It was what everyone said, no rest for those who run. Being the oldest daughter of the famous Kamui as your father, you were put on the run due to your world being destroyed. You didn't want to go back and risk your life to see if dad came.

Right now, your dragon powers were trying to control you. Most of the time on the run you were hungry... even thirsty... and depressed because it seemed your father wasn't even trying to find you. You hoped Kana was alright... since you couldn't come in time to save her.

Sitting down in a tree some Nohrians were passing by, but you were asleep and loudly snoring when they were passing by. They stopped and stared at you, looking at your armor and knew by how fancy it was you were royalty.

"We should take her..." One of them whispered, "She'll be great money and Hoshido will be willing to pay for their lost princess."

"Great idea! Let me get my spell book..."

They casted a wind spell and knocked you out of the tree, making you land on your head. Of course you woke up with a huge headache, even getting angrier than before. Before one of them could grab your hand, the dragon inside you released.

The Nohrians screamed and tried running away, but you burned them down with your magical flames. They soon turned into ashes, crumbling away with your roar. What you didn't know was that your father's army was infuriating the camp.

Shigure was the closest to the roar, knowing what it was. "Oh no! She's in trouble!"

Shigure made his Pegasus to stay back in case of danger. He ran towards the source as you were wrecking the forest, destroying everything in your path. This was the rage of the monster, the dragon inside you.

"Stop!" Shigure shouted, "You mustn't do this (y/n)! Animals will be killed if you continue!"

You suddenly stopped and whipped your head towards Shigure's voice. You growled and attacked him, but Shigure quickly dodged the attack and cupped his hands together.

"You are the ocean's gray waves~ Destined to seek life beyond the shore just out of reach~"

It was working, you were calming down, listening to Shigure's voice. It reminded you of your father's best friend's voice, but only deeper. Shigure smiled and slowly came towards you, gently touching your knelt head.

"Yet the waters ever change, flowing like time~ the path is yours to climb~"

You changed back into a human as Shigure caught you before you fell over on the ground. You panted heavily and cried tears of joy, happy that you weren't going to be captured by the Nohrians.

"Hey!" Your father shouted out. "(y/n)! Please tell me you're there!"

"She's here!" Shigure shouted back to him.

Your father came into view and hugged you tightly to him, sobbing with joy. "I-I never lost hope about you I-I'm so glad!"

All the depression and hate towards your father disappeared by his words. You cried and hugged him back, happy beyond words. "I-I missed you!"

After you both were finished crying Kamui thanked Shigure and let him and you left alone in the healing tent. Shigure was healing you with the healing powers of being a Pegasus knight. When he was done you quickly grabbed onto his wrist.

"C-Can you stay with me...? I've been on the fun for a month... You're the only person who I've spoken too in a while..."

Shigure smiled and pulled the blankets over you. "Of course."

He slept by your side all that night while signing you the same song, only it was deeper and lovely than before.
