The next morning, Jay came back to Nya's cell. With something very fragile held within his grasp, it was petite and light, a light color of pink filling the whole petal. Its scent leaving a nice beachy breeze whenever it passes by.

Once the young man came in front of the cell, the Master of Water was fast asleep. Her head was just hanging from the chain around her neck which lucky didn't choke her from the looks of her breathing patterns. Jay lightly knocked on the cell bars in order wake her from her deep slumber.

Her ocean eyes started to peek out from her closed lids and full eyelashes. They go straight towards Jay, just sensing his presence by the shadow of the ground of the dead cell. The freckled boy smiles and sat down on the ground, unraveling a small flower in the palm of his hand.

The pale woman eyed it, the pinkiness of the petals just pops out compared to the whole gray, dirty cell. Although it doesn't appear to have many layers, the ones that the small flower does have shows off the colors and the small amount of pollen on the center of it.

Nya looks back up to look at Jay's electric blue eyes, "What type of flower is it?" She asked quietly to make sure any other guards didn't overhear them.

"It's called a Cherry Blossom," He informed the chained prisoner, "They grow on Cherry Blossom trees. The trees only bloom these flowers up for a week, some of the flowers are a pale white and some such as this one are a hot pinky color. They symbolize renewal, improvement if you will."

She cocked her head to the side, "Why would it symbolize that?" The raven questioned.

Jay smiled to himself, "They're a symbolic flower of the spring, a time of renewal. All the flowers start to grow back to their beautiful form after being practically dead and wasted from the harsh winter. Since they aren't alive long enough on the trees, people would celebrate near them, it makes people feel merrier in some way I guess." He explained to the confused girl.

"Is that why you choose this flower? Or was it for a different reason?"

The employee sighed, he had choose that flower for many reason, but he was a little too shy to announce one of the reason. "U-Uh, my father proposed to my mother under a Cherry Blossom tree. And then once they had me they brought me there for my first birthday. That was my favorite memory of all of us together. I drive by the trees now when I head over to the facility, and they just remind me of all the good times in my life." Jay confessed to her.

She gives him a small smile, "That sounds nice."

"Yeah, it really was."

Nya looked at him in curiosity. He didn't sound happy about anything he had told her. She didn't think he was really lying to her, but just is missing in action. She wanted to ask him why he sounded depressed, but suddenly one of the guards popped in around the corner.

"Mr. Gordon, here's the Master of Water's food for the week." The guard said, handing Jay a couple pills. For anyone in the lower area they are not allowed to actually eat food, not even daily. They had combined food for a whole week within a pill and feed them to the prisoners. The facility was afraid that the Elemental Masters will start up a secret plan with what ever they were given by adapting to them.

Jay nodded and opened up the pale women's cell. He went over to Nya and helped her with swallowing the pills. After that Jay locked up the cell and the guard then told him, "Cliff Gordon would like to see you in his office."

The boy sighed and gave Nya one last look before leaving to his father's office. Cliff Gordon's office was on the top level of the whole building and it had a wide open view of the upper area, pretty much examining them. Once Jay made it up to the top floor, after many confused stares from other workers in the building, he was right in front of his father's door.

He took one final breath and knocked on the door. A few seconds later and low, 'Come in.' came through. Jay opened the door to see exactly what he thought he would see, the same room and the same person he would thought to see.

His father was sitting at his white desk, organized and all. Cliff gave his son a welcoming smile and let him in. "Jay, come, come. I have much to discuss with you!" Cliff exclaimed.

Jay smiled shyly and walked over to his fathers desk and at sat down in one of the chair in front of his desk. Nervously, his palms shaking and sweaty, the first thing that popped into his mind was that he was going to get fired, but Jay had never expected the words that came out of his father's mouth.

"You're getting promoted to two more levels, son!" Cliff announced with full on excitement.

The blue eyed boy practically paled in the spot, unable to even speak at what was going on, "Ronin has been telling me how much you been working and coming in early and working late with that water girl. He noticed that the two of you have been bonding a little, and that you should go ahead and be put in the training program for the Masters! Isn't that exciting!"

"U-Uh I feel so honored thank you! B-But I've only been working here for a few weeks, how did I even get put two levels higher? He barely even knows me!" Jay questioned, still not wanting to believe that this was happening.

"He knows that you are a hard worker, and that you do a good job at what you are given. You have been placed with the most dangerous elemental master in the whole building. You made her like you. Everyone else I have put with her either lost their life or quit be what she was doing, but when she is around you she is calm and actually listens. The people listen to you, Jay. That's why you are getting this promotion." his father told him as he patted his back, "And you also have gotten that elemental master moved up a little too."

"What do you mean by that, dad?" Jay asked him, with some hope filling up within him.

Cliff smiled to himself, "You're going to be her trainer, son. Her first trainer. I like to give the Master's in the lower level some loving too." he chuckled.

Jay shook his head in disbelief, "Wait why do they need a trainer? I haven't quite grabbed that concept yet." The by confessed to his father.

Cliff chuckled at his son, "Because son, she's going to be the first Elemental Master from the lower level to compete in the Tournament of Elements."
