Well, sure the girl was Michelle, or MJ as Peter had started calling her, but still it was further than Peter had ever gotten. Mj took a sip of tea her mug which read I don't have anger issues. Everyone is just stupid.

"My dad got it for me, the mug," she replied, Peter turned red as he realised he had been staring, he'd have to learn to stop that. When he thought to ask why she had brought her own mug, the moment had passed and an awkward silence had settled.

"Where's Ned?" He asked when he noticed it was just the two of them in the room.

"He went to get something for our geography project. Do you want some tea?" She asked casually changing the subject.

"Umm sure?" He had never been asked for tea before as he'd never really been anywhere with a person who actually drank tea.

"How do you have it then?"

"Oh, no milk, no sugar."

"You're a loser, did you know that Petey?" she smirked as she left for the kitchen. He couldn't help but wonder how many times she'd been here before.

She soon came back with a mug that was definitely Ned's as it had a picture of Darth Vader on it and said Daddy Noo. She couldn't help but laugh as she handed it to him.

"Just so you know I didn't pick this mug on purpose," she chuckled, it was a very rare occurrence and Peter couldn't help but notice how her head tilted slightly, and a few curls dangled in front of her eyes or how she bit her tongue a little when she laughed, in an extremely cute manner.

Wait not cute, no- neutral manner.

"So Petey, what brings you  here?" she asked, and even though it was a question she looked like she already knew the answer.

"Oh umm, we had to go over something for the decathlon... yes that's it! And he has my trumpet, because I'm joining band again," rambled Peter, realising too late that he had said too much, too fast for it to pass of as nonchalant.

Just as Michelle was about to question it further Ned walked in stared at the situation for a second, and continued walking in.

"What's up Peter?" Ned asked casually, not even bothering to mention the cups of tea in the pairs hands.

"Oh nothing, I just had some news about the Stark internship."

"But I thought you said th- " he was cut of by a sharp glare given by Peter. "Oh right, the Stark Internship."

Michelle turned her head from one of the boys to the other, after repeating it a few times she grabbed her rucksack and started towards the door without uttering a word.

"Wait, MJ, where are you going?" asked Peter suprised to see her just get up without a goodbye.

"I know when I'm not wanted Petey," she replied shortly, and if you didn't know her well it could have been mistaken as rude but upfront was just her normal way of talking.

"Aww come one, I almost have the whole thing set up," moaned Ned, but with another one of Peter's famous death glares he'd changed his mind. "You know what, you're right it's getting late, you should go."

She continued her way out but she stopped at the doorway and turned. "Later, Loser one," she nodded at Peter,"Loser two," she nodded at Ned. And with that she left.

"How come I'm Loser two?"
