(3rd Person PoV)

".....Kiryu?" Yusei asked.

"..." Crow was quiet. Too quiet for Grian's liking.

"I'll send you to the depths of hell! These flames are the fires of my revenge!" Kiryu laughed.

He then added on, "I'll make you pay for what you have done!"

"I....," Yusei didn't know what to say.

Crow then turned to Grian.

"Come on, let's go at a higher place so we can see and hear what they're saying," he said and Grian nodded.

They went to a rubbish pile and they could clearly see and hear what they were saying.

Meanwhile in the air, on the helicopter, Jack poked his head out to see the purple flames.

Don't try that at home kids!

"Get us closer!" He yelled at the pilot.

It was a bumpy ride down and Carly had to hold onto the back of the seat in front of her for dear life.

As they flew by, Jack and Crow's eyes locked on each other and they both gasped.

"Jack?!"

"Crow?!"

The helicopter flew away.

"Was that Jack Atlas? I only ever saw him once and that was on TV," Grian asked.

Crow didn't say anything but he did nod.

The helicopter flew above the purple flames where Jack saw Yusei and... "Kiryu?"

He sounded surprised.

"We're all here again! It's been many years hasn't it?" Kiryu asked.

"Sir! It's too dangerous to keep flying this low! We need to go up more!" The pilot yelled.

"Master Atlas!" The blue haired woman cried, forgot her name. She works for Jack.

Jack didn't say anything but he didn't protest when the helicopter flew up to a safer area.

"Jack, do you know him?" Carly asked.

Jack looked at Kiryu, uncertain on how to respond to her.

Grian seemed to ask Crow the same thing.

(Flaaaaaaaaashbaaaaaaack!)

Crow was tossed onto the ground, surrounded by three figures in purple cloaks.

They were laughing at him.

"For your nickname being 'Crow the Bullet' it seems like your gun misfired," Cloak #1 said.

He kicked at Crow's duel disk.

"Nnngh, I already pulled the trigger! My friends will be here any minute now!" Crow shouted, unafraid.

Cloak #1 turned his head to see another cloaked figure standing behind them. Cloak #4 nodded and Cloak #1 grinned widely.

He then kicked Crow's duel disks away from him. As it hit the ground, it broke.

"My duel disk!" Crow cried.

Cloak #1 then grabbed Crow by the front of his shirt and slammed him against the wall.

"Too bad your friends aren't here to help you. We just started using this base, there's no way that anyone would find us here," he taunted.

"You've been very brave, entering the den of the Magician Four without any backup," Cloak #2 said.

"Heh...who said I don't have any backup?" Crow grinned.

The four cloaked figures were looking around to see where that beeping sound was coming from.

It was coming from...

"The Duel Disk is a transmitter?!" Cloak #3 gasped.

"What?!" Cloak #4 said.

"Wait no! So that means...Team Satisfaction knows where we are?" Cloak #1 asked.

BOOM!

One of walls exploded, leaving a large gap. Three young men appeared, hidden in the shadows.

"N-no!" Cloak #2 yelped.

"You guys made it!" Crow said, happily.

Cloak #1 dropped Crow and the Magicians scattered. One of them turned the lights off.

Yeah that's not going to work.

Cloak #2 was running away before getting stopped by a figure in front of him.

"Accept my duel," he said and tossed a sort of contraption that connect their duel disks together.

"The loser gets their duel disk destroyed. We duel until there is a winner," the figure explained.

The clouds moved away from the moon which shined its light onto the figure.

It was Yusei!

Cloak #2 gritted his teeth together.

"Crow!" Someone shouted and tossed him another Duel Disk. Crow caught it and slipped it on.

"Thank you for dealing with my friend here. He doesn't have the best of manners so it must have been difficult," that someone said to Cloak #3.

It was Jack!

"But now you'll have to deal with me. I'll thank you plenty," he also tossed some sort of contraption that connected their duel disks together.

Crow did the same thing with Cloak #1.

The last magician, the leader, seemed to almost make it out before getting stopped.

Stopped by who?

"Y-You!" Cloak #4 hissed.

"Ha! Recognize me?" The last figure laughed.

"Why shouldn't I recognize the leader of Team Satisfaction...Kiryu Kyosuke!" Cloak #4 shouted.

Kiryu stepped into moonlight but he seemed different...less pale, no criminal mark, eye sockets were normal.

He seemed more...human.

He tossed the same contraption that connected their duel disks together.

"Why don't you entertain me? Duel!" He said.

(Back to present time)

Kiryu was silently laughing as he remembered those days.

