All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them. "

- Galileo Galilei

(Rouen, France, 9:00 PM)

" One plate to go, and we're done! " the elderly half-Kree woman smiled. The Kree-Lizard boy and his mother spent washing the dishes inside the kitchen which they had their turn after dinner.

" That's pretty tiring, Mom, " her son heavily sighed. " You're still up at this time. "

" Kid, I want to make my golden years on Earth to be more fulfilling, " she replied.

" Okay, question, who will you choose to be when it's your last day on this planet? "

Carol remained silent as Elder Vandark entered the room and eavesdropped at the conversation. She sighed and smiled as she had an answer. Her son intently looked at her and waited for her response. Her silence took a some time for her to think of that question.

" Honestly... I want to be with someone who would love me, but I haven't see him for a long time. Of course, it would be also you as well. "

The boy smiled back after wiping the dishes. He noticed the bearded paranormal scientist listening to their talk and asked, " Dr. Vandark? Are you becoming too nosy like the other people here? "

" Old men like him get more information! " Carol laughed.

Dr. Vandark laughed heartily, " I'm not that old and besides a lot of wisdom comes with age I will have you know."

" Got any scoop, Jusis, " the elderly half-Kree asked.

" My mother wants to be with someone else..." the hybrid teased her as his mother blushed.

" Really, Kid? You haven't met the old man, yet! "

The boy slightly smiled and began to pause from what he was doing. Vandark and Carol noticed his sudden silence. The joke from the old lady meant something to him. Vandark held up a brief case with a combination lock on it. The case was metal with the same symbol on its front as the lab they had once stayed in after they first met.

" I stumbled across this in a safe in that lab a while back and figured it may prove useful."

" I do have to tell you something, " the boy replied. " My mother knew of this before you came here. "

The paranormal scientist curiously raised an eyebrow and turned to the old half-Kree woman, " Really? Are you psychic ma'am? "

" Well, Your friend "Svet " has told me of his dreams meeting the Kree Eternal aside from the memories of SCP-682. He started to draw some sketches from his other journal and write everything, " Carol replied.

Vandark giggled excitedly and pulled up a chair, " Sounds fascinating!"

" Wait, I'll show you his journals. Mostly, they're written in French or Russian. "

" Mom, do you have to? " the boy asked and nervously laughed.

" Kid, you might need someone who could interpret your dreams, " she replied. " I'll be right back, boys. "

Carol left the room as the boy and the paranormal scientist waited for her return. It took a while when she took her son's journals. Vandark curiously looked at them when the half-Kree woman returned and showed them to him.

" Hmmm, I can make out some of it. The illustrations are vivid..." Vandark said intrigued.

The boy carefully turned the pages as he translated his written words in English.

" A blue skinned man appeared in front of me in the mirror, " he read. " He has the same emerald eyes and face as mine. He was copying what I acted. He spoke the same words as mine. I didn't know how he got there in the first place. The only thing I knew before I met this man was a strong flash of bluish white light coming from the room. He might be the one who I have been looking for several years. "

" Maybe... or it could relate to something within yourself.....something true."

" Myself? " the boy curiously raised his voice. " How come? I'm just a clone of that demon. I didn't know why I have those dreams with the Kree or 682. It's just they come out. "

" Kid, you have been looking for him for a long time, " Carol replied and held his hands. " You could have been over thinking about your hero to come into your life. "

" What does it mean? "

Vandark curiously thought and stroked his chin, " Are you sure? I get a special feeling from you, Svet. Something about you always seemed off to my sixth sense..."

" Sixth sense? What is that? "

The paranormal took a chocolate bar out of his pocket and broke a piece off with his teeth as the mother and son looked at him and intently listened.

" I study ghosts and the paranormal. It is bad idea to do so without some level of psychic power, " he replied.

" You mean the power of the Light Soul, right? " the elderly half-Kree woman asked.

He shrugged, " I can sense when something is off be it a person or a environment and or object. You give my skin goosebumps, Svet."

" Wait, was that the time I died some years ago in Ukraine? " he asked. " I saw something in the dark tunnel. It was a light coming from the other end. The dead people saw my soul began to illuminate. Then, I didn't know where I was going. I ended up in outer space where I have been lost for five days. Then, I saw the same Kree man with long silvery white hair who told me to return to Earth. "

" Kid, can you show us that page? " Carol requested.

The hybrid nodded and took another page of an illustration and the exact description written in Russian. Vandark nodded as he remembered the testimony of afterlife.

" Ah yes, I remember. I think this energy around you may be tied to its DNA. What's in this brief case might interest you, maybe even give you answers. I was excited when i found it."

" What do you mean by that? " he asked.

" Well, I'm supposed to tell him of something..." Carol added and turned to her son and the paranormal scientist. She felt hesitant to tell the truth as the boy got curious of his mother's words. " But yeah, Jusis. Go ahead..."

Vandark opened the brief case and pulled out a long sheet of paper with blue prints of a strange chamber device with instructions in Latin. The boy curiously looked at it and scratched his head as he had never seen it before.

" I can't read in Latin though. " she replied.

" Mom? Is there something I should know? "

" Kid...we better talk about that soon. Not, now. "

Vandark smirked, " Ah but I can. It is interesting for two reasons. One, the patent is listed in the year 600 AD. Secondly, the device was finished much later and stamped with the seal of the Vatican."

" Well, we're not even sure if it does exist, " Carol shrugged and raised her eyebrows in doubt. " Since the Vatican City has been destroyed by the Kree and Lizards in 2031. Every artifacts and relics got stolen by them. "

" Why look for it when I can build it, I have the parts. According to the specs, it is a machine that can change and separate genetic codes."

