A face about to cry under the low, rumbling sky

Yozora, Zeon and Rukia stand in the middle of Tokyo, where the skies are grey, the clouds are raining, and everyone else is moving around them except them.

Iradachi majiri no tsuba wo haku
I spit out saliva tinged with anger

Zeon looks to the floor and spits out frustratedly.

Nani mo kamo ga kowaresou na fuan daite asu ni obie
I'm worried everything's going to break, and fear the coming tomorrow

Yozora looks up to the sky and holds his hand up to the rain. Rukia takes a step forward and begins running away.

Asatte bakka miteta tte
They say I look like an idiot

While she runs, she bumps into Kakusei, who is walking under the rain. He looks at Rukia, smiles, then walks past her, and frowns bitterly.

Kotae wa denai koto datte wakatteru
I understand the answer is something that can't be seen

Kakusei looks to his right, and sees a shadow come towards him. Fear fills his eyes as he gets knocked to the ground.

Kagirinaku hirogaru masshiro na ashita ni nani wo egaku
Draw something on the endlessly vast white tomorrow

Yozora emerges from the shadows, covered in black flames. The black flames consume him and turn into Dragonic Overlord the Black. Following that, Ayaza is standing underneath him, looking forward with a smirk.

Genjitsu ga someyuku makkura na ashita ni nani wo egaku
Reality is a picture drawn on a black-stained tomorrow

Ayaza is staring at Crystal Edge Dragon, who has Kristy standing underneath her. Kristy looks back at Ayaza, narrowing her eyes with a smug smile.

Mogakikagayaku
Writhing and shining

Yozora is caught in the crossfire, his body shattering. As a result, he's split into the broken pieces of himself and his shadow that starts to glitch.

Kagirinaku hirogaru masshiro na ashita ni nani wo egaku
Draw something on the endlessly vast white tomorrow

The scenery becomes translucent white as everything breaks away. All that's left is Yozora's shadow. Standing in the middle of the white plane is a man with white hair, red eyes, and a sinister grin.

Genjitsu ga someyuku makkura na ashita ni nani wo egaku
Reality is a picture drawn on a black-stained tomorrow

Yozora's shadow lingers underneath him, before disappearing. Dove feathers fall around the man as the light shines down on him.

Mogakikagayaku
Writhing and shining

The light clears and returns everything back to the city where it's still grey and raining. The title "Cardfight!! Vanguard G: Z World" appears, then shatters.

Mikansei no pazuru
The puzzle is incomplete

Yozora walks down a pitch black staircase. A faint flicker of light follows him, but he ignores it.

Doushite darou? Nanika ga tarinai
I wonder why? I can tell something is missing

Yozora steps forward, and a faint flash of light appears in front of him. He ignores it and continues to walk forward with a grimace.

Ikichigai no unmei
Our fates have become misaligned

He continues to walk down the spiralling staircase. Another faint flash of light appears before him. Yozora stops for a second, then continues walking.

Hanareteyuku koto mo shirinagara
But even knowing that they'll drift further away

It's noticeable that the staircase he's walking down has been broken and damaged slightly. Yozora walks again, but this time two flashes of light appear in front of him. He stops, takes a deep breath, and marched forward.

Mata aruku
I walk again...

The stairs are beginning to crumble before Yozora as he holds his breath. His face begins to contort and become light purple.

I stay alive

Yozora continues to walk down the disintegrating staircase, holding his breath and ignoring the numerous flashing lights in his face. Slowly, faint memories can be seen hidden within the light.

Ima wa hitori yami o samayou dake
Now I'm wandering alone through the darkness

Yozora continues to walk forward, almost missing steps and nearly tumbling down the stairs. His face at this point has become deformed and his chest is bending backwards. The flashes light continue, before illuminating the entire staircase around Yozora.

Souteigai no setsunasa ga mune no naka kienu mama de
That unexpectedly crippling pain remains in my heart, never fading...

Yozora stares at the flashing lights that surround him. Unable to escape, and realising he cannot go any lower, he collapses to the floor as a dead husk. Empty and void of any emotion. His body is covered in black flames, and turns into ashes.

A few metres in front of his remains, a man with white hair, red eyes, and a sinister smile looks down at his bare feet. His naked body is bathed in light. Dove feathers fall around him as he walks forward, before the screen cracks.
