It was night time and you were doing your usual patrol around the castle. One light was still lit in the area as you thought everyone was asleep but you. You blew it out as just then a scream when off from the darkness.

"WHY DID THE LIGHT GO OUT?! HELP! DARKNESS EVERYWHERE! HELP!!!!"

You panicked and quickly lit the blazing candle with a fire tomb you had in hand. In the bed of the room you found a figure under the blankets shaking a lot. You pulled the blankets off the shaking figure as it turned out to be Hayato.

"Hayato what are you doing? Were you the one who screamed?"

"W-Wha? No I wasn't! I'm a man! Men don't cry when the light goes out..."

His trail off of tone didn't cut it for you as you gigged at his funny fear of the dark. A deep blush appeared on his cheek as he scowled. "Quit laughing! It isn't funny!"

"Y-yes it is! You say you're a man when you afraid of the dark!"

Hayato growled at you as he threw a pillow at you, which you barely dodged in time and enough to glare back at him. "Take a joke Hayato."

"No! Even if you are royalty, it's still mean to make fun of people, Lady (y/n)."

This was true as you did feel bad for what you did. You sighed and grabbed the chair from the desk and pulled it to a corner. "If it makes up anything I'll stay with you to make up for what I did."

"Huh? You don't need to do that. I can take care of myself without your help."

"I wasn't talking about that." You said and sat down on the chair, making sure you were comfy enough to at least get some sleep. "Night Hayato." You closed your eyes.

Hayato stared at your sleeping body, making sure you were at least almost half asleep, before putting a blanket around you before he too when to sleep himself...

You woke up to your back on fire and groaned at the pain in your upper and lower back. The blanket felt down on the floor as you slowly got up from the chair, and looked around the room. Hayato was gone but a note was left on his desk. You painfully walked over and picked it up and read it over.

Dear Lady (y/n)

Thanks for staying the night with me like you meant you would. No one's ever done that with me. To make it up too you I want you to rest in my bed and wait for me to come back and help fix your hurt back. I'm guessing it would hurt after the way you slept all night.

You smiled at the note and did as it said and slowly, with a tiny scream, got into bed. You fell asleep waiting for Hayato, but he came later and did the part of his promise...maybe even left a kiss on your lips before you woke up and ever knew...
