Hey Guys!

Before I start the chapter, I need to apologize for it being so late.

As you know, I was in Disneyland and then I saw my best friend and I got distracted.

Anyway, I met Hiro and Baymax in Tomorrow Land!! It was SO COOL I TOTALLY FANGIRLED!!!

It's ok though he didn't judge me for fangirling.

Anyway, Hiro and I talked about fanfiction and it turns out that he reads Big Hero 6 stories (lol) and I told him I wrote, and he said I should write a BH6 story!

so I think I might.

no regrets.

Mercy's POV

I stood by the firepit in the Great Hall in my nicest clothes and my best smile. My dad had his hand on my shoulder, and Mom was holding Stoick to my left. Toothless was behind all of us, wrapping his tail by out feet. Stormfly just had her head poking out from behind us. I'll admit, standing like this is tiring. I just wanna lay on the floor and go to sleep right now. I was n my nicest clothes, black cloth pants, a light grey t-shirt with a black vest and my normal boots, which were a dark shade of brown. It elt like we had been stading hre for hours, but I'm wathcing th elight outside from the doors of the Great Hall, which were cracked open just a bit. Ugh I wish there was a thing that just took a picture with the press of a button or something. That would be much easier.

"How long have we been standing here like this?" I whispered wih out moving any other parts of me.

"About an hour." Dad replied in the same whisper. "Why do you ask?"

"Because being still and quiet like this is driving me nuts. I'm not a very calm person."

"You really think I don't know that?" He asked sarcastically. "And besides, you'll have to do this again."

"What? Oh no way is that happening. Why?"

"I'll tell you when we're done here."

"What are you two babbling about?" Mom asked. Dad whispered something into her ear that I couldn't hear. "Oh. Ok. Well be still. Both of you." She faced forward again and smiled. I looked towards the doors and tried to figure out a way to pass the time.

-1 hour later-

"All done!" Bucket announced. I almost sprinted out of the Great Hall.

"Bucket this looks amazing! Mercy come here and look at this!" Mom told. I groaned slightly and trotted over to the painting.

"Looks great. Now can I go? I've been couped up in a building for hours. I'm going crazy!"

"Yes Mercy you can go. Be back at the house for dinner." Dad said and I raced out towards Jade's house. Once I was there I frantically knocked on the door.

"Gods Mercy one knock is enough don't you think?" Jade groaned with a tired look.

"Did you just wake up?"

"Yes. It's 9:30."

"Oh wow. Well get dressed I just got done with the portrait and I need to do something. Meet back here, I'll go get Cody." I went off to his house as she shut her door. His house was only about 2 doors down so it didn't take me long. I repeated my frantic knocking, only this time I didn't get a tired answer.

"Hey! How did the painting go?" He greeted.

"Went great, looked fabulous now come on I need to do something today!" I said as I dragged him by his arm back towards Jade's house. I knocked on her door once again, but this time less frantically since my hand hurt from knocking so much.

"Ok what are we doing today?" Jade asked as she stepped outside.

"I was hoping you guys had some ideas." I shrugged.

"Oh you drag me out of bed and expect me to come up with something to do? Your expectations of me are very high." Jade stated sarcastically.

"My expectations for everyone are high. Now come on, let's figure out something to do." I said.

Astrid's POV

"Where are we gonna hang this?" I asked, staring at the painting on the easel.

"Well we could hang it in here," Hiccup replied, motioning to the great hall. "Or at the house." He finished.

"I think I like the idea of having it in the house. We have no paintings and the walls have a lot of space."

"Alright let's take it back to the house."

~at lé house~

"Right there is perfect." I said and smiled. I sighed slightly. "Best picture ever. Except for the one of you and Stoick. I love that picture."

"I remember that day. I found that treasure of Hamish the first or whatever his name was." He told.

"Yeah and when that Avalanche happened all of us thought you died or buried alive." I snapped.

"Until I made a mountain cave in and lived. You should know me Astrid, I cheat death a lot."

"Yeah and it's starting to drive me insane." He laughed.

"At least death never wins." There was a knock on the door. Hiccup walked over and opened the door, revealing a happy looking Valka.

"I wanna see that painting." She said and walked into the house.

"And good morning to you too?" Hiccup questioned sarcastically.

"Oh this is beautiful. It doesn't even look like a painting. It's like I'm staring right you. But you're right there." She turned and motioned to where Hiccup, Stoick and I were standing. "Yes, Bucket did an excellent job. Wait, where's little Mercy?"

"She ran off with her friends. She's not good with stillness and silence for long periods of time." I replied. "She's somewhere around the island."

"Did she take a dragon with her?" Hiccup whispered to me.

"Toothless followed her. I don't even think she knows he's with her."

Mercy's POV

"I win!" I shouted as I reached the top of the tree. I looked below and saw Jade, and then Cody close behind. "Oh come on you guys! Can it really be so hard to climb a tree?"

"Well you picked the tallest one on Berk!" Jade snapped. "We've only lived here for like a year! You've been here ten!"

"That doesn't make a difference. This is the second time I've climbed a tree on this island. I'm usually flying or climbing mountains." I smiled as the leaves at the top of the tree rustled.

"Well the question is now, how are we going to get down?" Cody questioned, looking down. "If we drop, we're dead."

"That's why we aren't gonna drop nitwit!!" Jade sassed as she sat on a branch.

"Oh would you two stop. I'll just call Toothless." I whistled and seconds later, a black dragon head poked out of the leaves next to me. I jumped slightly. "Have you been following us?" He nodded a bit. I laughed and pulled myself onto his back. He hovered down, grabbing Jade and Cody with his claws and setting them in the cove. We landed in front of them and I slid off his back. "Thanks Toothless." He happily grumbled and laid down in the shade.

"Well that's something I'm never doing again." Cody said as he brushed himself off.

"What? You just climbed a tree." I pointed out.

"No I meant get carried by a dragons claws! It's not as fun as you may think."

"That was just the easiest way. Plus it was Toothless's idea." His ears perked up and he looked at me. "Don't give me that look Toothless." He did his little laugh and went back to sleep.

"It's still weird to me that you ride dragons. You've made a sport out of riding dragons. You don't hear about islands racing dragons very often." Jade said.

"Oh gods there's a dragon race today! I gotta get Toothless back to dad!" I whistled and Toothless woke up and trotted over. I climbed on his back. "Meet me at the Chiefs chair near the baskets." I told and took off. We were going pretty fast, almost as fast as when dad flys with him. I landed outside the house within probably a minute and burst through the door. "Dad you know there's a race today right?"

"Oh I forgot! Thank you for reminding me!" Dad said and raced out the door. Mom walked over to me.

"Take your brother I'm competing in this one. Your grandmother will be at your fathers chair waiting for you two." Mom stated, handed me Stoick, and ran out to Stormfly. Cody and Jade walked in, panting.

"We just ran. All of the over here." Jade struggled. I laughed.

"I told you guys to meet me at my dads chair."

"I told you Jade!" Cody yelled.

"Come on. My grandma is waiting for me there."
