Darkness, the unknown, a new place, fear - all this makes even those who say they are not afraid of anything panic. And if it also threatens your life....

...

- Hey, honey, it's time to get up. I'm certainly glad you enjoyed being in my arms so much, but our time is coming to an end.

I woke up to someone whispering in my ear.

At first I didn't pay attention to it, but then I realized something was wrong. I could feel my face on something soft and big, and most importantly, I could feel someone hugging me.

A few seconds passed, and only then did I react to it. But I decided not to lash out, and just lifted my head to see whoever I was hugging, too.

And, to be honest, I was quite surprised. No, rather, I couldn't believe it.

The image of a girl with dark brown eyes appeared to my eyes. Her hair was the same color, only a little lighter, but strangely enough it matched her eyes.

The way she looked at me expressed a certain sense of care and love and happiness?

I couldn't say for sure, but I was sure she wouldn't hurt me, though I didn't know where that sense of certainty was coming from.

But I immediately noticed a distinctive feature of her appearance. It was the pair of ears on her head, which were very much like bear ears, but they only added to her beauty.

- How long are we going to look at each other like that? Did you fall in love at first sight? Hee-hee.

I was a little taken aback by that statement, so I was able to get out of her grasp, though it's hard to call it that. More like a hug.

In the meantime, I kept looking at her and wondering what I should do. The very fact that I fell asleep next to her speaks volumes. Somehow I was able to trust her, which meant that I felt safe around her.

Even the darkness, the fears, and many of the memories that were weighing on me - suddenly disappeared, as if they hadn't existed at all.

- It's....

I couldn't find the right words to thank her for keeping me safe all this time.

But then I remembered that the same thing had happened to me about two nights ago. Only then I felt different. Next to that white-haired vixen, I felt different.

In that moment, feelings of relief, happiness, and gratitude came over me. But from the fox herself, I felt affection, happiness, care, and something like love.

And now I had another question - why do some of them take care of me, while others, on the contrary, want to hurt me or make me suffer? Of course, I won't know the answers to these questions any time soon.

But I've gone in the wrong direction. Now I have to thank this girl, if you can call her that.

- Hmm? Is something wrong?

It would be obvious to a fool by now that her thoughts on me are pure and she really cares about me. And I still continue to suspect her of something.

- Ah... what... no, I mean.... mind.... anyway, I wanted to thank you for keeping me safe while I slept. Something like this....

Already much quieter, I said the end of my sentence

The bear herself at first looked at me in surprise, but after a few seconds she smiled sweetly, and then answered me

- No need, I just did what I had to do.... Anyway, I have to go now, after all I can't break the rules either....Sweet dreams, dear....

I wanted to say a lot of things to her, but her words made me realize that I was about to pass out again, so I decided not to pass up this opportunity to tell her

- Hey! Know that I'll be waiting for you when you come to me again!

She just looked at me again and smiled, then walked out of my room and I plunged back into darkness....

....

I woke up the same way as last time. But this time there was a difference...

I was not in my room!

How did I figure it out? Quite simply, I saw that there was a window on the wall in front of me!

In a panic I started looking for my flashlight, which fortunately I quickly found, but something else confused me.... I found a note!

There was hardly any light, so I decided to turn on my flashlight and read what was written in the letter.

Letter

Hey, hey, you must be panicking right now because you don't know where you are?

First of all, calm down. I'll tell you everything!

First - if you've already guessed, you're not in your room right now.

You'd be right-you're in a part of your house right now!

Well, let's get right to the point, because you don't have much time!

This time you'll have to last about two hours instead of six!

Yes, that's good on the one hand, but that's not all.

You're not alone here, if you shine a flashlight in front of you, you'll see someone

But don't do it now!

If you do, this "game" starts right now!

Let's continue. Your goal is to either hold out against her for two hours,

but in that case, you won't get a reward!

Or, you have to stop her at a certain spot, which is marked with an X!

Then you get a prize!

The next night you only have to last four hours!

But there's also a rule I advise you not to break.

Remember - you're not allowed to go anywhere. Your job is to stay in one place!

That's it, good luck!

Your nightmares.

I'm fucked! Not only can I not leave here, or rather, because of the rules I can not, but I also have to fulfill certain conditions in order to get the prize! Which, by the way, isn't bad at all!

I seemed to be able to calm down recently, but now I began to remember again what had happened to me in the previous nights.

My thoughts were filled with anything but this "game".

This note did not help me at all, but only made it worse, because now I cannot calm down.

The very fact that I will be locked in the same place together with the animatronic already scares me, but now it's all happening for real!

But I couldn't think about it for long, because I heard someone's footsteps!

Out of fear, I quickly turned on the flashlight and I saw a corridor with four rooms: two on the right and two on the left, and at the very end there was a chair. The corridor was about seven meters long.

But I quickly dismissed these thoughts, for the sound of footsteps I heard made me nervous.

