mom.

"jason and crane snuck in" she stated and ivy sighed.

"I'm coming" she told her and she went to her room as she fell asleep. kamari and ivy shared the room as they waited for them to leave. she didn't know what she was doing, she didn't know what to do but she hated it.

"do you think you can catch him and stop this? " ivy asked her daughter and she shook her head

"of course fucking not but i need to do something" she stated and ivy nodded in understanding. that was when she heard his voice and saw that it was in the batcave and she looked at her mom.

"go do your thing" ivy told her and she nodded as she walked out of her room and went down to the batcave as she snuck down there quietly and leaned against the wall.

"hey there birdy" she called and as he looked over, she moved so he couldn't see her.

"mari, is that you?" he called

"take off the mask and find out" she stated and he spun to see her but she moved again. if he could play mind games, she could too.

"why should i?" he asked and she laughed.

"oh i don't know, maybe because you told me that you were going to fix this and stop this fucking thing but yet for some reason, youre here and I'm wanted dead or alive" she told him and she finally got out of hiding but she shot her vines out and wrapped them around him

"look, i can explain" he tried

"I'm done with your fucking explanations todd. i trusted you, you told me that you were done with crane, you told me that you were fixing this and youre not. youre a fucking liar and i trusted you, damn it jason. you made me fucking think you were going to get better" she exclaimed

"i am, i will fix this" he said and she shook her head

"you still believe that? you just broadcasted the fucking batcave and told everyone that you were going to kill Nightwing. you cant fix this, you fucked everything up, you had the chance to leave, to let this go and you didn't" she said and she let her vines drop him. he stared at her

"kamari please I'm sorry" he tried and she shook her head

"yeah ill believe it when i see it" she told him and she let the batcave as he watched her leave and he wished he could something about it but he couldn't. he just kept lying and telling secrets and it had finally caught up to him.

when she walked off , she let her vines wrap around her again and then she pulled them in. ivy stood in her room as kamari walked in and she looked at her mom

"you finally spoke to him?" she asked and kamari nodded.

"yeah but it wasn't good enough, he's too far gone and i cant do anything about it" she said and ivy sighed as she hugged her daughter and kept her close.

"do you think dicks going to meet up with him tonight and really go through with this?" ivy asked her and she sighed and nodded. she knew that dick would, she knew that he would never back down.

"of course he is and i don't doubt that jasons going to do something about it so i need to be there in the dark" she said and ivy sighed. she knew that her daughter would be there for it, she knew that her daughter would do anything for the titans even it meant putting herself in more danger then she already had been

"mar, do you really think that's a good idea?" she asked and kamari shrugged and shook her head

"no way, not at all, but someone has to be there in case it goes wrong and someone has to be there to stop it from ending badly, if that someone is me so be it" she said.

she left the house and followed after jason as she hid behind every corner and turn. she heard dicks voice but she knew he wasn't there. she knew that there was no way and she laughed as she watched. jason walked around the cars and stood in the middle of the road. he then ran and kamari ran too.

she sat on a tree as she watched the two brothers interact. jason brought out his guns as he began to fight dick and she watched the two of them. she didn't intervene, she didn't feel the need too.

until she heard voices and turned to see a crowd.

"oh fuck no" kamari sat and she jumped down as she made sure to stay in the shadows but began to send people away with her powers as fast as she could.

"finish it" jason said to dick and he dropped the gun as he began to walk away but that didn't matter

dick was shot and she couldn't help but blame herself for everything. at least rachel and gar home but they were going to have to help dick and they were going to have to do something about it.

kamari just didn't know if she was ready to do it yet.