Yusei didn't look happy at all, facing an old friend like this. He almost felt...afraid.

"So...you were in a gang?" Grian asked.

"In Satellite, there used to be many dueling gangs that ruled over certain parts of the town. Yusei, Jack, Kiryu and I were part of one. We were known as Team Satisfaction," Crow explained.

Back on the helicopter, Jack was telling Carly the same story.

"Crow, Yusei and I grew up together but sometime in our lives, Kiryu came in. If it wasn't for him, we might have never gain the strength to fight every day being in Satellite. He gave us hope. A way to be satisfied with what we have and what we can gain," Jack explained.

He remembered Kiryu showing them a map and scribbling in the Magician Four's territory with a black marker to show that they won over that territory.

'We're going to fill this whole map out!' He remembered Kiryu saying that and the four of them sharing a fist bump.

Carly looked at him with sympathy before looking down at Yusei. She couldn't imagine how hard it must be for him, for Yusei to fight an old friend turned evil.

"Ah, those days were fun weren't they, Yusei? Weren't they, Crow? Jack?!" Kiryu asked.

Both Jack and Crow froze up at this.

So this is duel between a Signer and Dark Signer but also a duel of old friends...what exactly happened between the four of them? What does he mean by revenge? Grian thought.

"Enough talking, we duel now. And just so you know," Kiryu held up his arm where a purple mark was glowing, "this mark is real and not like the fake one you saw!"

Yusei gritted his teeth together.

"Get ready Yusei!" Kiryu drove by Yusei and then he accelerated forward.

"Kiryu! Why are you a Dark Signer?" Yusei asked, finally speaking up.

Kiryu only answered with laughter and accelerated ahead of Yusei.

Yusei made a fist before accelerating forward as well.

"Let's begin this duel between a Signer and Dark Signer!" Kiryu shouted.

"Duel!"

Kiryu -4000 LPS

Vs

Yusei -4000 LPS

Meanwhile on the helicopter, Jack sticked his head back into the helicopter.

"Put their duel on the screen!" He ordered.

The blue haired woman, also known as Mikage Sagiri, flipped some switches and a screen that shown their Life Points and Speed Counters popped up.

Down below, Crow did the same thing and Grian peeked over his shoulder.

"..."

Grian then looked at the purple flames that separated them from Yusei.

I have a bad feeling about those, he thought.

"Activating the Field Spell, Speed World! This whole field is now under the effects of Speed World!" Kiryu laughed.

"Kiryu...you're very much serious about this?" Yusei asked, quietly.

Kiryu laughed at this.

"I draw! I summon Infernity Beast (ATK: 1600. DF: 1200) and then I place a card face down! I end my turn!" He shouted.

"I'm worried about that face down," Grian murmured.

"Now come at me, Yusei!" Kiryu laughed.

"Kiryu...fine. I draw! I summon Speed Warrior (ATK: 900. DF: 400)! Since I normal summoned him, once per Battle Phase, I can double his attack points!" Yusei shouted.

900 —> 1800 ATK

"Attack Infernity Beast! Sonic Edge!"

"Heh...I active my trap card! Depth Amulet! By discarding 1 card and if my opponent declares an attack, I can negate that attack!" Kiryu shouted.

A barrier appeared and surrounded itself on Infernity Beast which stopped Speed Warrior's attack.

"...I send two cards face down and end my turn. Speed Warrior's attack points go back to normal," Yusei murmured.

1800 —> 900 ATK

"My turn and I draw! From my hand, I can summon Infernity Archfiend (ATK: 1800. DF: 1200)! I will attack Speed Warrior with Infernity Beast! Hell's Breath!" Kiryu shouted.

Infernity Beast took a deep breath and blew out an attack that appeared to be flames.

Unlike the duels that happened before, Yusei felt actual pain after Speed Warrior was destroyed. His Duel Runner was spiraling out of control.

4000 —> 3300 LPS

His Duel Runner hit the purple flames and it acted like a wall against it.

"This is a real riding Duel! None of your childish games anymore!" Kiryu laughed.

Grian gripped at the edge of Crow's duel runner as he saw Yusei's life points going down.

"You don't have any monsters to defend yourself with! I'll attack you directly! Hell's Pressure!" Kiryu shouted.

A large circle with different patterns appeared and a large hand came out of it.

It was slowly coming down and Yusei knew that if this attack lands...he's done for.

He doesn't even need to lose the duel, he might lose his life?!

"Die Yusei!" Kiryu laughed.

Everyone that was watching, just watched helplessly as the attack was coming closer and closer.