" Interesting, " she commented. " It seems to be more complex than the Project Marvel in the MTF. "

The boy widened his eyes in shock as he heard the organization which he got afraid. Carol instantly covered her mouth and felt embarrassed. Vandark curiously looked at the two.

" Mom? " the hybrid raised his voice. " Are you okay? Do you need to..."

" Kid... It's just an experiment which I heard of. Don't worry, I'll tell you all about it, soon, " she nervously chuckled and made an excuse.

" You sure have more surprises than I have. "

Vandark crunched another chunk of chocolate bar, " Do you know what this means, Svet? I can separate the lizard from you and free you from your curse."

" Well, that might be interesting, " the boy smiled and teased. " But I'm pretty sure my mother has to tell further. She has more secrets! "

" Kid, really? " she chuckled.

" Come on, mother! Maybe, I can be normal boy anytime soon! You're going to have a real son! " he hugged the old lady.

" Yeah, I really wish to have an offspring by other means, " she smiled and gently poked his head.

" But aside from that, Dr. Vandark. Do I have the chance to see the Kree Eternal in the flesh? "

The paranormal scientist kept thinking as the boy waited for an answer. He was still hoping to see his hero which he had wanted for years. Carol looked at her son as she remained silent and more hesitant to tell the truth. Jusis eyed her with suspicion and stroked his goatee his secrets being kept sixth sense radar was going nuts.

" I really wanted to tell this, but I guess it's not the right time, " she slightly smiled.

" Why? "

" Kid, It's very complicated, but I want to know whatever happens, I will always be your mother no matter what..."

Vandark raised an eyebrow and shook his head, " Drop it for now, Svet. We can worry about this later after we work on what I have."

" Right..." he smiled and nodded.

" Go ahead, Kid..." Carol spoke and kissed his forehead." Just don't stay up late, all right? "

" Yes, mom. "

The elderly half-Kree woman left as the boy stayed with the scientist. Vandark held up a flashlight with a red lens different than the one he used before. He turned it on opening a rift to his new lab.

" What's this? " the boy asked.

He beamed happily , " I have been working with the concept of light fracturing technology. Red light is easy to manipulate hence why it is used in lasers. I found out how to use red light to open rifts. I can only open them to my lab at the moment..."

" Interesting, " he smiled and became fascinated with the light. " Is this how stars are made? "

Vandark nodded, " Well sort of... the crystal, I use in my new red light is from a dwarf star."

" I have read books about stars before I met you here. So, how will you make of this one? "

" I will show you the process and the schematics once we pass through to my lab, " the expert said amused by his young friends interest in science.

" Oh, right, " the boy smiled as he recalled his cosmonaut training days in Star City.

They stepped through the rift and emerged in a bright lab with several incomplete robots, a big computer and an ancient Japanese army suit that stood motionless holding a hot cup of coffee and a donut.

" Did the Rebel Forces help you move your things here? " he asked.

Vandark grabbed his belongings as the armor's head moved in the hybrid's direction on its own.

" Yes, they did! " he laughed " Then, the armor attacked two of them..."

" Jared must have been asking a lot of questions about your things. You know he's just like his great uncle, the curious one. "

" The armor did not mean any harm. He was just protecting my things, " he pointed to the hybrid. " Bladeus, this is Svet, a friend and Svet, this is Bladeus, a disgraced prince that died during the Ming dynasty." he said casually.

" Hi...." the boy curiously raised his tone and waved his hand.

The armor began to use sign language at a fast pace as Vandark laughed," No, Svet is just a curious one, but yes harmless."

Bladeus extended his hand for a handshake as the boy cheerfully smiled and responded with the same gesture to the armor.

" Oh! " he laughed. " How friendly he is! "

" Yes, but sadly not much for conversation.."

" Oh...okay..." he nodded and thought of something as he showed a picture of the Kree Eternal from his journal. The boy seemed asking if Bladeus had some idea. The armor intently looked at the hybrid and the picture and began to sign and pace at the same time in a frantic matter with a furious sign language. Vandark raised an eyebrow.

" What does he mean? " the boy asked.

" Odd, he says he has seen that person before somewhere, before the invasion, " the scientist remarked.

Bladeus signed several quick signs and pointed to his chest. He opened his chest and removed a smaller container and handed it to the hybrid. Inside the small box like container, there was a series of documents on the Kree Eternal and an SCP file marked the armored hero with a profile picture of the armor and his info. Vandark ran over and snatched the container out of his friend's hands and began pouring over the documents since they were in English.

" Are these from the Kree Eternal? " he curiously asked and carefully read the documents.

Jusis studied the documents thoroughly, " Hmm... Some lists of known aliases and locations. Like, he was seen doing at the time and pictures of strange people he was seen talking too. A projection of where he might be going in the future." he pointed an angry finger at Bladeus. " And you had this in your chest compartment this entire time!"

Bladeus shrugged and pointed at the boy signing in a agitated fashion as the scientist became even more angry.

" What do you mean you were waiting for him!?"

" I don't understand...." the boy got confused, scratched his head, and exclaimed. " What are you guys arguing about?! What's going on? "

Bladeus pointed to his SCP document signing the word read over and over in an agitated fashion. The Kree-Lizard boy closely checked the document as he couldn't read it since the words were redacted and some written in a strange extraterrestrial language.

" What language is this?! It's not written in English or any language I knew! I can't read it! "
