Nightwing sighed.

He checked every one of the locations.

And all of them had suspicious characters that came in.

(It was Bludhaven, duh!)

Nightwing stretched as he walked to his motorcycle.

He had to go meet someone.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Vixen woke up in a bedroom.
"What?" Vixen asked as she looked around.
"Hey, Vixen." she heard Black Canary's voice.
"Hey. Everyone okay? And where are we?" Vixen asked.
"Everyone's fine." Artemis said.
"As for were we are, I have no idea." Kid Flash said.
"How is the Justice League coming with our kidnappings?" she heard Robin ask.
"It's slow. Nightwing didn't take your kidnapping too well, Robin. He had to be taken off the case." Vixen said.
There was no reply from Robin.
"What?" Wally asked, in shock.
"Yeah, threatened several people and tried to go on his own." Vixen said.
"Shesh." Dove said.
"You're brother wasn't any better either, Dove. He got into a fight with Batman. Got him real mad." Vixen informed.
"Man, this is just...sad. I'm tired of being in here." Dove frowned.
"Any ideas of who kidnapped us all?" Vixen asked.
"None." Artemis said.
"Great." Wally said.
"And it will stay that way." A deep, dark voice said, echoing throughout the hallway.
"Cape! Let us go!" Vixen yelled.
"Cape? That's a stupid name. No, I go by..." the cape trailed off.
"Go by what?" Robin growled.
"Shush! I was pausing for dramatic effect!" Cape yelled.
"Well?" Black Canary asked after a moment of silence.
"Actually, I'll stay with Cape. Or the Cape. It's stupid enough for the Titans to not recognize." Cape said.
"The Titans? You mean the Teen Titans?" Kid Flash asked.
"Yes." Cape said.
"Why don't you want the Titans to know the name you go by?" Dove asked.
"Because, I was their enemy once." the Cape said.
He walked out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Nothing." Nightwing said at the meeting that night.

"How do you have nothing?" Hawk asked, a tad bit angry.

"I mean I have nothing. Too many people fit the small description of the Cape's height. Plus they go to those stores and all are suspicious. I need more information to lower the count!" Nightwing said.

"How many candidates?" Superman asked.

"About 100." Nightwing said.

"100?!" Flash was surprised.

"What do you expect? I have the Cape's height to go on! That's all I have! If I had a little more information, I could lower that number." Nightwing growled.

"It's what we have to work with." Batman growled.

"But it's not enough. We need more intel." Stargirl said.

"It was hard enough getting this Cape's height." Supergirl said.

"I know." Stargirl sighed.

"Then it's simple on what we have to do." Batman said as he got up from his seat.

"Uhm...how do we get intel if the Cape's height was this hard to get?" Stargirl asked.

Batman smirked.

"Oh gosh! He's smirking!" Flash cried out.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"You're sure this will work?" Red Robin asked.
"Yeah, B, I know we're the only ones that know about this plan, but seriously?" Red Hood asked.
"It will work. Just be ready." Batman said.
Jason shook his head, but held up Aquaman's trident.
"This better work." Jason growled.
"Cape spotted on the Bank's roof." Oracle called.
That meant that the Cape would be here in two minutes.
"Ready, Supergirl?" Superman asked, hidden behind a chimney.
The Bats and Supers were in Metropolis, everyone else in the Watch Tower, watching.
"Ten seconds." Oracle said in their comms.
Sure enough, the Cape was suddenly attacking Supergirl with a piece of kryptonite.
"NOW!" Batman yelled as he and Superman jumped out from behind some chimneys.
Jason threw the trident at the Cape, getting his cape caught.
The Cape glared at Jason before ripping the cape, leaving behind a piece of it.
Cape however got away, evading Batman and Superman, and somehow took Supergirl with him.
"Shit!" Jason cussed.
"Dang it!" Superman yelled and punched one of the chimneys, breaking it quite easily.
"That was informative." Batman said.
"How was THAT informative?!" Superman yelled, "Supergirl is now GONE!"
"We have a piece of his cape and we know that he has access to kryptonite." Batman said.
"Supergirl is gone though." Superman said.
"Yes, but she sacrificed herself to give us information." Batman said.
"Doesn't mean that I like it." Superman said.
"You don't have to. You just have to help us find where they are, then you can have her back home." Batman said.
"Fine. Let's get this to the Watch Tower and analyze it." Superman said.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

'ANALYSIS COMPLETE' the computer lit up a few hours later.

They were back in the Watch Tower.

"Great, lets see what we have." Flash said, looking over the material and potential places to get it, along with all the particulates on it.

"Well, this is great." Flash said.

"What?" Jason frowned, asking what everyone wanted to know.

"Well, I found the materials of the cape. It's a light, flexible kevlar, like Batman's cape. That's not what's bad though. Well, it is a bit bad, you can find this material just about anywhere. It's the particulates on it that's bad. There's a chemical compound on it that's unique to one of our villains. Gotham's to be more exact." Flash said.

"Oh great, this Cape is one of our crazies then?" Red Robin asked.

"No, none of the villains' psychological evaluations fit this." Batman said.

"Not even Joker?" Red Hood asked.

"No, but close." Flash said.

He typed in a few things and up was brought the compound to the particulates he found.

"Scarecrow's fear gas?" Hawk asked.

"There's so much on this cape that every time the Cape put it on, it's like getting another dose of it. And I doubt that the Cape is aware of it." Flash said.

"So, this Cape is afraid of heroes, so it's kidnapping them?" Stargirl asked.

"Not to be that person, but, why not kill them? Or run away?" Jason asked.

"Something's not right here." Batman said.

"What if- what if he's not scared of them?" Tim asked.

Everyone looked at him, "What?"

"What if he's scared for them?" Tim asked.

And the plot thickens.