For about 5 minutes I kept the flashlight on, but nothing happened. It made me wonder if maybe I was imagining things and there were no footsteps and the sounds were just my imagination

I don't know, I don't know! Goddamn it, I'm going crazy already! Will somebody help me?!

I'm scared. I'm scared. I'm scared. I don't want to die again!

Even the light didn't help me calm down, but one unpleasant thing happened, my flashlight went out! The battery in it was dead.

I quickly replaced it with a new one, but then I heard the sound of footsteps and, purely on reflex, I turned on my device again.

And now I saw what I feared the most.

Her, the one I could never forget, no matter how much I wanted to! The one I'd been having nightmares about. That smile that always haunted me!

It got to the point where I saw her when I was awake, when I was really awake!

But I tried to write it all off as just a fantasy...

It was a girl about my height, only about five or seven centimeters taller than me.

Her hair was a greenish hue, and there were a pair of hare ears on the top of her head, the same color. Her face was so beautiful that any model would have envied her.

But I let all these facts pass my eyes, because I know her. She was always there for me and it scared me. Dreams, walks, showers, summer house, but I always saw her.

No, I never talked to her. You'll ask me why?

FEAR

Even though she looked very pretty and sweet, I always felt afraid of her. No, she didn't do anything to me, but something inside me told me that I should run away from her, and not look back in any way, which I did every time.

But that was obviously not enough, because she was always there.

Once I had a nightmare, I don't remember exactly, but I was running away from some monster. And when I got to a safe place, I suddenly ran into someone.

I thought I would wake up after that, but I didn't.

I only felt a little pain, after which I lifted my head and saw her.

She was looking at me and I was looking at her. Her smile seemed to be telling me to go over to her.

But at the same moment my brain was screaming at me to run away from her as fast as I could.

It wasn't until then that I was able to wake up, but at that point I thought it was just a nightmare, until the next thing happened.

One summer I was playing with my friends, or should I say former friends.

Anyway, that day was no different from any other day - we were having fun, playing, running around and things like that. Everything was fine until I froze in fear.

I saw her....

Yes, I saw her! The same girl who had been giving me nightmares! She was looking at me and smiling. It looked cute from the outside, but it gave me the creeps.

I felt like I was looking at a monster, but at that moment someone called out to me from behind and asked

- What are you standing there for, Yuki?! We're playing!

- Ah.... oh sorry, I was just looking at that girl.

And then I pointed to where she was standing.

- Are you crazy, Yuki? There's nobody there. That's not a good joke, you could do better than that. Well, I'm running or I'll get caught again. You should do the same.

I was surprised at his words, but then I thought I was just imagining things, so I decided to look where she was standing again.

Honestly - I regret that I decided to do that, because she was still standing there!

I saw her standing there looking at me and then she laughed very quietly. This made me take a couple of steps back and realize that she wasn't just my fantasy - she was definitely alive!

A couple of minutes later, a couple more kids came running to me, but they all said there was no one there, or that I was bad joking.

But I wasn't laughing because I could see her clearly!

I was just about to leave, but I noticed she started walking toward me. And that's when my courage completely disappeared.

I had been able to keep my composure before, but now it was just impossible.

I quickly ran to my parents, almost crying, but somehow I was able to hold back the tears. Only my heart was beating like crazy.

I looked back and still saw her, only this time she was standing still.

That was the day it started.

I saw her quite rarely, about two or three times a week, but even so it was too often for me.

Especially the one time she talked to me. It was only once, but it was enough for me for a very long time.

Then I was playing hide-and-seek with my friends and I ran into a rather dark place where I would be hard to find. I thought everything would be fine and I would just have to sit quietly, but those were just my dreams.

After about a minute, I heard a voice behind me.

- There you are, my love.

I didn't believe it, or rather I didn't want to believe it, because I thought it was my imagination.

I decided not to look back, thinking it was just the wind and I was hearing things.

But at that moment I felt her hug me from behind and spoke to me again.

- Are you going to ignore me like this? I might be offended.

I could hear a little resentment in her voice, but I didn't care at the time.

I was more worried about what she might do to me.

She turned me toward her, still holding me in her arms.

I looked at her with fear, but she looked at me with some kind of joy?

But even so, the fear did not disappear. I just froze like a statue and looked at her.

But then my salvation came.

- Hey, Yuki, come out. I can see you in the bushes!

Hearing the voice of one of my friends this girl was forced to let me go, and I ran towards the voice.

- Tsk, if I could kill that kid, he wouldn't have interrupted us....

But I couldn't hear her last words.

It was after these events that I became wary of her.

And to be honest - of all the girls I've seen, she scares me the most.

- ...N... can't... can't... be... uh... it's... you!

She just smiled at me, but didn't answer.

That smile seemed kind at first glance, but I'm sure it wasn't!

To me it radiated danger!

I was about to get up from my seat and run to my room, as I realized that I was near the stairs to the second floor and that my room was very close, but at that moment my flashlight went out and I heard her voice.

- We met again, but this time you won't run away, my love!

To be continued...
