It's been a few hours since my family took me from the orphanage, and I've been asking them questions almost the whole car ride. I learned that Greg is my twin brother! That really exciting for me because I always wanted a twin. I always wanted a family too. And now I'm finally rejoined with them!

Anyway, we are currently at the airport, waiting for our flight to board. It's been delayed for about an hour, and I'm getting bored. I asked my mum if I could walk around, and she said yes, but I had to take Greg. I happily agreed, walking up to him.

"Um, Greg, would you like to walk around?"

"Uh, sure." Greg said, trying to sound cool.

He got up, and we started walking. I like Greg. He seems awkward, but in a comical way. To me, anyway.

"So, what's America like?"

"It's pretty cool."

We walked in silence for a few minutes, then I spoke up.

"What's your school like?"

"It's pretty lame. All the kids are stupid. The good thing is that we don't have to wear uniforms."

"I like this particular one. It makes me look like an anime character."

"Oh. I don't know that much about that."

"You don't know what anime is?"

I then explained to him what anime is, and all the ones I've watched, and the ones that he might like. Somehow we ended back at our seats by the airplane entrance, that should be boarding soon.

After a few minutes, the flight attendant announced that we can board now. I grabbed my things and made my way over to the entrance. I got on the plane with Greg, and found that we are sitting together. We sat down, Greg faking out a comic book and I taking out a manga from my backpack.

"What's that?" Greg asked me, pointing at my manga.

"This? Oh, this is a manga. I guess you could say that it's anime."

"Oh."

"Would you like to read one? I always have extras with me."

"No, I'm good."

With that, we continued reading our things as the plane started to move. I looked out the window (I got the window seat) as the plane took off into the sky.

After a few hours, I've finished my manga a little while ago, and noticed that Greg fell asleep. I was a little sleepy too, but it's only five o'clock. And I can't watch any anime since I'm on a plane and the internet doesn't work very good on Airplane Mode. I leaned back in my seat and looked out the window. We were very high. I've only been on a plane a couple other times. It was the time I went to Japan with my class. We were there for a whole week! I spent most of my time shopping, buying things that I probably didn't need, but needed at the same time. I got this backpack there, and a bunch of candy, and some clothes, and cool socks, and, of course, anime merchandise. I even won a big pillow head of Boxman in a claw machine. It was awesome! I loved it there. I wish I could go back. Maybe I will someday.

I then realized that I've been daydreaming for a while, because it's now getting darker. I decided that I should probably sleep, to prepare myself for the incoming time difference. I put my backpack down by my feet, leaned back in my seat as much as I could, closed my eyes and eventually drifted off to sleep.

•••••••••

I woke up to the plane landing, and the morning sun pouring in from the window into my face. I turned to face Greg who was already awake. He looked tired, but I bet that I was even more. I mean, he's used to this time zone, and this is a whole new thing for me. Plus the jet lag is probably affecting all of us.

We got off the plane, got our luggage and went outside to the giant parking lot. We eventually found the car, which was a big van, and Greg and I got in the back. I fell instantly asleep, my head resting on Greg's shoulder, and Greg falling asleep resting his head on mine. We were like that the whole car ride back.

I woke up when the car stopped. I sat up, saw that Greg was waking up as well, and and looked out the car window. The house we were parked in front of must be their home. Well, mine to now I guess. It was beautiful. And it's pretty sunny, too. I got out of the car, got my things from the back, and went inside with my mum. She showed me where I would be sleeping temporarily, which was in Greg's room with him.

A few seconds later, Greg came in and mum explained to him that I will be sleeping in here, which left him with a uncomfortable looking expression. I was a little uncomfortable too, since I've never slept in the same room with a boy before.

I walked over to the mattress that was across from Greg's bed and put my things on it. Greg showed me where I could put my clothes, which was a new- looking pink dresser. As I was putting my things in the drawers, Greg had a funny look on his face. Oh. It's probably my clothes. It's more, Harajuku, I guess you could say.

When I finished unpacking, Greg and I went downstairs as he showed me around. It really is a nice house. After he showed me around, we played some weird video game I've never heard of on his Xbox until we passed out on the couch.

When I woke up the next day, I was in the room I share with Greg, him still asleep in his bed. I wonder how we got here... Oh well. I sat up, stretched, and grabbed my hairbrush that I kept at the head of the mattress and started brushing my long silky bangs that just about go past my eyebrows. My hair is very Japanese I guess.

I quietly walked over to my dresser and pulled out some clothes to change into. Once I changed, I sat back on my mattress and pulled out my phone, plugging in my earbuds, and started watching Lucky☆Star.
