Chapter 3…

As she pondered. Thor attacked with his hammer. Sending them a wave of the undea into houses. He raised his hammer and brought it down. The ground cracked and trees crashed around them. The undead fell like flies. “I feel like I'm missing something!” she shouted. Being appeared beside her and she smiled weakly.  Claire hugged him tightly feeling relieved. “Where’s Loki?!” she asked.

“I saw him get off Naglfar and head into the cave of Fenrir," he said. "Wait for me and we’ll go after him!" she shouted urgently. The celebration was cut short when a loud roar filled the air. Everyone looked up in horror. “It can’t be!” “Nidhogg!!”  “But how did  he escape?!” Thor shouted, nervousness written all over his face!

Claire bit her nails, panicking about what to do. She felt tempted to stay and help, but she had no choice but to go after Loki and stop him. Claire turned once more and cast an anxious look towards everyone struggling to ward off the undead along with Nidghogg. She shook her head and  raced away from them.

Claire had arrived at the center of the town square. She immediately saw him. “Atlas!” she shouted. He looked down in surprise. “Claire what’s going on?” he asked, a little worried. “Just Ragnarok, that’s all, '' she said casually.

“Ragnarok?!” Atlas shouted. Claire nodded grimly. “I feel scared to be honest, but there’s no greater glory than fighting during Ragnarok,” he said, smirking. Claire rolled her eyes, but remembered why she was here. She briefed him on what was happening and he understood. Claire took a step back and her aura changed. Claire placed her right palm on the ground and raised it up with a swipe.

The ground shook and cracks appeared. Beams of darkness snaked around and made a tangled pattern. It shimmered and glowed momentarily. The summon circle went still. A rift opened and a powerful geyser of shadows shot out. The shadows warped, whilst shrieking menacingly in anger.

They strained and tried to launch themself into an attack, but Claire held them tightly with her mind. The shadows stopped moving and their particles formed a sturdy pillar twice Atlas’ height. They had no problem holding up the  sky.

Atlas stared at her in awe and shock. He hesitated before moving his arms around. He jumped and whooped with joy. “Thanks so much Claire!” he shouted in joy.  “Don’t thank me yet” “Ragnarok is just beginning” she shouted.  Atlas grinned and ripped the ball of chain off him, like paper. He held it and looked at her. “The undead are ahead,” she said pointing. He nodded and carried Claire in his hand, then went stomping towards the undead.

Claire pointed down at Being and Atlas dropped her. Being waved at Atlas. Claire turned in time to see Atlas swinging and smashing groups of undead with the heavy ball of chain. The deadly fight was oddly gorgeous and mesmerizing.

Claire turned back out of breath and nodded to Being. “Let’s go!” she whispered seriously. Being nodded and took off fast. He headed straight up into the sky. Claire whistled and pegasus appeared. She hopped on and told him to follow being. They raced across land, forests and the sea.

The wind blew violently in her face and she almost fell off  Pegasus. They flew further and further, far away from everybody. The air got colder  and icier with a shrill. Claire immediately felt it and sensed something was off. She put up her guard. She looked beneath her and saw Pegasus was getting tired. She glanced down and squinted.  Being had landed on an island.

She pointed downward and Pegasus landed.
