"Ah, geez..."

"Problem?"

"I can't get this to work."

"Have you, uh, tried turning it on?"

"What? Oh, uh... oh! There we go."

The speakers projected a large noise as Professor Fire tapped the microphone, which was now on. Professor Water shook her head as the two went down the stage. Professor Elemental picked up the microphone and cleared his throat.

"Testing, 5, 138, 92, 48, 284, 52. Good evening Elementals. As you all should know, Elementals have been captured recently, only to be brought back in worse shape. After examing the issue, we have traced it down to an odd entity lurking around the edges of the Academy. To prevent this, please refrain from visiting the edges of the Academy until this problem is settled."

Honestly, this is really weird. Why can't the problem be normal?

Professor Elemental continued. "Do not worry, we are working on this situation best as we can. Though classes will be discontinued for the while, you will still be requested to arrive at Weapon Training classes lest anything should happen, though this is not mandatory.

"Additionally, any Elementals who have had experience with this unfortunate event will be asked to arrive at my office when my message concludes.

"Thank you, Elementals. Do be careful. The Academy is no longer safe."

⚡️ Professor Elemental's Office ⚡️

Upon arriving at Professor Elemental's Office with Pacifia I saw a few familiar people already there, such as Viz and Tomb, and also some other unknown Elementals. Looking behind me, I saw even more Elementals approaching the office. I decided to let Pacifia deal with this alone. I had other things to do.

⚡️ Electric Zone ⚡️

"Magnet."

"Mm?"

"Mind if I go up for a sec?"

"No, go ahead."

I climbed up to her bunk and sat down. "What's up?" she asked.

"Have I told you that I was a victim of the Edge?"

"No, but I'd love to hear it."

After telling her what happened, her respone was "Poor Pacifia." I agreed. I was in no way harmed.

I haven't mentioned this, but I do feel really bad for her. We were both captured, but she took all the hits. I guess I should be grateful, or I might've ended up like Viz. But of course, Viz did way better. I wonder what these things have against females. Those sadistic little...

"Zap."

I nearly fell down. "What?"

"You're spacing out. I asked you if she was okay or not."

"Oh, she's fine. She was treated as soon as we got out. It was worse than you could imagine, honestly."

"Mm... you okay?"

"I'm perfectly fine, but I don't know whether that's good or bad."

"Why would it be bad?"

"Because if I was hurt, Pacifia might've gotten hit less."

"Oh, don't think like that. Pacifia's better now, and that's great! Plus, maybe you should talk to her now."

"Maybe. See you."

"Bye."

⚡️ Garden ⚡️

"Hello again."

"Aww, you saw me. Can't push you, then." Angel took a seat beside me under the Tree. "How's it going?"

"Pretty well, I guess."

"Hey, it's not going the worst. That's something, you have to admit."

"I guess. Yeah, it could be much worse."

"Have you talked to Professor Elemental yet?"

"No. I left that to Pacifia, because she had more to do with it than I did."

"Mm. Gives you some resting time, huh?"

"Well, not really. I just had a conversation with Magnet."

"Yeah, like I said, resting time. Anyways, I have to go do something. You have fun."

"Bye." As I watched Angel leave, I got up and headed to Professor Elemental's office. Maybe I do have something to say.
