Chapter Eight
I waited for you,  b

3rd person POV

Serena sat there in confusion and hurt. she asked bianca, she said yes and yet bianca was now standing there with xavier smiling at him like she didn't care about what this was making serena feel. she didn't care and serena could tell, she didn't expect it to hurt so much but it did. it really did. Serena looked at mina who was staring at the ground and then looked up to see the same thing that serena was and they made eye contact.

'sorry' she saw mina mouth and she shook her head as she ran her hand over her necklace and she sighed. she knew that her and bianca were too good to be true and she hated the fact that she had let herself fall for it, why had she fallen for it? was this another ploy for bianca to hurt her? was this bianca winning again, if it was serena didn't want to play anymore, she wanted it to be over.

She watched them and then she shook her head as she leaned her head against the table and let her mind race. she kept rethinking over everything and she couldn't even go to her best friend and talk to him considering he was apart of what she was feeling. Serena was shocked that xavier didn't go with ajax considering their friendship or relationship but she didn't care, no in that moment, she had to let her feelings work through herself and that's what she was letting happen.

"rena" she heard and she looked up to see mina standing there looking at her with her hand stretched out and serena grabbed her hand as she stood up and they walked to the dance floor together.

"thanks" rena stated and mina shrugged with a smile as she spun the girl around and they listened to the song together. heads will roll by yeah yeah yeahs was playing and serena laughed as she spun the girl around. she didn't know or see what was happening off on the side with Xavier and Bianca but she didn't care. she was having fun with mina and maybe that's all she needed to do.

Serena looked towards the entrance as she saw tyler and Wednesday walk in together and she tapped minas arm making her look too.

"they look"mina began and serena smiled again

"amazing" she said and she then looked at xavier and bianca, of course that's why he was with her, Wednesday asked tyler and left him. Xavier was using bianca as a rebound and even though serena was mad at them both , she felt bad for bianca but she didn't want to

"ser, she made her decision" mina said and serena nodded but she couldn't stop herself from staring at the pair of them and she didn't want to. she saw the way bianca looked at him with such hurt and anger and serena wanted to do something about it. she had to do something about it

"don't" mina said but serena couldn't stop herself as she ran out after bianca as fast as she could. she ran after her and caught up to her as she grabbed her arm

"bianca" she said and bianca turned to her as she ripped her arm out of serenas hold and looked at her

"wow you look" bianca started but serena stopped her

"yeah thanks, went dress shopping for nothing considering my date left me for my best friend" she exclaimed and bianca looked at the ground

"I can explain ser" she said and serena scoffed and nodded.

"yeah I'm sure you could, I waited for you, b. do you know how stupid I looked when you walked in with someone else? people knew we were going together and then oh all of a sudden, there's my date with her ex-boyfriend in the doorway smiling like she didn't completely ditch me" serena exclaimed and bianca sighed

"I'm sorry ser truly" she tried but serena shook her head

"its fine bianca. glad you got to have fun, I'm heading back in there so the rest of my night wont be ruined by a girl. I don't know what he said to you but it looked bad. good night b" she said and she turned as she walked away from the girl and she walked back into the room. she wished she didn't, she wished that she had stayed out there and truly found out the reason but she knew that it would hurt her more.

she looked around as she saw that mina wasn't there anymore but everyone else was and she sighed. she looked at Wednesday and tyler on the dance floor before she went and sat back down. she let her mind race over ever possible answer but she hated everything that came up. she hated every single answer and maybe she didn't want to know the true one.

she looked at the dance floor again as she saw mina and enid together. god everyone was so happy but her. she couldn't be happy, she was hurting and she hated it. she hated how hurt she was and she hated the fact that it was because of Bianca, she had never let herself be so vulnerable and hurt until then.

she smiled at the girls who leaned in and kissed each other but then she felt a drop of something and she looked up as she saw something red come down and splash on everything. Serena felt it wash over her dress and she stared in fear as she looked around and she heard screaming but she didn't care. she stood there and she let it wash over her, it reminded her of the night of her first killing but it calmed her for some reason. it was making her feel better and she liked it. she liked the way it felt and she didn't care about the stares from others as she then realized it was just her , mina and enid standing under the fake blood as it sprayed on them and she felt better.

for a second mina felt better but that would soon change. she didn't like change.
