Hazel peered around the corner, straining her ears to hear even the quietest sound. That a human could hear anyways. When she was younger, she read a series called Warriors. She wished she could have one of the cat's great hearing and eyesight, but obviously didn't. But that was behind her, long behind.

"Someone's coming," Jacob hissed.

Hazel frantically scrambled to a stack of crates and ducked down.

"Ah!" Rebecca screamed as she tripped over a loose wire and a wave of swears rushed through Hazel's mind.

Well, we're dead, she thought bitterly.

Hazel heard footsteps running towards them and she saw Cory face in palm out of the corner of her eye. Jacob cursed under his breath and a man laughed.

"Well, what do we have here? A bunch of rebels? Survivors? Whatever you call yourselves," The guard chuckled.

"Jacob? Haven't seen you since you were a baby! You are so like your father, but your punishment will differ," He sneered and nodded to the eight other guards before picking up the bombs, "Bombs? Clever, but not clever enough."

He crushed it in one hand and dropped it to the ground, along with the other ones.

Two guards grabbed Hazel by the upper arm and she kicked out in anger.

"Hazel it's no use," Cory croaked and he frowned.

Hazel glared at her guards and reluctantly stopped and they lead them to a cell. Splitting them up one per cell.

"Everyone will love this show tomorrow. Rest up kids, the audience awaits! You will be thrilling!" The man howled in laughter and walked away.

The cells were made of glass. Hazel was in between Cory and Jacob which seemed to be a coming an all to familiar pattern sadly.

"Hazel!" Cory's voice was muffled through the glass and he pressed his hand to the glass, all five fingers spread out.

Hazel put her hand to the glass and rested her head on it. Cory had fear written on his face, something new to Hazel. In school he was always over confident and seemingly fearless. Now he was broken down by horror.

"We'll get through this," Cory mouthed and Hazel smiled.

"I hope," She mouthed back and smiled.

Jacob was sitting in the back of his cells, staring out the front at the wall. Rebecca was next to him, trying to talk to him. Hazel's head shot up as she heard yelling and screaming.

Oh no, please don't be who I think you are, Hazel begged in her mind as Sophia, Alex, and Kade came into the room, struggling in the guards restraint.

"Alex!" Hazel shot up and pressed her self to the glass.

"Hazel!" Alex shouted as he was shoved into the cell across from her.

Hazel felt tears roll down her eyes and she choked out a sob. Nothing can go right!

"Hazel!" Cory yelled as loud as he could so Hazel could hear him through the glass.

Hazel looked at him and he put his head down in guilt.

"What are they going to do to us?!" She shouted to him.

He shook his head to gesture 'I don't know'.

Hazel jumped at the sound of a crash and a eerie purple/blue fog was surrounding her in her cell.

"Cory! Jacob! Alex! Kade! Sophia!" She screamed as she passed out.
