Falling to the ground, the monsters turned around to find themselves face to face with their fellow prisoner, the wild animal. All three screamed in terror. At the same time, the bird-like creature let out a thundering screech right in their faces as he pinned them to the ground. Still screaming, Chloe and Ozone almost didn't hear the angry voice shout, "You idiots!"

The screaming and screeches stopped.

Not saying a word, Chloe and Ozone slowly turned their heads towards Snowball. He didn't look terrified. In fact, he had a serious expression on his face. Glancing down, the two cat monsters saw that the wild animal's taloned hand was on the shapeshifting blob's neck, or where his neck would've been if he had one. Turning to Ozone, Chloe whispered, "He's reading his mind."

"Of course he's reading my mind you imbeciles!" Snowball spoke in a raspy male voice, no doubt the wild animal's. Chloe and Ozone trembled tremendously as the latter whimpered, "That's hurtful."

"Oh really?! And leaving Sweetpea and me behind while you three escape isn't?!" Snowball spoke the bird's thoughts again. The cat monsters kept their mouths shut as the lecture continued, "What? You didn't think we didn't want to be free either? Do you think we like being here?! If you were, then you're wrong! I hate it here as much as you guys!" Growling, the bird monster got off the trio and walked away, sitting down with his back turned to them.

Quietly looking at Snowball and Ozone, Chloe didn't say a word as she got up. Ignoring the terrified looks on their faces, she walked over to the wild animal. Placing a paw on his shoulder, she murmured, "Hey." Once the bird like creature was looking up at her, the humanoid cat asked, "What's your name?" Opening his beak, the wild animal tried to speak. However, the only sounds coming forth were growls and raspy coughs. Slithering over, Snowball placed a morphed hand on the bird monster's shoulder and replied in his voice, "Tiberius."

"Okay Tiberius," Chloe answered, "Let's get out of here. Come on."
