So as per citrusboy's request, the picture attached is the one I got with NAM!!!!! I coloured myself out, but you can see Nam....putting his arm around me!!!!!!yeeeeeee! And you can tell I'm a short person, but who cares, what matters is Nam smiling like a spicy cutie!! :)

...

It was finally the long awaited day of the Youth Olympics Figure Skating Championships!!!!

Brian stood beside the rink, watching his little 'children' all focused in their official practice session.
He smiled to himself.

What wonderful kids, this is their time to shine and they shall...

As drawn the day before, Sota will be skating last in the last group, so basically, last of the last. Whereas Melody will be skating first in the last group.

...

Men's short program.

Sota slapped the boards on the ice and took off into the center stage of the rink.

Seated in one side was the legendary Yuna Kim of South Korea who is a ambassador of the Youth Olympics.

As his eyes flickered to find Brian and Melody, he saw Yuna, and squealed inwardly.

It's Queen Yuna!

Hey focus!

Oh right, have to find Brian....

Ah, there they are..now go out and deliver!!!

I can do this, I CAN!

THOU SHALL NOT FAIL ME, TRIPLE AXEL!

YOU ARE UNDER MY COMMAND!

NOTHING WILL STOP ME!!

Out he went.

And out he delivered.

73.07 has got to be a seasons best?
But by the smile on his face, he was finally pleased with his short program score.

He turned to Brian, who's face was all red with pride, 'that wasn't too shabby was it?'

'Not bad, not bad at all. It was great! The best so far in this season!'

On a side note, Roman Sadovsky absolutely slayed and came in second behind Sota with a 72+ score, plus that triple Axel that finally showed itself.

Smiling with arms around each other, the top three in the short program were truly satisfied at the results. (Except maybe Deniss who popped his Axel :( )

...

After Sota's fabulous short program, Melody could only do just as well. She came of the ice grinning from ear to ear, eyes sparkling and cheeks blushing.

Taking the lead with a full 8 points over Yuna Shiraiwa, the new Japanese hot shot, or rather the Miyahara to be, she couldn't possibly smile any wider or be any happier.

Screaming in joy to Brian's ear, she yelled, 'So this is what taking the lead feels like! Oh My Gosh, I've never actually came in first in any international competition before, this is a first, and it's a sweet one!!'

Brian, inwardly feeling awfully proud, answered back, 'Well, you better treasure it, cause after the free skate on Tuesday, your cheek muscle might just break from smiling so widely'

'But I can't help it! Nothing can wipe this smile off my face'

'That's a good thing! Keep it on'

Being in the best position ever, in the lead, not having to chase others, but to be chased, it seemed that nothing could stop her from taking the Youth Olympics title.

But things got in the way,

Things often did,

They ALWAYS do,

But that's life,

It's the reality, the truth of life,

Truth hurts,

So what do you do?

You keep calm and deal with it.

After all, Yuzuru Hanyu, like many, dealt with it...

And still succeeded.

...

Six hours behind time, Yuzuru, Javi and Nam all watched the replay of their skates.

Screaming when Sota and Melody landed jumps and rocked their programs.

These supportive friends and training mates couldn't be any happier for their 'lil' bro and sis'.

To them, the results didn't even matter. What mattered most was that they were skating out to the ends of the world and back.

They proved to the world and themselves that they can do it.

And most importantly, the smiles on their faces seemed bigger and brighter than the sun.

No cloud nor rain could bring them down.

No star nor meteor could outshined their awesomeness.

Nothing was to get in the way of this hummingbird and its flower.

Or atleast, nothing was supposed to.

But things always did.

But despite all that life throws at them, their hearts still burns out for each other. Especially at the most important times.

-

The progress into happiness was a lot more complicated than leading after the short program.

...

Deciding to take a walk around town to relax, Sota and Melody managed to escape the crowd and fans and leave the rink without being seen.

Another secret getaway...

Laughing and joking with ease and delight, they walked the streets blindly. For once, once since they arrived, able to be alone, even without Brian.

'Do you even know how to use a map? Doofus!'

'Hey, I do know. But maps are so stupidly labeled'

'They are labeled fine. You are just to stupid to comprehend the complexity of a map'

'Yeah, yeah...we'll see about that. Do YOU know the way then? Lead us, since your brain works in such complicated ways'

'I shall, you simple minded, brainless, doofus!'

'Stop calling me that'

'Doofus, doofus, doofus, doofus....'

European Cities had much differences compared to North American Cities.

As newcomers to Lillihammer, they got lost a few times trying to find their way around. They even brought a map to assist their bad sense of direction.

But, after walking for an hour and sightseeing, they came to a snow cone shop.

Refreshing themselves with the cool snow-like substance, they walked across the road on the zebra crossing, when the light turned green.

Walking a few feet ahead of Melody, Sota never saw the car, he only heard it.

But she did.

Panicking, she raced into action without knowing what was going to happen.

Dashing forward, she pushed him aside and took the full impact.

As he turned his head to find the source of that car noise, he was pushed by an unforseen force and tumbled over.

Snow cone flying out of their hands, they both stumbled forward, staggering as if they'd been shell-shocked.

The car, racing at supreme speed, halted midway. But try as it might, it could not stop in time to prevent the impact from throwing Melody a few feet across the road.

She flew and dropped, and rolled.

Soon all the pedestrians stop to look at the accident that happened. Someone called a police, and an ambulance.

Sota got up and turned around to find her, but all he found was a bleeding and unconscious girl crumpled in the middle of the road.

No, this can't be happening!

DY!!! Wake up!

As he held her frail body in his arms, the tears came streaking down his face.

All of a sudden, the whole city stopped.
Nothing else in the world mattered but the two teenages in the middle of the street.

Most of the pedestrians had saw what happened. One look at Sota's face and their hearts just shared his grieve.

'Noooooo.....please......wake up.....I can't lose you...'

His words woke her up like a spell.
Feeling his hand caressing her cheek, she blinked and looked up at his crying face, trying to process it all. Then, once she fully gained consciousness, the pain washed over her, and she winced aloud.

He looked and saw her awake, and almost wanted to shout for joy til he realized the pain she was in.

But it was too painful to stay awake. All she wanted to do was sleep and escape this torture.
But, remembering a promise she made to him a few weeks ago,

'Just promise me one thing. Don't slip away again.'

She decided against it.

So she forced her eyes to stay open and remained in the garish light of day.

'Dy.......why? Why did you do it?' He asked, whilst holding her, not wanting to let her go.

'Because you could've gotten hurt,' she whispered just barely audible.

'But did you not think that you could get hurt too?'

'I kinda wasn't thinking, I was just trying to get you out of the car's way.' She smiled softly.

'No! You shouldn't have done that! Now you're in pain and badly injured. How can you still be smiling?'

'Because...I finally did something to prove that I love you....'

...

Happy early valentines day!!!! :))
Hahah that ending was so Valentines Day-ish :))
So yeah, Snow cones are like bad mojo for them....

There you go x_justafangirl_x! Updated for you!!

I'm actually so happy for the results of the Youth Olympics Men's Figure Skating!
With Sota, Roman and Deniss in the lead, my day can't get any better. This is literally my dream podium. But I never entertained the possibility of it actually happening cause a) I thought Dmitri Aliev would lead in the short b) I thought Sota would crumble under pressure as he was skating last c) I didn't think Roman would whipped out his Triple Axel yet......so YAY!!!

I actually could not keep a straight face when I had lunch with my family earlier. I just had to smile to myself and squeal inwardly while my family was wondering what had made me so happy....:)
