Working title:

Falling to Rise

Genre:

Fantasy/Adventure

Tense/POV:

3rd person subjective and limited

Setting:

The Realm of Ethereal, six kingdoms.

Part One

P1

Inciting Incident:

Flying books reveal the protagonist's trouble and delima.

Internal Initial Conflict (call to action):

Seto at the moment most wants to keep being a sorcerer a secret or risk death

External Initial Conflict (call to action):

Seto wants to join the army because he is 19 and he abides by the law, not because he wants to be a soldier, but because he doesn't want to break the laws and make trouble for his family. He wants to get through it as normal has he can possibly be.

Woven-in Backstory, Vital Information:

Sorcerers and hybrids are disgraces to the world.

Part Two

Internal Conflict (obstacles):

Seto knows he can't trust anyone so it makes it harder to be normal, and not go unnoticed, he also does make a friend which makes his secret more likely to be discovered

External Conflict (obstacles):

Seto is working side by side with the general of the army, this has more risk of being discovered, so that makes it harder to lay low. If he is found out he fears his family will suffer because of it.

Internal Higher Conflict (obstacles heighten):

Seto starts to doubt himself, he starts believe he's just what people say a sorcerer is. Unfit to live, bound to be a monster and unstable. He doesn't give up because he still wants to save Ty from making a grave mistake, if he doesn't he fears he will go insane and do what he would not wish to do.

External Higher Conflict (obstacles heighten):

The king is trying to stop Seto because his father was convicted guilty of being a sorcerer, so he knows whether Seto has sorcerer powers or not he has sorcerer blood and can still pass on sorcerer abilities. The king doesn't want sorcerers in his kingdom.

P2

Internal Highest Conflict (obstacles intensify):

Seto finally realizes, and stops running from the fact the king of Emedo is cruel and the laws have to be changed. He realizes he can't turn a blind eye anymore. He has to do this for his parents, for himself, for Ty.

External Highest Conflict (obstacles intensify):

Now Seto and friends are fugitives, outlaws to Emedo, and many other kingdoms trying to stay in Emedo's good side. It makes it harder to operate. It could get worse if no one even helps them, seto truly feels like he's lost because he feels all alone. Continuous fights in their group, rejection.

Internal Point of No Return (stakes):

Seto accepts gis sorcerer side, he realizes he needs it in order to win. Now he's taking it on, ge knows he can never go back to that shy bookworm, that perfect little angel.

External Point of No Return (stakes):

Besides being outlaws, they joined a secret rebel group that was hiding in Eflido. Now he's fully committed sorcerer, rebel and outlaw.

Darkest Hour:

The armies are seriously outnumbered, scattered, beaten and broken. There is no hope of winning and the heroes are stuck, they can't get closer to the palace.

Turning Point:

Seto realizes that they must fight because if they don't then so many people will pay for their failure. When Ty comes in with reinforcements, Seto realizes this is the distraction they need to get through to the palace.

Part Three

P3

Internal Climax:

Seto realizes just how many people really want this to happen, he sees all the chance they're getting. Even Jason gives them a chance. He learns it's now or never, he has to take the chance, the risk, even leave the comfort of his life, something he left long ago. He overcomes his fear of being judged, he learned that doesn't matter now, what matters is this fight.

> (preferably simultaneous)

External Climax:

As a team the king is defeated

Resolution (external):

Now that the king is defeated Adam takes the throne, his brother rules Eflido. Things are changed and Seto helps by leading Keuta.

Character Growth (internal):

Seto now knows to fight for what's right, he has friends to depend on, he can smile, laugh, he's outgoing, he has confidence.

As plenty should know. After I finished Part 1 of F2R, I spent that time replanning Part 2 and Part 3. Why, because I believed the original plot was speeding everything up too fast.

I mean take everything that happened in Part one, and then have Seto travel to Neim, meet Jason as a farmer, boom fire, Jason's family dies, and then go to Eflido and join rebels. Not long after, friggin' war, and sh*t and Seto and friends defeat king and Adam becomes new king and Jason probably died, idk.

Yeah, I guess the plot was ok, however, it was going to fast for my liking. I mean seriously the war had no reason behind it orriginally, and now, there are and will be plenty of reasons for a war.

Plus I like the new plot a lot better, because it left room for a better Book 2, as the original Book 2 would've had some shit plot invloving Alesa.

She was kidnapped and Emedo was blamed so Adam asked Seto for help to find her, it was really bad idea.

Plus if I hadn't changed the plot Destiny Calls could never happen, and all the mind blowing stuff wouldn't exist! :D
