The following morning was the first official day of the Tournament of Elements training program. Jay had told the Master of Water about it after his talk with his father, she didn't seem to mind.

The burnet walked over to the Nya's cell with keys and a clipboard in hand,  giving her a reassuring smile, "We have a time slot for about four hours seven days a week. I've been told you haven't used your powers in a years, so we get to have some extra time in the work room."  He informed her.

She took in his smile, "How long do we have before the tournament?"

Jay looked down at the clipboard, "It looks to be about three weeks. I still don't have details on what day you will be battling yet." he said, still flipping through the pages of paper to see if it revealed a little more.

She nodded as he unlocked the cage. He went over to her to start unlocking her chains as well, but once he got to the chain on her waist she flinched. Her anxiety goes into panic and closes her eyes shut, trying her best to not let her guard see her tears.

The young guard took immediate notice and stopped what he was doing. He gently placed a hand on her shoulder making her slightly tense, "Breathe Nya, breathe in for eight, hold for seven, and release for eight. Repeat that, please." He tried to soothe her.

The Master of Water took in the advice as Jay tried to sneakily unlock the remaining chains. Right when he undid the chain she felt the whole world was lifted off her shoulders. Her ocean eyes starts to seep though to see Jay holding her shoulders in reassurance.

"Thank you." She murmured to him as he allows her head to go against his chest. She listened to his steady breathing patterns to calm herself. The young woman used his heartbeat as music to her ears, she hasn't heard music in years, this was probably the closest she was ever going to get.

Jay whispered in her ear, "I'm not going to handcuff you, I was given the option on whether to do so or not. I trust that you can walk to the work room without any restraints'."

She nodded, he lend her a hand, with the master kindly taking it in gratitude. Jay helped her regain control of her wobbly legs, grasping her arms tightly from falling. The numb feeling in her legs were starting to away, gaining her strength back. Nya looked up at Jay in a pleading glance.

"I got you, just give me the word."

She took a deep breath and they started walking out of the cell. The woman looked at the side of her eye some of the other guards going tense and having their hand near a weapon on their belts. Jay followed her eye gaze, "Don't think about it. If they got a problem then they are taking it with me, just don't look at them. Keep your focus on me and we'll get to the work room in no time." He said.

The raven head gave a small smile and kept her gaze in the electric blue eyes strong stare. They had easily passed by all the tense guards with no problem and are towards the end of the hallway. Nya's legs were becoming more reliant for Jay to let go of her arms, almost losing her balance.

Jay locked arms with her and they had to travel up the stairs to the upper level, which were where all the work rooms were at since usually it was only the elementals in that level. They finally made it up to the work rooms, Jay handed the security guard the clipboard and he let them through to their assigned room.

The door closed behind them, with them having some extra time for Nya to get used to her legs. Once she regained total control of her limbs, she stood in the middle of the blank room.

The work room was completely gray, not as dark as her cell, but to Jay's taste is nothing more than a blank room. There were buckets of water and some weights. Jay's plan was to start small for her first time in the work room.

Jay sat down in the front of the room and looked down at his clipboard before looking back at the Master of Water, "Alright, so the first thing we are going to do is just some stretches' to not only get your limbs for versatile, but to help with your powers to have more control over them. "

He said some stretch commands and she proceeded with them, stretching her arms, legs, and back at most. About ten minutes at most in trying to loosen up all the stiffness in her bones. Once Jay thought she was good, the harder part had came into play.

The burnet picked up the buckets of water and put them in front of him in his sitting position. "The first lesson is very simple. All you need to do is to take the water out of the bucket-"

Before he can finish, crystal clear water was floating through mid air. It seemed so calm and flexible, almost like it was dancing. Jay turned from the satisfaction to the one causing it. She had her eyes closed, fully concentrated, and having no care about the world around her.

She opened her ocean eyes once she felt someone's stare, Jay was looking at her like she was a goddess. The raven gave him a small smile and slowly put the water back into the buckets as is they've never been touched.

"Wow, that was i-incredible!" Jay managed to stutter out.

Nya giggled a little putting her hands behind her back in slight embarrassment. The guard noticed the new behavior, during his time with the elemental master she has never expressed those kinds of feelings. She's starting to open up to the young guard. She must think she's rusty, Jay thought to himself.

"Lets just continue with simple exercises for now, and then you can show my  some of the moves you know." He told her, "You're doing amazing for the first time in years using your powers."

"Thank you." She said, doing a few more shapes with the water.

It was about an hour or two doing those small exercises and Jay asks, "Is there anything else you would like to show me of your powers?"

Nya looked down at the floor, biting her bottom lip. Her conscience fighting over whether she should even tell him or not. But if she was having to fight in the Tournament of Elements then she might have no other choice.

"Bring a mouse tomorrow."

"Pardon?"

"A mouse. Bring that for tomorrows session. I can't show you what I can do if I don't have anything to use."

Jay gave her a confused look, but agreed to it not wanting to irritate her more. Their time was soon up and Jay escorted Nya to her cell, once they made it to the cell however the guard realize that he was going to have to put on the inmate's chains back on.

Nya looked over her shoulder at him in confusion, "What's wrong?" she questioned.

He sighed, "I'm not going to put some of the chain back on."

She gasped in shock of his statement, "B-But the other guards-"

"You're going to be in the tournament. I think you have some sort of right just like the other competitors. I'm going to stay with you for the night shift, alright. I'm not leaving you alone by yourself." He told her.

Her eyes were glistening in the rays of the moon seeping through the small window of her cell. She nodded in agreement, "What about the mouse?" she questioned.

Jay walked her into the cell and started to chain her by only her wrist and ankles, not even bothering the chains that used to go around her neck and waist. "I'll have my butler come drop one off. I can picked it up from the front desk in the morning." He explained to the Master of Water.

She understood, Jay locked her cell and sat in a small little chair that was in the corner of the room.

"So," He said pulling out a penny, "Heads or tails?"
