You flatten off your shirt slightly as you walked out of your room. Alz walked beside you down the hall a large smile on her face. You both walked in silence for a time you occasionally tugged on the t shirt you were wearing. Alz spoke up.

"I've been meaning to ask you.." she said continuing to stare forward, "why do you sleep shirtless, but always keep that sleeve over your right arm?" 

Your eyes widened, "Well... I..." you ran your fingers over the black sleeve over your whole arm and over your middle finger as well effectively covering your whole arm, "Well my right arm is weaker than my left so I need the sleeve to help support it." You lied, it felt bad lying to Alz especially after she and her family has shown you 

"Oh! Ok! Sorry I didn't know!" She said still smiling as she lead you down the hall into the dinning room 

You sat down beside her brother Cor, short for Corrien, and he smelled like oil as usual. Alz sat on your other side. Her father sat at the end of the table. He was a large man, he was like a jolly santa, though more murderous. A murderous Santa Claus. He was a kind man with a large family, biological and nonbiological. As nonbiological there was Kai sitting in front of you. He had bug like antennae coming from his head, at the moment they were glowing a warm blue color. You weren't sure when he joined the family, but you could tell he's been here for years. You knew Alz and her four brother were his biological children, they looked like their mother and father. From what you could tell Alz was the only daughter in the family. Soon their mother came out of the kitchen with a few of her sons carryings plates. One was placed before you. Everyone seated at the table you began to eat. Their fathers rumbling laugh echoed the dinning room. 

"So what are my sons planning on doing today?" He chuckled 

"I'm gonna be working on the weapons again, let's hope they don't explode.... again." Kai muttered between mouth full of eggs 

"Ah what about my other sons?" 

"Working." 

"Helping Ma 'round the house." 

"Fixing said house." 

"Going to check on the thing." 

"Gonna get more MegaFruit." 

The father laughed at you continued to eat quietly. You stared at your food and continued eating. 

"And how about my daughters?" His low voice rumbled 

"What are we doing today (y/n)?" Alz said trying to contain herself 

You focused on your food not focusing on the conversation. Cor nudged you slightly and you snapped to attention.

"Hmm?" You furrowed your brows your mouth full of eggs 

The whole table rumbled in laughter. You were still confused. You looked around the table at the people smiling largely and laughing. You cast your gaze over to Alz. She pat your shoulder wheezing. 

"He just called you his daughter." Your eyes widened as you looked at him 

"Welcome to the Fregilezi Family!" Everyone cheered 

You dropped your fork, "Really!?" 

"Well of course, darling, I would love to have another lady in the family." The mother chuckled, "Let alone we need a few more female minds in the gang." 

You laughed, "You really want me in the family?" 

"Yes of course! I want you to be my sister!" Alz laughed swinging an arm around your shoulders, "And were gonna welcome you to the family at the restaurant today!" 

You laughed happily grabbing her arm with and nuzzling yourself into her. You smiled boldly your newest best friend was now your nonbiological sister. You never had any siblings. It was nice. Everyone reached over and patted your shoulder or head. Soon breakfast was over and Alz was dragging you to her room. She sat you down in front of her vanity and turned on the lights around the mirror. Blinded for a second you took a few blinks and rubbed your eyes. 

"Ok so since your hiding from someone you need to change up your look." Alz laughed griping your shoulders, she ran her fingers over her fingers over a strand of your hair, "Might I suggest we start with your hair?" 

You swallowed heavily. You have never cut it before this, like seriously cut it short. You brushed your fingers over it. You never changed it, but then again you were never hiding from Rick. Your eyes were wide as Alz dug out some scissors from the drawer. You stared at your face you looked more tired than before, it was time for a change. 

"Ok, let's do this.." you chuckled softly, "Don't make it look like shit." 

Alz chuckled and snipped the scissors together, "Why must you doubt me?" 

She spun the chair you were sitting in so you were facing away from the mirror. She ran a brush through your hair flattening it more. She held a strand in her hand and brought the blade of the scissors to it. You closed your eyes as she closed the scissors with sharp shinkt. You felt the hair drift down to the floor. She continued to cut your hair and ran a comb through it as well. 

"Aaaaaaaannnnddd...... done!" Alz said cheerily as she spun your chair back around 

"Whoa." You whispered running a hand through the longer part. 

It was half of your head was short, kinda fuzzy, and the other half was long down to your jaw. It was a more sassy look, but it was sexy as hell. It complemented your small face, and it looked nice. You smiled over at Alz.

"See I told you, you'd like it!" She smiled she held a makeup brush, "Let's continue shall we?"
