"Here you go, Hu's case file!" Duke declared, setting a folder down on the desktop. Smiling gratefully, Gidget hopped up onto the chair beside the giant Newfoundland mix. She was so excited. Her very first case! Of course, she had thirty six hours to figure it out or she would be fired. But it was her first case! Wagging her tail, she opened the folder.

There was barely anything inside of it.

"What?!" Gidget cried, staring at what she had in front of her. There was only one sheet of paper and there was barely any information on it. There were also two pictures inside, one being the high school picture of a teenaged white tiger. The other was printed out on the paper. Other than those items, there was nothing else in the folder. Gidget could already tell that she would need more than a week to solve this case and that was time she did not have.

"Holy crap! That's the smallest case file I have ever seen!" Duke exclaimed, peering over Gidget's shoulder. Taking a doughnut and swallowing it whole, he laughed a little as he went on, "Last known location, unknown. Witnesses, none. And you're not in the system yet so you can't see stuff like his contacts or what not! Oh, I hope you didn't bet your job on this!" Dread written all over her face, Gidget mumbled, "I sorta did..."

"Oh... uh..." Duke mumbled, "Ya wanna talk about it?"

Shaking herself, Gidget sighed softly as she looked at the paper. She was a bit surprised that Daisy, a Shih Tzu, had a tiger for a son. Getting over that small fact, she examined the photo printed on the paper. There were actually three and they were screenshots from a security camera. All three showed Hu walking on the sidewalk. The first though was a bit mysterious because it looked like he was talking to someone hidden in the alley. The second photo revealed a little bit of the mysterious person.

The tail feathers of a red tailed hawk.
